Open on a Thursday at 2pm; closed on a different Thursday visit at 11:30 a.m, but open at 4pm same day. Go up central stairway and continue to your right. Located at the 2nd to last shop space at the end of main passage.Closed when I visited on a Friday at 4:30pm. The Google popular times indicator leads me to believe theyre actually closed on Fridays.Update: they have asked for a passport my most recent 2 visits. They were doing so of everyone on my most recent visit. They were also issuing receipts [a first for me].

I found the store easily because of other peoples reviews and thank them. Once again I will tell you. Please take the central stair in the building and go up to the 1st floor, then turn left to go straight to the second shop from the end. If you buy a can price 150TK. However, buy a carton cheaper than that. Hunter 24 cans are 3,000 TK, Whisky is 1500TK. Lastly, the staff was very kind and need your passport. Plus they will open 10:00 to 16:00, Mon ~ Thurs day and Fri to Sunday close. All information is from the shop owner today. If something wrong with what I wrote please update for all. Thanks.

This place is incredibly hard to find, even when you are stood outside the shop there is nothing obvious.Its location is 1st floor about 20m away from the stairs,Ive added a photo, good luck if you can find it,I bought some beer there today 125 taka for a 330ml can of hunter,they try and sell you a case but they will sell separately,you dont need your passport.

Government authorized liquor shop. They only sell liquors produced in Bangladesh (e.g. Carews: Whiskey, Vodka, Gin, Rum, Brandy, Curacao etc. & Hunter Beer) to either foreign passport holders or to drinking permit holders. The shop employees are cordial and friendly.

Not the easiest place to find, by accident we ended up on the floor above ground level and asked at the OPPO phone shop, they directed us to the shop if you can call it that, you will see from my photo the sign is covered in dust. This place is obviously controlled by government. Don’t be fooled by the pictures they only have local beer(which are not bad at all) they also have local spirits vodka brandy and unfortunately the way they are packaged don’t look inviting at all.The shop will only sell beer by the case Hunter was 120Tk so around US$33 for a case.Oh yes, don’t forget your passport!!
