AGORA is one of the oldest shopping mall in Bangladesh. Basically, this is the first franchisee who started with this one stop shoppingconcept. After its success, there are few more started follow. It has now a huge number branches now. Segun Bagicha branch is also decorated with its own standard. Grocery, fresh fish, vegetable, kid items, snacks, beverage and lot more is organised very nicely. You can come here to made your monthly shopping. Very nice place.

Agora, Shegunbagicha is a good place to shop. It is spacious and tidy. They have a good collection of commodities, properly arranged and managed well. The staffs are well-behaved and helpful. Many sale items are available with attractive offers. Very importantly, the place, except the far specific corner of fish and meat is free from the fishy smell which some of alike stores have. Only limitation is that, this branch is situated at first floor having no lift facility. So, it is not accessible for some people with physical disability or problem.

Stuffs behavior is very rude n doesnt have manner compare to other branches of agora. Its a shame agora literally hire people from the slams. I face problems like improper changes from the cashier, doesnt even ask if have agora membership card or not, the stuffs are useless they cant give proper navigation they just stand there and gossip, the person who packs the goods, literally throws your good in a packet n make the packaging a mess n so on. I think agora as a brand should take proper actions towards such stuffs.

It is a super shop. My favourite place. You can buy your daily groceries including fish, meat, vegetables and so on under the same roof. But they charge extra 5% VAT on your bill and this is so embarrassing.

A better place for shopping, a lot of varieties, their collection is huge, u can get fresh vegetables, grocery, stationary, household items and even some home decor items. Pricing is average. They also offer privilege card, recommended.

If one is willing to Pay VAT on Zero value VAT items and exempt VAT items then this is the place. Further one have to pay additional VAT on items which are VAT inclusive. Charging VAT on these items is way these big supershop cheats local public. We as a local public bargain with street groceries vendors for 5-10 taka. To those street vendors those 5-10 taka makes a huge difference instead we pay these corporate not only premium for groceries but also pay addition VAT on items which are exempt/zero VAT. Dont get cheated from these super shops raise your voice or refrain buying from here.
