Good and clean environment.They are maintaining safety issue for covid,measuring body temperature,wearing mask,they dont allow anyone without mask.Good place to enjoy movie with family and friends.After seeing movies can enjoy different kind of food as there have so resturants with different options for food.

Loved the food court. Best 🥔 wedges, tropical 🍹 and all types of 🤤 delicious food all under one roof. The 🎥 🎭 sound system is definitely the best in town. The shopping center has variety health care products and gift 🎁 items in a an affordable price range. Overall great 👍😎 atmosphere for friends and family members.

The environment is very good. Behavior of the staffs is also very good. The theater is clean. Washroom was also clean. Theater seats is comfortable. It will not hurt your back. The foods is good but price is very high. You cant bring foods from outside.

Its a great place to watch Movies with friends and family. The theatre has wonderful dolby surround sound system. As it is opened recently the environment is awesome. The movie experience is quite nice. Food and beverage are also there.

I must say that Star Cineplex is undoubtedly the best cinema complex in town! This cinema complex has multiple movie theaters inside with each theater showing a different movie. The best screen quality, movie environment and the most comfortable seats are in Star Cineplex. Star VIP Hall is the best theater followed by Star Premium Hall. Star Cineplex is the best place to enjoy Bangladeshi, Indian, foreign and Hollywood movies in 2D or 3D with great sound quality. The 3D movies are very popular and the 3D glasses fit perfectly offering excellent 3D view. The spacious seating arrangement is perfect. Movie schedules and ticket prices are displayed on their website, where you can also purchase tickets online.

As this is a comparatively new setup, experience is good. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. The ambience, sound system, and the 3D view is very enjoyable.On a quick note, you can choose super large combo pack with one large popcorn and a large drink, and save BDT 30.

Firstly I would say that the interior design was pretty nice and though its new and not so crowded like bosundhora city Cineplex well enjoyed watching movie there.the hall and sitting places are also pretty good.i hope most people would like the place and environment to enjoy the space.

Overall ambience is pretty good & has a well organized food court just outside the cineplex.

The cinema halls are better and the chairs are also comfortable. Cleanliness of the hall is still good and I hope they keep it up. Food court is also on the same floor and they have a wide range of vendors you can pick from. Since I went it with kids I was stuck with Burger King and BBQ. Right after the movie we enjoyed a scoop of ice creams from Gelatissimo.

New Cineplex. Vedio and sound quality are good. Well decorated. Neat and clean. There is also a food corner here.

Good place to hang out with friends. Cineplex is good. Food has variety but not up to the mark. After opening full market, place will be more lively. Hall 2 has Dolby Atmos so offers better sound. But other halls are also good. Bashundhara is very crowded so if you need a quite place its good.

Better sound system than the one in Basundhara. This was my second visit as I only watch Bengali movies. Tired their popcorn during the movie which is 130 taka. They maintained health safety guidelines in an acceptable manner. Overall experience was good but their customer service has not really improved much over the years.

Cineplex experience was good, Nice and clean, loved the Interior spaces,it is smaller than Bashundhara cineplex but not suffocating as Bashundhara.Staffs are nice but Lazy,Car and Bike parking available but parking fee applicable.Food court is small too, but okay in my opinion.

One of the best Cineplex in Bangladesh, they only shows Hollywood and Bangladeshi movies... Seating arrangement are nice. Anyone can book tickets from online, messenger and counter.

Hands down the best theatre for movies in Dhaka. Prices are reasonable as well. The halls and picture quality is excellent too. Unfortunately 3D isn’t one of my favourites but it’s fine. Their also a huge food court outside the halls so you can indulge on that too. Overall I’m been at Star cineplex Bashundhara for over 10 years and now the one here at Dhanmondi is a much better update that it needed

The outlook of this branch is just mind blowing. It can be easily be compared with the halls we used to visit abroad. The lighting,seating capacity, the space compliments perfectly.

The new Cineplex in Shimanto Shambhar has a nice ambience, newer more comfortable seats and overall a better movie experience. The food court here is also good

Huge food court with 20+ different stall. 300+ sitting facility there. But you cant take food from there to the hall. They have a separate food stall for cineplex. Quite awful. The shopping mall is not fully open yet.

The cinema hall is quite good, both regular and Premium. The price of premium seat of hall 1 is 450tk. There is good food corner though taste is not upto the mark but the popcorn is must to try for movie.Outside the hall there are food booths as well. The view from 9th floor is really gorgeous. So if you are planning to visit here it would be worth of spending money.

Based on its size they did very good job and the lighting and sitting arrangements are also pretty good.

Star cineplax Shimanto shomvar is a new addition for the movie lover. It situated in shimanto Square dhanmondi 2. Their hall rooms are very nice. There are big food court in front of this cineplex.

Till now in late 2019 it is the best movie experience zone in the country. Both the 3D and 2D halls screen are much bigger than other cinemas in the city. Specially picture quality of the 3D hall is far better than other halls. Seats are confortable and spacious. Entrance interior is really good. Only one obligation I can put is the entrance area size. The area is not adequate for good amount of people considering 3 halls of about 750 people while it will be in its full capacity. Foods are as usual of other movie places. Nothing special. Star Cineplex is always a prominent place for watching movies in Dhaka. It offers a completely air conditioned soothing environment for its customers. You can have your favourite snacks and drinks while watching movies. Though I find the price of the movie tickets and snacks comparitively high, still I would recommend you to visit star cineplex. I think, a person belonging to the middle class can afford to watch movie there atleast once in a month!

Best in its class for watching movies

Star Cineplex recently launched their new Hall in Shimanto Shambar Dhanmondi. Its great to have a new cineplex in my own are. Now I dont have to go to far places to watch a movie. The new cineplex is just amazing. Very well decorated interior that will be loved by all. They definitely has parking area, wheelchair accessible entrance and wash rooms. You next time you want to go to a movie come to Star Cineplex Shimanto Shambar.

Well a wonderful cineplex in the city since its a new one with respect to picture and sound quality. The prime thing which draws my attention is the marble tile floor just after the ticket checking door of cineplex. That is quite reflective. The cineplex has now 3 halls right at this moment. May be it will be found a bit clumsy compared to the Bashundhara citys one. But I recon.

Excellent halls for regular movie-goers like me. Sound system is better than Bashundhara cineplex.Maybe it is brand new that is why but the overall decoration and the ambience of the halls are pretty great and to top it all you will have a great food court outside the hall which serves the most delicious, excellent perfect pricey items you can enjoy in Dhaka city.

Very good Screens. Even better quality sound. Very satisfied with the service and sufficient parking facilities. Definitely coming here again. :) However options could be changed. There can be more variety snacks like popcorn and chicken popcorn.
