The restaurant is nice. Lets talk about food,The fish was so good. I would rate this 7/10. Chickens flavour was awesome, when you bite into the chicken , first you can fell the crispy skin then juices and flavours will burst into your mouth. I would rate the chicken 9/10.ButThe rice and the sides were horrible. Which is very disappointing. Hope they will improve.Thanks for reading.

Overall liked their food. Steak was juicy but not perfect. Brisket was well cooked and liked it very much. Ambience is nice and good for friends and family. Highly recommended for beef lovers.

Really liked the food. Service was good. The ribs and the beef brisket was really tasty. Tried the carnivore’s delight sharing plate for 2 and it was a huge amount. Will definitely come back again. Keep it up!

Shrimp nachos were okay. Ribs were well cooked and juicy. Mashed potato was buttery smooth and yummy.

Service was really good. Ribs were Good but not hot. Sides were cold. Had to send back. Its a shame as this has the potential for so much more.

This place has numerous food varieties ranging from vegetables, salads, steaks, soups and many more delicious items. The seating capacity of the place also seemed adequate. as far the taste is concerned the items which I ordered were both tasty and looked yummy.

Visited the restaurant with family in the first week of September 2019. The ambiance was welcoming and the staff attentive. We ordered crispy mushrooms as starters. Entrees were quarter chicken with sticky rice, mashed potatoes, vegetables and coleslaw as side dishes. We also tried the fish and chips and bbq beef. All the dishes were quite tasty. I have no objection to visiting this restaurant again.

The sizes of the chicken wings were so small and the rice didnt go well with the deep fried dory fish. I would never go there again. The decor is nice but the food compared to tye price👎

Nice khichuri served with ribs. Fish fillet was a bit too oily. But then. Brownie with a scope of vanilla ice made everything perfect!

Today (6-5-2019) went there with all my team. They took total 2 hours to serve 20 person food. How they doing business I have no idea. So when food came we have no choice to taste the food rather eating. Was so hungry. They dont have any preparation or planning if all table are full. Very much disappointed. Dont go there please. Its horrible.

My friend was waiting for me at Tabaq, a floor below, but the cacophony at the coffee shop forced her to move upstairs to Meat Theory, whose lack of fish on the menu compelled us to consider The Smokes next door.Weve been scouring places for good hot wings after Georges closed, and the Peri-Peri Wings here werent all that hot.The ribs though, amazing. It was plenty obvious how well they carried out slow-cooking the meat. The herb rice accompanying it had an excellent deshi khichuri flavor. I daresay a hint of turmeric was added.The salmon was alright, but the cubed onions were a travesty. Just ask them to hold the onions, completely unnecessary.Cajun fries, or generously spiced fries, were very palatable, though it took a toll the morning after. But the mashed potatoes are the clear winner. While I laud mixing in a little beef, the flavor quite actually exploded with the addition of a little English mustard. Going to keep that in mind next time Im making some mashed potatoes at home.The bill will run a little high.Remarkably fast service, the staff were very helpful, great facilities (toilet), and a pretty decent place. Will drop by again.

Great ambience. Great service complemented by extremely well behaved and helpful staff. A little too expensive for the quality in my opinion. However, the menu provides a lot of variety within main dishes, which is great if you are out in a group with everyone having different taste preferences.

Beef brisket, beef ribs, BBQ chicken, seafood, gourmet burgers, pastas.I love the food so much so that I went there 3 times in a span of 11 days.

The food was good. Decent prices, given Dhaka standards, but this means spending at least 1k per person.One caveat though: the music does not go with the setting. It was quite annoying, actually.

Sharing platter for two at The Smokes! Comes with smoky beef brisket, beef ribs, smoky grilled chicken, a portion of rice, fries, corns & slices of bread. The smoky beef brisket tastes awesome with a very smoky flavor (as they are slowly smoked for 16-18 hours) & comes with your choice of their sauce. I took the original bbq sauce for the smoky brisket. Amount of brisket provided in the platter was not satisfactory, could be little more. The bbq beef rib was so tender & soft, you can separate the meat from the bone with just a gentle shake. Choice of sauce was texas honey for the beef ribs. I was a little sceptical about the chicken while I was ordering, thinking how the chicken would taste among the beef! But as soon as I had the first bite, all my doubts were gone. The chicken was well grilled with bbq sauce on top. Didnt had the dryness inside the chicken meat. Rice was more like Khichuri which went well with all these. The fries were regular, nothing so special about that. The corns were just boiled, tasted sweet with no sauce on it. We asked for their signature garlic pepper sauce for the corn & the duo tasted superb. Though this was a platter for two, the whole platter can easily be shared by 3 person. No drinks were included with, which was kinda letdown! Overall, this platter is definitely recommended!!Price: BDT 2,600 exc. Vat!

Smallish restaurant with good food. Reasonably priced menu that offers a bit of a messed up line of cuisines. Okay to call it a fast food joint. Takes a while to prepare the food. Staffs are well mannered. Good place to hang out with friends.

Exceptional steak! Probably one of the best in town. Their Ribs and Brisket is a must try. Dont go for any chicken item though. Service is excellent. The choices of sauces are also good. A bit expensive but worth it. A good place to eat if youre a meat lover :)

Good eat out place and very clean. Also a wide choice of food including fish and chips. Service a little slow but then again there was 24 of us. They do mojito drinks and have a choice of flavours, however this is an area they can improve on the consistency.

I like this place for quick lunch. They got a nice combination of decor and food. Their food is not the best, but it tastes good and I have enjoyed by time there few times. The staff are very attentive, specially during lunch hour.

This restaurant in Gulshan 1 is very underrated. The food is great here and I stumbled upon this place by chance. All the food I had there so far is great and within fairly reasonable price. The decor is also nice. I have grown fond of this place in a very short time.

Really tasty food and fantastic arrays of items ranging from fired calamari to steaks and ribs and seafoods. Staffs are nice and friendly. Place is also very cozy. One of my favorite places. Loved it both the times.

I have tried their beef platter 02 and Canadian fish n chips. Loved both of them. The interior is well decorated and maintained by friendly staff. All in all, a great option to dine and hangout with friends n family. recommended.

Food with nice background music will set your mood. Mainly fish items are good, a little pricy I think. Soups are good, but they only have three types of soups, and no sea food soup! Seriously! 😔 Anyway, not a bad place to hang around.
