Nice restaurant with buffet and order dish food quality and service are excellent. Taste also fine. But most of the dinner items are in the room temperature which creates bad impression on customer mind.

I have attended a seminar today. The venue facility was standard, ambiance exclusive and food was awesome! Unlimited food and drinks. Taste was yummy! I strongly recommend The Food Land Buffet!

They show many things in their FB page but they break their promise which is not preferable. Items are less than prescribed in FB.Foods are not tasty and service is not up to the mark.You can find out better place within same budget. Dont waste your money and time for this place

The food quality was below average, as per price quantity was ok,but should improve food quality. Hospitality ,stuff behaviour, ambiance, interior was good.

A very new place. I would be extra reserved to not mark it as the worst possible place to have any kinds of foods. Their staffs are not mature enough to serve a big group of people in a party. They need to be trained a lot. I would give 5 out of 10 for their service.Food was not up to the mark, to be frank. Our menu included Manchurian chicken, fried rice and chinese vegetable. Though they suggested that the Chicken Manchurian would be gravy enough for a plate of rice. But sadly, it was drier than usual chicken fry. I would rate their food as 3 out of 10. Highly disappointed.But if you need a place for a get-together, I would suggest this place to sit around for a while and have fun. It was pretty spacious and the decoration was nice. 7 out of 10.

I have done our iftar mahfil with my friends in there. They offer buffet iftar plus dinner. In 2019 , price was 999 with vat. But they offer buy one get one free. Taste of the items was good. But not as much.

The executive director very confidently told me that all of the food items were great and tasty. But most of the items were meh to me. They werent bad but not that good as claimed. The beef bhuna was very hard to chew. Food items mostly were cold. The chicken curry was good. Thai soup was above average. The lemon juice was awful.

One of the best restaurants I have seen is The Food Land. The quality of their food is very good. They serve many delicious foods. And their buffet, breakfast, fine dining, etc. I like everything very much.

Had this platter today and really enjoyed it within my budget. Price doesnt compare food quality. And the behavior of the waiter was 5 star rating type. I am happy :) with their service

Great food - Great Service - Good size portion. All the traditional Indian dishes including Vindicator which is one of my favorite. Its traditionally made very hot which I like. Dont worry the professionally trained servers will guide you trough the menu. Dont forget to try the various bread- all delicious..... Enjoy

A very friendly welcoming place to spend a couple of nights. All personnel were very well trained, accommodating and helpful (all done with a smile). Everything was handled with efficiency and attention to every detail was given. Food was delicious and the view was wonderful while dining. Thanks for doing such an outstanding job to make the stay so pleasurable.

Overall impression, Its okay! Nothing fancy. They claim they offer 80+ items in buffet within 650BDT budget. Majority of the items were either vegetable or salads. To be honest, I was expecting at least main dishes to be little more and relevant with other items.

The decoration of this place is too good. Though the place is decorated so well but food is not satisfactory at all.Their behavior is good but they are little bit slower than other restaurants to fill up the buffet item again. I cant recommend the food land as a very good place. Their food quality and taste is not good to me actually. Their serving is not clean.I got 2 long hair with a basket of wonton. When I informed them about hair within wonton, they had no response on that issue.Now time to start main course. We ordered fried rice, sweet & sour chicken, vegetable, fried chicken and sizzling chicken. Almost at the end of my food, I got a steel scrubber within fried rice. It surprised me. I informed one serving boy about the steel scrubber within fried rice, but no apologies or reply or response from them. This time I am shocked 😵.Their sitting arrangements and interior is just normal to me. I have very bad experience with their food and management ☹️.

You might be interested to get in on the low priced budget that they are advertising, but trust me not worth your money. Their tag on their facebook should be removed immediately! Becuase the food was no where near satisfactory. The white pasta they served on their buffet is basically Macaroni soaked in cream, bland and devoid of any characteristics of pasta. And dont even get me started on the other dishes, the thing that have going for them is their staff is really well mannered and their place is also nicely decorated! THAT IS IT!!!

The behaviour of the staffs are really outstanding. So is customer service. Food specially dessert section could be better though, but I guess for the price of BDT 650 (including VAT and charges and drinks) what more could I ask? overall experience was good!

It is a well decorated place. Maximum time people do mistake and go to the wrong place. It is situated beside the Bank Alfalah head office and main road. Though the place is decorated so well but food is not satisfactory at all. I have tasted buffet item with a huge number of people. We were in total 50 number of people but no one is satisfied at all. We have tasted these item at Iftar in Ramadan. From my opinion, their behavior is good but not satisfactory, they are little bit slower than other restaurants to fill up the buffet item again. They took so much time to refill their food. The food had no extraordinary taste, all the food had normal taste except dessert. Their dessert was better than any other food items. So, if you want to have some good food that restaurant is not for you. But if you want to hangout with some good amount of people or friends you can meet up at this well decorated place. Besides, you can capture some good photos there. You can taste any types of food on your risk.😉 Its totally up to you. Maybe your taste is different. 😊

I like the ambiance of the food land. They have got a wonderful buffet lunch and dinner. The breakfast and coffee are must try item. It is an ideal place for birthday party and anniversary.

I went here for lunch, and unfortunately the frozen lemonade was not available but I did not let this hinder my experience. The food was good and there was plenty for the money paid. Overall a nice spot that you can get in and out within 30 minutes if youre looking for a good place to eat.

Wonderful meal that was perfectly served by our waiter, Anamul, who also filled us in on the local community. Room service breakfast was exactly on time, hot (not warm) food and oh so good. All in all, a perfect stay!!

Old rotten potatoes. Dried old chicken fries. Old microwaved briyani. Only thai soup and wonthon was worth eating. Everything was made too sweet or sour to cover up the age of the curries. Very bad experience. Just to be clear, we had the dinner buffet.

Food quality of The Food Land Dhanmondi is not good. actually its super bad! every items seems like rotten. also every item is tasteless except beef. theyve said they have 100+ item for buffet. but I found only 40-50 items.if they count chairs and tables then that is different thing. lolalso they dont have enough capacity for the customer. though we went there with our circle by pre-booking but they didnt manage chair for all of my friends. too much mismanagement.but when we informed these with their management then also their behaviour also not good.

It is really nice place for family and friends hangout. I went there for iftar, they had package for iftar with dinner. Items were contemporary, however traditional iftar item were so so. I liked their different types of vorta with plain rice. The fried rice with different chicken item and beef were awesome. Soup and halim was also good. Dessert were tasty and high quality. One thing I must say, they have a chili drink, which I just loved and even took one while was leaving the happenings. Overall it was a good experience. Their staff were nice and decent, guessing their management is also good. I got a offer like buy one get one free in Ramadan. At least it was worth trying with half the price with a get-together.

A restaurant on satmasjid road. wide sitting at 2nd floor gives comfort. very narrow lobby area and small lift makes narrow wish to get in. traditional breakfast like porata roti beaf dal nihari vegitable etc are good to eat.

(forgot to take a photo of it)FOOD: The main thing that people would go is their food and ambiance,right? we orderedmutton Hydrabaadi biriyani, set menu-2 & drinks. quantity of food was good Ill say, biriyani was tasty, liked the fragrance as well but the meat in biriyani was so very UNDERCOOKED, normally mutton gets softer when mixed in biriyani but we couldnt cut the meat cz their were 2-3 big chunks of undercooked meat, no small Peices.when we asked the waiter he answered rudely like this is the first time were eating hydrabaadi biriyani... . why?? as for the set menu it was satisfactory.SERVICE: the WORST service. i felt really bad for the owner cz he built this fine restaurant but bcz of some poor service I cant give his restaurant a good rating. the waiter that served us,gave only one plate for two persons upon serving the biriyani, i asked another waiter for a plate and the drinks never came, the drinks came very late... why??another waiter sincerely apologized but the plates didnt come, later when the set menu was served we again told him to give a plate and he gave the plate which he carried the set menu in, i mean does providing a plate costs that much annoyance? couldnt cut meat cz there were no knife on the table, its a basic knowledge to provide spoon, fork and knife in a restaurant.There were another family beside us but as soon that family left the AC above us was turned off, it was hot otherwise i wouldnt write about your AC.when we told if he could turn the AC on, OUR BRILLIANT WAITER SAID, ONE OF THEIR STAFF(not any customer)WAS FEELING COLD THATS WHY THE AC THAT WAS ABOVE US WAS TURNED OFF.. i mean really? apologizing is not being weak.. it is a sign of politeness. yet this waiter was very RUDE,ARROGANT, NOT WELL TRAINED, NOT WELL BEHAVED.why?and why was only he serving? why not other? bcz he was your oldest and longest employee?MR. Today, I have tried the breakfast at The Food Land. It was traditional Bengali breakfast. The food was delicious. I took beef Kalo Bhuna, Lachchi Parota, mixed vegetables, Halua and Coffee. The quality of the coffee was world class! The server was very gentle and quick. Other staff including the cashier was friendly. I liked their washroom- it is up to five star standard, neat and tidy. They have a live kitchen- I saw from outside. The kitchen is specious. I have a friendly chat with one of the chefs, they informed me that they do not use artificial colour or testing salt. The use pure and fresh oil to cook food.The best thing is that they have two shelves full of books. I like reading books while eating outside. That is why this a perfect restaurant for casual eaters.The ambiance of the food land is the best in Dhanmondi. I liked the music- Rabindra Sangeet in the morning sets the mood for a great weekend for me.
