Alls good except for the rice. It was a little dry.But other than that superb.The amount was fairly decent according to the price.

Enough meat & potato was there...rice was nicely cooked...jali kabab was great...It was okay type kacchi with less spices...Who doesn’t like much spice in kacchi this would be the best option for them...Which I like most, after eating their kacchi I didn’t feel anything bad which is a common terms after eating rich & oily food.

The price is very reasonable considering the kacchi. I would suggest if you want to taste the signature old town kacchi, go to Kolkata Kacchi Ghor. That will be the one of the best kacchi experience in your entire life. And their Badam Shorbot and also the Borhani wil make you fell good to drink!

This is the one and only authentic Kolkata kachhi shop. They do not have any other branches in Bangladesh or else.Kachhi taste good.. perfect tender mutton. Kachhi feels very light and well balanced in masalas. Loved it.Borhani taste normal.However, seating area is very limited and serving style is typical dhakaiya style.Car Parking will b a great issue here. Even bike and cycle parking is taught here.

I found anoder good kacchi for my kacchi loving list. Its juicy and neat. Delicious Fresh and tasty flavour will make you hypnotise.The mutton piece is very soft and appropriately cooked. Their rice also perfect for kacchi.The service people are friendly and cordial. They have very small sitting arrangement. Good for small group hangout with kacchi only. Kacchi with their borhani will masmarise you. They also make pista sharbat but I found it very watery.Highly recommend for true kacchi lovers.

They have been running this restaurant from after liberation. Kolkata kacchi is famous for kacchi. Nevertheless the presentation of serving food will draw out your saliva. Pickle is served with kacchi. What makes them difference is the meat thats served with kacchi. Its very soft and near melting. You should not miss the Jali kabab as well.

Quality and quantity not like As before..

This restaurant is situated by the side of central jail (Old) in Dhaka. Kachchi will cost about 220 taka, borhani is about 40 taka. They also serve a plate full of achar which is delicious when taken with rice. The mutton is quite large.I didnt find the jali kabab tasty, as it was full of onions. It ruined my appetite.The area of the restaurant isnt fittable for more than 30 people.But I suggest everyone to try this kachchi.

This used to be the best kachchi place before the sultans dine days. I dont have any photos of the restaurant, as the last time Ive been there was back in 2015/16. The usual meal was half kachchi, extra rice, chatni, jali kabab and borhani. We usually had to wait outside, as it was mostly over crowded.

I’m not a biriyani lover but I eat sometimes!When I first visit that shop it was a tiny little store kind of “ঢুকতেই শেষ”। only 6/7 person can be sited at a time. And when we ate that warm kacchi, we all are sweating 😅 but we all are amazed to test the Kacchi. One of the finest and delicious kacchi served with 2 mutton pieces, potato, kabab and burhani we ate at that place. Afterwards we recommend our friends, colleagues and many others. Some visit there, some takeaway and the test remain in same.After long, today I visit that place again with my WiFy. The decoration of shop changed. It was bigger then earlier. Also they fit A/C in the shop for customer demand. But the main show “Kacchi” got tasteless..😞 no smell, 1 piece of mutton😕, and thick cold bad smell burhani😖, price got high😨make me understand that “never come to visit or recommend anyone”

The manager enforcing that people go inside in turns emphasize the sincerity and adherence to decorum in the establishment.Inside, theres very little elbow room. Even washing the hands is a challenge.But the food, it lives up to the hype. The meat comes off the bones. The large potato cuts break under the fingers just as easy.The rice, long and thin, are cooked to court the palate, not to stuff the stomach. A plate of Kacchi will curb the hunger without rousing the feeling of a bloated waterbag.Would I visit again? Only for takeaways, I like to enjoy my meals. As good as the food is, Id rather not be rushed as I masticate.

This is awesome, i ate 1 and a half plate of it but they give enough biriyani in 1 plate , and specially the mutton, its perfect, very soft and juicy with a satisfying size, and it will cost you only 200 bdt, comparing to others, they are taking a very reasonable price from you, and a special chatni(pickle) thats their flavour, if you test it once you cant forget.And you can also try labang(40bdt),borhani(35bdt) and firni(30bdt) after having your meal thats perfect.So if you want to feel the original taste then you have to go to the old town, follow the map, they dont have any sections.Thank you

One of the best Kacchi in old Dhaka. They offer basmoti Kacchi. But the space is very congested and only few people can have the food at the same time. Also, they prepare limited amount of food every day and foods get run out even before the closing time.
