Hospital is clean compared to any other government hospital. Food quality good. Multiple senior doctors will check your file during regular rounds. Nurses and staffs behaviours very appreciable and kind. Few delays in service or communication will be faced in Corona ward - this is primarily due to the fact that they have to get ready by wearing PPE. So far during my stay - I felt quite good and satisfied with the service provided. You have to be kind and if u treat everyone with kind word and respect - everyone here will adore you and try to provide you their best. We chose this hospital due to high recommendations from doctors about service quality. I also highly recommend anyone here - specially for Corona treatment.

Bangladesh Armed Forces felt the necessity of possessing a group of energetic, motivated and dedicated young people to lead the health sector in the 21st century. With this view, Armed Forces Medical College (AFMC) was established on 19 March 1998 to respond to global changes happening in medical education and technology. The AFMC campus is located at Dhaka cantonment besides the airport road opposite to Cantonment Railway Station and Radisson Blu Water Garden Hotel.Armed Forces Medical College is the only Government medical college in Bangladesh under the ministry of Defense. The academic activities of AFMC commenced through intake of 56 medical cadets on 20 June 1999. Initially the college was affiliated to Dhaka University. After the inception of Bangladesh University of Professionals (BUP), this college has been affiliated to BUP. The admission is based on merit keeping in conformity with the Government policy. Poor services. Due to covid-19 the number of patients admitted like 1or 2 in every 2-3 hour still You’ve to wait literally 15-20 minute for just a simple test slip not even for the test. Staffs aren’t cooperative at all. The attitude of some of the staffs are like theyre the king & you’re there on their mercy.Too bad experience.

This is a medical college that is quite new, and it seems it is very well-planned.Interestingly, in the first few years, mass people would not come here for treatment assuming that this is not a hospital for common people, rather for armed forces only. This assumption is induced by its gorgeous look, well-disciplined environment, proper cleanliness, all three are absent in other government medical college.Hope they will maintain all of its good qualities as showed in first few years throughout all the years to come.
