The undergraduate fair on September 3 from 6-11pm Bangladesh time will focus on associate and bachelor’s degree programs.The virtual fairs will include interactive discussions and one-on-one chats, where students can directly interact with US university representatives, EducationUSA advisers, and embassy officials.Topics will include details on degree programs, application requirements, financial assistance, standardized testing (SAT, GRE, GMAT etc.) and the student visa application process.Last year, Dhaka topped the list of South Asian cities with registered participants, demonstrating that the US remains a top destination for Bangladeshis who want to study abroad.According to the Institute of International Education’s 2020 Open Doors Report, there is a steady flow of Bangladeshi students studying in the US, with a 7.1% increase in the 2019–2020 academic year.Bangladesh is now among the fastest-growing countries of origin for international students in the US –- ranking 17th in the world and 8th for graduate students.EducationUSA is the US government’s official network of advising centres with over 550 advisers in 180 countries and territories around the world.The network promotes US higher education to students around the world by providing free advisory services. Very nice and secured embassy of the worlds 1st ranked country! Almost Everyone (especially from under developed/ developing countries) dream of migrating to US. That is their dream destination. I have seen this embassy from outside and loved the beauty! My only sister also stays in US. I have heard a lot from her regarding the scenic beauty of US! I would be overwhelmed if I can get there too!

I had chance to visit US embassy annexe building backing 2013. For the first time I have visited US embassy in Dhaka. it was a great experience for me. highly security area area well decorated and awesome environment. Staff of US embassy in Dhaka is very cordial.

They should provide a seating place for the relatives come with the candidate.

USA embassy Bangladesh employees behaviour are very Rough!!

As an American citizen 🇺🇸 I applied an immigrant visa for my wife, so I had an opportunity to visit the embassy for her interview. Interview went very well & received her visa. Visa counselor officer (caucasian lady) was very nice who spoke Bengali very well with my wife.Embassy ground is very well secured with CCTV, lots of guards and do not allow any electronic devices at all, have to have an appointment with necessary paperwork otherwise will be turned away. Great experience 👍

Very high security with armed police.This place is very sensitive.The service of USA embassy is first class. There are doing very good. All things are very clear here. No hesitation.

Great architecture

The number listed on the website and on Google does not work. After many attempts over the day, I was able to reach someone by pressing the emergency service extension only to learn that the officer in duty conveniently left the office early. It was 4 pm on a regular work day (2/14/2019).The little-to-no quality of service including the lack of accountability of US Embassy of Bangladesh was absolutely disgraceful.

Visited 3 Times and The Compound is wonderful. Every activity is fully organized in timely manner. While visiting the compound please make sure you dont take any electronic devices and sealed envelope. the staffs of US embassy are friendly

Embassy of the update States of America located in very important location. Without appointment or Visa interview latter, entry inside is restricted. Neat and clean inside. No optical device, mobile phone allowed inside with applicant.

I called the embassy from the US about my sisters immigrant petition. I was expecting hours of being put on hold and not being able to talk to anybody. I was stunned to be able to talk to an individual very quickly. Not only that, he was extremely helpful and immediately offered to help me provided I gave him some additional information. I was very impressed by the whole experience. Keep up the good work!

I’ve worked here for couple of months. I enjoyed working here. Beautiful and secured place. However, for the visitors it is not that much welcoming. Access is restricted for security reason. If you have appointment you can enter but you are not allowed to bring some personal belongings like laptop, mobile phones etc.

People are helpful both Bangladeshi and US.3. Nice architectural design.Cons:1. Long waiting line on the pavement blocking the general people.2. No parking or peoples waiting stand. Even no shed for the visa candidate. No electrical device(e.g. phone, pendrive, watch etc) and bag are allowed inside, also no storage policy at the main entrance is available.3. Poor management at the main entrance. Only a single line for all the applicants regardless of their appointment time. Security guards call for the applicants but due to long line, difficult to hear them.

It is the place from where maximum applicants are applying to get the visa of the Unites States of America.Yes, I have visited this Embassy also & got my Visa. There are some rules to give interview to the Visa Officer after getting the appointment schedule.No electronic/battery operated devices are allowed such as mobile phones, smart watches, digital diaries, pagers, audio/video devices, cameras, MP3, laptops or any portable devices/players.Only plastic bags that containing application related papers are allowed.Food & liquid items, cigarettes, cigars, match boxes, lighters and sharp objects like scissors and weapons are strictly prohibited.Only the visa applicants with their scheduled appointment for interview with visa officer will be permitted to enter in the Embassy & there is no any information booth to have any information regards the application.One bad thing I have seen there is the Que in the outside of the Embassy. There is no any shade for bad weather for the waiting people. Umbrella is permitted to bring with applicants.Anyway, thanks for reading my review.

They dont have any facility to store your personal items such as mobile phones or wallets. They wont let you enter the premises. So, if youre coming from a different city, either keep your phone in the gutter or leave at home. We got the visa, saw too many rejections in front though. People were not really happy. Good Luck.
