I Dont know nothing much about that. But still this as a graveyard where we all have to go one day. Rest in peace all who is staying there may allah forgive you all from your all sin.

They all belonged to different nations and cultures. A few of them made history for which they were remembered, whereas others were never to be mentioned again. Although each one was personally different from another - their habits, thinking and tastes differed - they all had two (2) things in common, first, they were all delivered from their mother’s womb (birth) and second, they all tasted death. Who claims he has lived a thousand years?

Peaceful place, there are two part of this graveyard. 1 for defence people another for mass people.

Its a place where about more than thousands of people are sleeping...if anyone visite, i will request to see the grave of Sheikh family(where sleeping 18 sheikh members),grave of Anisul Haque(ex Mayor,Dhaka North city Corporation),Zillur Rahman(Ex bd president) and so on.Their is a mosque their but the mosque is not sweatable for praying many people while the mosque is beautifully decorated, their can offer salat only 20-25 people.So,if anyone want to visite their,their is no visiting chare becsuse its a grave and my request,plz concider it as a graveyard,not a tourist place.....

Banani graveyard. A nice and well organised Graveyard in dhaka. Located at banani koborotan road. In entry of the main gate there is a mosque. Thousands of muslim people are sleeping. Beside this army Graveyard also situated. The dead people on 15th August also sleeping here. Their Graves also located in this place that is very close to main gate.

It’s the final resting place of Muslim to hear after.

One of the most organised graveyard in Bangladesh

This grave yard has excellent customer service. The food was also nice their Sirloin Steak was a bit expensive but was nice and tender and the quantity was fine. However, they did not salt their pasta while boiling so that was very disappointing and the atmosphere and smell was not upto the mark. As I went to a graveyard i was expecting ghosts and rotting dead bodies but found none.Overall a solid 4 star from me i i highly recommend this place if you want to do a family gathering or just hang out with friends

It has became renowned for the grave of 04 national leaders, relatives of Sheikh Hasina , the PM of Bangladesh and president of Awamiligue .

After the Independence War of Bangladesh, Jamil was promoted to Lt. Col. and was awarded Bir Bikram (the second highest gallantry award of Bangladesh). In 1974 he was promoted to Colonel and appointed Brigade Commander of 46 Infantry Brigade of Bangladesh Army at Dhaka Cantonment. He helped Brigadier Khaled Mosharraf to initiate an armed uprising on 3 November 1975 and proceeded towards Banga Bhaban against the regime of Khondaker Mostaq Ahmad. Change came on 6 November with the exit of Moshtaque from the presidency and his replacement by Justice Abu Sadat Mohammad Sayem.[2] On 7 November, a mutiny incited by Abu Taher resulted in the collapse of the coup; Khaled Mosharraf was assassinated while Colonel Jamil was arrested. He was retired from the Bangladesh Army on 26 March 1980.[3]
