I went there with a hope that, whatever review i got my experience will be the good one as i asked them about their Chef they said so many changes happened from last yr.I started my plate with a soup / thai soup and the disappointed started at very beginning.Honestly speaking in my life i have never experienced this kind of bad taste thai soup.Rating will be 4/10 .Then come to chashewnut salad, just not good at all. Even the next door restaurant can make this in good way, much salty, hardly cashew found cashew.All other things were very average , which are below expectations from restaurant of 5 star like this. Sushi was not so bad, as we are not much familier with the authentic sushi, though i hv seen a comment of sushu lover/ who used to be in Japan, it was not good at all ! Live cooking station was only for vegetables saute.We tried the prawn felt like its not freshly cooked ( kind of Bashi )Chicken tandoori, fried rice , chicken, was ok average . Which i liked is Beef masala. Even the nan was not soft enough.Buy one get 3 even though its 5k , but really disappointing and not value for money.

This restaurant is housed inside the Six Seasons Hotel, and is their principal restaurant on the hospitality property. Although advertised and positioned as an authentic Korean restaurant, local Asian food maybe ordered. The buffet offers the diner an excellent selection of Oriental, Indian and Japanese food, and the quality of cooking is very good. The place is frequented by an international clientele, and can be safely recommended to Westerners who are visiting Dhaka for a short stop, and may find it hard to stomach the spicy local food/ locally rendered Asian and European food ( which is likely to be equally spicy). The ambiance of the restaurant is first rate, and from its 14 floor hight, and through its glass walls you can enjoy a lovely view of the Dhaka skyline! The restaurant, despite its position and prestige, may seem a bit pricey, especially so because global hospitality names such as Sheraton, Intercontinental and Westin are also offering the Dhaka diners an even better deal at similar price points.

Taste of the foods are average. I found the dessert section more tastier than rest of the buffet item. You will get a great panaromic view of Gulshan lake and its surroundings. If you are food lover than this place wont be recommended.

The buffet was pretty average . Only the desserts were of self service . The system of serving chosen item was horrible . They were too slow in serving . Only the main course and 2/3 dessert items were good .Only the main course was good . :)

The food was very good. The juices they served was amazing. There is a smoking zone right beside the main dinning hall which is a big plus for the smokers. Enjoyed the fact that i can smoke after a heavy meal.

Place was very neat and cozy located at the 13th floor of the hotel overseeing the lake view. Staffs were well dressed and very prompt. Food was really good. If not the best, it should be one of the best restaurants in town. I would like to go there again.

Bunka is a decent restaurant at 13th floor of Six Seasons Hotel. You must be wondering why I rated it 3 instead of 5 stars.Thing is:Location and view from restaurant: 5/5Hospitality and behaviour: 5/5Interior ambience: 4/5Food quality and tasteFood variation compared to other restaurants in Dhaka: 2/5All the foods served are undoubtedly good in terms of taste and quality. They have live station for Teppanyaki. But, still, the variation of food offered is much less compared to the food offered by similar standard restaurants in Dhaka. I definitely appreciate their service and hospitality. But, I urge them to redesign the menu with some more options.

Do not fall a victim to their Service Buffet offer. It is one of the hideous option anyone can offer! We had a pathetic experience today at the restaurant. We were 9 people in total and we faced horrendous service from them with their ultra-painful service buffet. I was so upset with their service and food that I didnt even feel to take a picture there.

I visited this place almost two years ago with my friends when everything was different. They had really great choice of 100+ items. Really enjoyed the buffet that time.Now after 2 years when I went with my wife on 05/12/2020 (saying great things about Bunka) I was utterly disappointed. The price of Buffet Lunch was 4000Tk Net and there was no water included, forget any drinks. Also they have trimmed their menu by half. Only 50+ items are available now. I even had better experience in a 1000Tk buffet. Their dessert choice is the worst. Some items was really good, I wont forget that. But that was definitely not a 4000Tk worth buffet experience.N.B. You had to purchase 500ml water for 63Tk and there is no complementary water. I mean you seriously charge people 4000Tk and wont even bother to add water? Every other restaurants are asking that much or less, including water and soft drinks and I am referring to Intercontinental, Amari, Radisson Blu, Sonargaon.Wont recommend to anyone. PERIOD.

I will always come here and get super full. My babies love it too. Everything is good quality and they dont only offer sushi on the all you can eat menu they offer other things as well chicken Kasu and everything else. You will love it!

Went with hope to enjoy Japanese taste. Good service but food quality needs to go a long way to come up to standard where a customer will have an urge to return. Japanese taste was missing in main course. Hope they are able satisfy their guest better than what it is today.

Heard a lot about them but the food was totally disappointing. Foods lack salt and pepper. Quality and price didnt match. We went to have a fine japanese cuisine but unfortunately few food items servicing quality has gone down and we have asked them to fix it. They have amazing steaks, tepyaniaki btw. Its definitely value for money but they were far better before. Im sure they will take their services to the perfect point again.

It has been a good experience until now. Was fish festival with 4000 tk BOGO offer. However it was a rip off. There was live fish grill section where there were insufficient food n cook. Had ordered and went back to get nothing. Stayed in the line over 10 minutes with no concern from tgeir perspective n had to come back empty plated. Also who makes sea food items like deshi masala with no real taste of the crabs and calamari. They also had lamb rack with no meat on tge bones on any of the pieces.

Their items are mouthwatering. I have taken their ALL YOU CAN EAT offer and the items met the food standards completely. Some of the items I have ordered more than one time and those items were extra delicious.

Had an amazing day with my better half on a special occasion. The food was amazing with a beautiful view. Mr. Mostafa and Mr. Obaidur were extremely helpful. I have never experienced this kind of hospitality in dhaka with full co operation. They answered all my questions and queries. The staff were amazing and attentive. Would suggest to everyone for both dates and family dinners.

It was wonderfully disgusting . I have never been so excited to leave a buffet . Apart from the sushi, which was edible , everything else was either too oily , too dry , or just plain nasty. Their selection of loud music which included songs such as Pillow talk was a nice inappropriate addition to this excruciating eventing . The bright light, and over crowded table and poor service made my one hour 43 minute more intolerable. Please for the love of good reduce the price of the buffet to bdt 600 which is an acceptable price for such terrible food , or better yet, fix the issue and up your game.Thank you

One of the few good things about this restaurant is the excellent service. This place is expensive costing between 6500-7000 taka for two people. The food was rather mediocre and bland. Definitely not worth near 7000 taka at all. Just saying.

Bunka is a popular restaurant of Six season hotel. Its located at 13th floor in six season hotel. They provide two kinds of menu , one is buffet and second one is Al-A Carte menu. In their buffet menu has 102 item. When guest order then food is produced. So you cant see display food item. They provide Pan Asian Cuisine. They have live sushi and live teppaniyaki. Their food taste is really good. I taste their all item. Environment is beautiful. You can see outside view and Gulsan 2 lake view from here. I like this place very much.
