Its good overall. Staffs are Good, environment is fine. Clean beds and toilets. Pricing is bit higher for foods. They offer complementary breakfast, which is about 5 to 6 main dishes and 5 more things like fresh juice, fruits etc. The thing I love most about this hotel is its free from noise pollution. I checked out at 2.20 PM they didnt charge me extra money. If the price goes a bit lower, I would say, it will be one of the best 3 star hotel in Dhaka.

Hotel is Average.... Reception manager charged me BDT.275 despite I did not used anything from the mini bar.They misbehaved with me. A person paying BDT.4500/- Per night of stay doesn’t require telling a lie to save BDT.275/-Parking is in the underground and very congested entry (Dont dare to park if you are not a pro). Parking area is also very congested although Its free🙂.Buffet breakfast is real compliment.Room service does not answer phonecalls when needed.I repent staying there.....

The staff is professional and friendly. The room service is also good. They also offer free buffet breakfast at their rooftop restaurant which is great, also the view is outstanding. And if you want to spend some intimate time with your partner, the hotel is perfectly safe for that as the hotel don’t require to show marriage certificate as far as I know. Also, try booking.com to book rooms at discount.

Hotel Shukhtaka accepted my non-refundable booking from Hotels.com yesterday, and today I found out they were closed. Why did they accept the booking money if they could not accommodate us. I was very offended by this behaviour, I expect a full refund.

Receptionist are not well educated and their behaviour is not the way should. I just called for booking but they didn’t reserved it for me. Finally their bedding were unclean. This is not for the professional to stay. Though declaration was complimentary buffet breakfast at 7 am but on 7.45 am there was nothing, requested to stay half an hour more. Thats total about Shuktara.

It was a good place for stay in Indira Road. Hotel room price is moderate and room is neat and clean.They have buffet breakfast and daily news paper is available here.I recommend to negotiate before book any room. As it is not upscale place the food quality sometimes may vary. Overall I can give 6 out of 10. Hope they will upgrade the place and food quality

Its a pretty good hotel for the price we paid. It located centrally and everything within your reach. The front of the hotel is always crowded as there is lots of street vendors selling different kinds of goods, fruits and veggies. The bus stand is nearby and its a well known location so you can easily grab a cab or taxi. They have a rooftop restaurant and a open smoking zone. You can arrange a family meeting or get together over there. Food is quite good but the price is bit high. They have an underground parking as well.

In top floor have restaurant well decorated & but cost is very high. Service man is very well but delivery of service is very slow.

Very cozy environment for travel stay. Their services are of good quality. Service stuff is well trained. They also have spa facility.

Nice bedroom, friendly staffs and tasty food. But the hotel at the center of the city, traffic jam is everywhere. U have to be patient. It is annoying inside the room because of the sound of vehicle horn like at everytime from morning to late night.

This hotel situated in Farmgate (one of the busiest Area). The hotel space is very small. I would rate this hotel as 3 star.

Dreadful hotel to stay in, rooms are small, decor is dated and forget about sleeping if you are at the front of the hotel. The noise from the cement works where the park use to be will keep you awake all night long, so bring earplugs if you wish to sleep. Rooms are kept clean but the public areas are filthy, trays with uneaten food left in stairwells from room service, I have seen trays been left in stairwells on 5th floor for over 24 hours. If you are going out and have to use the stairs do not hold the handrail or you will have to use the public washroom to wash the dirt and grime from your hands from the handrail. In my room the A/C and fridge did not work, Fault code 88 on A/C and fridge would not cool the bottles of water that I would put in it. Breakfast buffet food was bland and the same most mornings, the staff would often disappear from the area and if you asked for a fried egg with your breakfast you never knew what you would get, it might be fried it might be a plane or spicy omelette, you just never knew. Front desk staff ( not all staff ) were rude, front desk managers were rude and ignorant. Never before in any hotel I have ever stayed in any where in the world have I had a demand made of me to pay money up front for the days I have been in the hotel before the manager would reactivate the door card to my room, I had already given a two day deposit using my credit card to the hotel, absolute disgrace that this happened. The hotel has a 3 star rating, where they got the 3 stars from I do not know as in my opinion staying in the hotel would only be slightly better than sleeping in a cardboard box on the side of a road, star rating for hotel from me -2. Would I stay in this hotel again, only if their are no cardboard boxes and space left at the side if the road. I had to put a 1 star rating in as I could not move to the next page without doing so.

I always look for hotel in the City Centre and my research is for a wheelchair friendly budgeted hotel this was the only choice. I am happy I made this choice and the rating I have given is mainly for the service and the help I got from the manager Sajeev and the staff ....there is a separate entrance with the slope but it is too steep so a little scary to get onto it with your automatic wheelchair but if you have a normal wheelchair and somebody is pushing you from behind it becomes easier because everyone around are ready to help you, then there is a little pathway which leads you to the lift but to make the turn there is very less space so it becomes a little difficult but since I always had someone around me they would help to get into the elevator... the room I had taken was single room so it was enough for one person but it is nice because it has all the facilities... it also has a very small mini bar kind of cooler, mirror and a small wall mounted TV so basically all the necessities are there... it was clean room with a nice cosy bed and plug points on both the sides of the bed ....bathroom is very small it has a head shower but not a hand shower so when you take a bath the whole bathroom becomes wet so one should avoid keeping anything around in the bathroom ...I did ask them for a bucket and mug but I preferred taking a shower always.. I would like to suggest that they should keep shower cap among other toiletries if such is a thing... the breakfast buffet is On The 10th Floor which is a rooftop restaurant but the lift only goes till the ninth floor, so on the first day I did want to go up and see what it was like, taking help of the staff I did manage to climb the steps but on reaching there I realised there was not much I was missing so from next day onwards I requested for the breakfast in the room and the staff would very sweetly get me whatever I ordered from the Buffet menu, even though it would become cold but I had no choice... the menu definitely had paratha or luchi, one non veg dish usually chicken, some fruits bread jam and other basic stuff.... they offer you a hotel taxi on hourly basis taka 500 per hr which i took and i think it was the worst decision of my trip i visited only 3 places (which i actually could not go in because of lot many steps or/either not a good feeling to get in there) and i had to pay for 5 hrs....basically i paid 2500 taka for sitting in the car in a jam always....my experience says take an uber.. i would have spend ¼ of the money if i had taken an uber...the plus point of taking a hotel taxi for me was that they gave me an assistant which was a nice gesture from their end...

A very good hotel with friendly and carying staff. Room service was best, roof top restaurant has a great view with an entensive menu and all the items I have tasted were really good.
