A renowned food shop which is famous for Halim. Dine-in and take-away both are available. Ive visited this place during Ramadan, 2021. This place completely failed to maintain their traditional quality. There are lot of better quality Halim are now available in Dhaka city.

The place is not bad. But the Halim was not that good actually. Theyre just using their name. The food quality was not good according to the price. It seemed overpriced to me. Environment was not so good. No parking space. I think the place is a bit overrated.

The reputation of having unique quality halim in Kalabagan, Dhanmondi has been gone away. Very recently Bangladesh Food Safety Authority have punished them 5 lacks taka due to their practicing very unhealthy kitchen & dirty toilets.

Very much popular name for halim(food name) and kabab, they have compact schedule for shop open, most important if you cannot love Spice food informed it before you place your food order. Different taste give us different experience

This spot had become a cultural heritage for Dhaka. People usually traveled from long distances to taste this meat stew we call Halim, only because it tastes different and meat portion was good. According to my recent visit here, I found the meat quantity has decreased, also I am not sure about the freshness of the meat. But the Taste of Halim seems good still. They gives Tamarind water in separate bowl, which I liked. You will get Chicken, Mutton and beef Halim there.

A old Halim ( Lentil & meat mixed with various spices) store of Dhaka. The taste arent like earlier.

I had TK.700.00 bowl of beef Halim. I got only bones, no meats in Halim. Taste is not that good. You can get better Halim than Mama Halim at a small restaurant beside Pantha-path. Waste of money.

Vintage! I am sure our food habit has changed drastically over last 20 years but if you are willing to allow some richness in your food, mama halim wont disappoint you. Nice little place, moderately clean, 3 types of halim and you have the option to have it with luchi.

I got a 500 taka bowl.. half meat half bones if you get the beef. Taste was also not that great. First time having mama halim ,not a good experience. Will not be buying again.
