One of the finest dining you can experience in Dhaka. It is under the hotel Le Meridien. Their service, food quality; everything is up to the mark. The most recommended thing to try there is their dinner buffet. Parking is available.

I am always up for a good buffet within reasonable price. I came to know about the dinner buffet at the Latest Recipe which had 230+ items. I called them for reservation and came to know their regular buffet costs 5000 k all inclusive but they had a dinner buffet on only Saturdays , which servers the same items but at a lesser rate which is 3725 tk . So I went for the buffet. And they had Buy one get one offer with that for selected cards . I had the Visa signature card from Standard Chatarard Bank. You can call them earlier to know if your card is applicable for BOGO offer. I strongly recommend you to do that or collect a applicable card from your friends or family. Cause just 1800+ for a buffet of 230+ items in a 5 star hotel like Le Meridien seems like a pretty good deal. On the contrary, while it is 3725 per person it doesnt seem like that much of a deal. The buffet starts from 6 pm to 11 pm. I went there a little bit earlier and enjoyed the ambience and view from their rooftop pool bar. Which is a great place for taking photos.Entered the restaurant at exactly 6pm . They showed us our table. You should also note that only for reservation they will provide you with a choice of Mineral water or a cold drink. And no other drinks are included in the buffet. And I also recommend you to do that cause a bottle of water or can of soft drinks usually costs 150 to 180 in any 5 star hotel !! And another thing I gave them my card and told them to take our bill earlier cause I had bad experiences of cards not working in restaurants. 😐😐Now about the buffet it was based on Continental food items. They had a Sushi bar with 8 types of sushis, wasabi and different types of Japanese sauces and various other Japanese , Thai , Chinese items which I dont have any idea what they are. They had a bread bar with 15+ types of breads , different types of cheeses and butters. And a bar for Indian food. A live authentic Chinese noodles bar. A live kebab bar with different types of Kebabs. A soup bar. A fruit bar with atleast 20 types of fruit. A dessert bar with atleast 25+ items of dessert. Which included pastries, ice creams, jello , live pancakes, live waffles and Desi sweets .Items to try:•Different types of Sushis•The Beef Biscuit. For me this item was the star of the show. Beef fat on the outer layer and solid beef in inner layer. Perfectly cooked. And the tenderness.•The beef stew.•Hyderabadi dam chicken biriany•They had like 8 types of ice creams. And each of them were so delicious. And you can choose 10 types of toppings with them.•They different varieties of pastries.•The dark chocolate and white chocolate fountains . Where you can dip marshmallows. I asked them if the marshmallows were Haram . They told me it was gelatin free and egg made marshmallows.•Different types of Kebabs. There this nothing to say about the ambience of a 5 star hotel like Le Meriden. Top notch quality. And the service was really good.

Good but expensive restaurant to hang out with friends and family. Price tag is expected as its a restaurant of 5 🌟 hotel. Foods, fruits are ok as you expect from any 5 🌟. They have a huge collection of foods of different cuisine. You will have plenty of time to taste their foods. Just take it easy and enjoy. And PLEASE, DO NOT WASTE FOODS.

I went with my wife for celebrating our anniversary.I have my reservation clearly stating that it’s our anniversary. They surprised us! Really with their so unprofessional atmosphere they surprised us. I would rather say they spoiled our anniversary dinner.Even they didn’t give the cake as they were supposed to give. As so many experiences I have about chain hotels I will definitely rate them as a normal hotel, no star at all.

Amazing ambience. Multitudes of cuisine starting from Bengali to Japanese, Chinese , Indian, and all the way to Hakka. Slightly expensive, however they do partner up with multiple banks allowing several offers throughout the year. Not every single food item is good (obviously) however, some are delicious.
