Its a modern tong ( tea stall) restaurant. Open terrace sitting arrangement and indoor sitting arrangement both are available. 5 tables in indoor which is suitable 15 people. Interior design was funny, some typical bangla movie poster are pasted one wall.We ordered Dhakaiya kabab platter, price 999 taka for 1:2 with unlimited luchi. Food taste was good but little bit salty and spicy. We enjoyed it.Food Quality 8/10Interior 8/10Customer Service 10/10Not child friendly
Love their malai tea and indian food. must try the halim. its splendid
Its good place for having beef chap/tea. But if you wanna spend quality time with family i will suggest not for going there because a large number of school going students (eng medium) go there & keep on smoking all time. Also i have seen two teenager couple kissing nearby washroom..very uncomfortable
Good place to chill. Tried out their bheja fry. The rice was bland. The bheja fry was underfried, could smell the ingredients. However, the lemonade was good.
The food was not up to the mark and a bit smelly. Kolija singara seemed a bit decisive, there was very less amount kolija in that. When we raised the concern to the authority, they didnt take it on their account with urgency. Furthermore, It seemed pretty overpriced as well!
I tried their Halim Luci, mint laasi, lemonade. It was very refreshing and nice.
It is a low budget adda place for me. Tea is good according to the price (better then tong) but I can not say the best. But some juice are disappointing, last night I tried apple juice and it was salty (which disappointed me alot and maybe for that reason I forgot to take photo), to change my disappointment I had lemon ice tea which was really good. It is a great place to spend some time with friends. Drink prices are justified but foods are really overpriced.
Foods are tasty. But they have increased the prices of the foods. Its not customer friendly. We want to have these kinds of delicious foods on a regular basis but that is not possible due to higher price.Service is extremely good. Indoor and outdoor seating arrangements. They should re-do the walls as they are wearing out and the posters should also be renewed.
Had the masala tea only. It was good and smelled really nice. Loved the balance.
We went to The Red Window which is on top floor of Bheja Fry to have breakfast. I liked their simple and cozy ambience, they have decent varieties of pastries and meals. I was delighted to see chicken waffle sandwich. I tried their cream of mushroom soup and breakfast platter and I must say they dont cut corners with quantity and taste. Those two meals were enough to fill two hungry stomachs, I have tried Cafe latte which was decent tasting too, not too strong but just right for my taste. Those who prefers strong coffee may want to skip it. Overall great tasting food, reasonable pricing and ambience all provides great restaurant experience.
Good place for Chap.. lemonade is good as well... Didnt try anything else.. not very comfy thats why 4 ⭐
The decor of the air conditioned place is awesome for the bangla mo ie posters and the wall paintings. We had ordered a shahi tukra and 5 cups of malai chaa. The shahi tukra was a bit disappointing; as it was dry. The malai chaa was, however, what I expected. Very milky, and a good balance of sweetness and caffeine. Its a good place for an adda with your friends.
The name speaks for itself. The Bheja fry was jusy awesome. This is their signature dish I guess. We also tried bed chaap. It was tender & flavorfull. We had these items with soft luchi. And last but not the least the Shahi tukra in dessert was just mind blowing.Staffs were welcoming and prompt in their service. The interior was unique as they tried to create the typical dhaka vibe with retro cinema posters.Beef chaap was 150tkBheja fry was 165tkLuchi 25tkAnd Shahi Tukra was 120tkPhoto of the menu is also attached
This place is a must go place for kabab lovers. They have several signature items like bheja fry, chaps, etc, They also have malai cha which is one of theie specialities. They also have mint lassi which is quite refreshing. The interior of the place is quite average nothing to be hyped of. Prices seemed reasonable to me but their items were very delicious.
Ok!but they sould improve the quality of the food
The food is affordable and delicious. The outdoor seating area is quite cozy and especially nice in the evening.
Well behaved staff. Food is okay. Good for long time hangout but not for quick meal or snacks
The place is buzzing with energy. Young and beautiful crowd, cheap tasty food, loud music and what not!
Very good place for chaap and hangout. Very good food with delicate taste. Good service and ambience. Though inside sitting arrangement is not so cozy but outside is fantastic. Their chaa is sublime decor is quite good.
Went there for the first time tonight . . Heard a lot about them.. quality of food was good but their service was too slow!!!
Bad sitting. Bad tea. Bad crowd. Bad lighting.
I love this place! The interior is gorgeous and the staff are friendly. My favorite item off the menu is the Beef Basil rice, for sure. Im a little hesitant about the poutine and the nachos, though. Other items Ive loved here are the fish in lemon and herb with rice, and the Caesar salad.Desserts are definitely their signature, though. Theyre not just adorable to look at, but taste great. This includes their milkshakes, and Im a little partial to the red velvet shakey. Ive included photos of their red velvet jar (150tk I think), and assorted tarts plate (250tk). VAT and service charge arent included in the pricing, so do be aware of that.
Cool ambiance, reasonable price, well mannered staffsA good place for evening addas
Kinda small place... But convenient location. They have outdoor tables. which is also smoking zone.food prices are higher than usual. Tried shikh kabab and achari khichuri.
Food was ordinary. The Lassi was good.
🤫
Tried their dhakaiya platter. Worst kabab ever in my life 🤮🤮Complete waste of money😠
Very overrated and over priced food, but the smoking zone is huge
Overpriced. Cant justify it with the place, service or quality of food
A somewhat liberal and overall good place to spend your afternoon and evening. Good stuff.
Great taste... good amount...prompt service...would love to visit again..
Affordable place to hangout near Dhanmondi 27. Extra point 05 for smoking zone.
Good food with moderate pricing
Food was average but over priced. Service is very slow based on there arrangement.
I have tried their tea, it was good but a lit bit pricy
Good food
Just fries! And theyre unhealthy fries. Wouldnt recommended!
Good place to hangout , i tested desert on hare. Its 7/10
Good.
Loved it
Loved the foods and the environment
Well decorated interior. They have done their best in this section. You will feel a homely environment here. Foods are also good but some of their items are overrated. Like Red Velvet Cheesecake which is too much sweetened also not good in taste. So dont go for their cheesecakes. You can try other stuffs.
Turkeys coffee, awesome
Good one. Had iftar. Price was reasonable compared to the food offered. But wad too much to consume for a single person. Id suggest less food to be offered in set menu so that customers can have liberty. Malai tea was too good.
The best chaap station in the city.
It has reputation for tea, specially the Malai tea. It is busy most of the time so consider some time as you need to wait to get the foods ready. Staffs are friendly. If you go near by this restaurant you can give a try.
Just wow....
Well.. Its a nice place but the price rate is very high. Also u need to pay 10%service charge and 15% Vat making it even more expensive. The quality was quite ok but the quantity wasnt impressive. I suggest looking at their displayed food before u order thinking of getting a good amount. The interior is nice and fancy but I am not very impressed with the service. A little disappointed.
One of the very best places for desserts in Dhaka (south). Also good snacks and great service with eye catching decorations. Once youve been there, youd go again for sure!
With recent popularity they hiked the pricing of items. Although its nice but a small cup of milk tea costs 60 tk! Bheja fry 220 which used to be 165. The quantity and quality both seem to have sadly gone down. Dont forget about the 15% VAT and 10% service charge which are not included in original pricing. If you can accept the increased pricing and drop in food quality, with its both indoor and outdoor homely sitting arrangements its still a very good place to hangout in Dhammondi.
Great place for hanging out with friends. The food is reasonably priced and great in taste. The stuff is well behaved and polite
Good food, good dessert, good environment. Nicely decorated place. Though the building is a very old one, you will experience a different look inside. Good place for hangout with friends and family.
Very nice place to hangout with groups. The food is great. If you have a sweet tooth, Red Window is recommend for you - theyve got really good desserts and shakes.
Working pleas
Nice food with reasonable price. Small restaurant, they have both indoor and outdoor sitting arrangements. Have car and bike parking with security. Their luchi is awesome, very soft. Tamarind pickle I liked most. I have given picture below of menu. Inside decorations are made of bd cinema poster. Their menus have varieties also. I would like to pay visit again.
Nice decoration
Taste good but price little bit high, but they have an unique interior decoration that will definitely surprise you. Staff behaviour is well and good
Nice ambiance. Good food nothing extraordinary. Price is reasonable. Did not try the cakes but they looked very attractive.
Price is way above being reasonable. Service is fine. Food is good but quantity is less than that of other similar places.
Loved their haleem
The staff were very very friendly. Celebrated a birthday there recently. Went beyond call of duty to make our time enjoyable. Also, the red velvet cheesecake is
Not the best chicken chap I had. But their Malai Tea was really good. 😁
Their special items are more than awesome! Behaviour of the stuffs is also good. Decorated with old Bangla film poster. Will try to go again!
After taking our order the waiter informed us that its going to take 45 minutes for our food to be ready, and asked whether wed like to order something else in the meantime ,so we ordered some dessert. After almost 1hour and 15 minutes we still werent served ,and when I asked him how much longer is it going to take he was like you did not confirm your order . If I order something once why would I have to confirm my order again? Very unprofessional. The place is small and NOT cozy.Cant comment on the quality of food, because we werent served, lol.
Fluffy luchhis, oily and creamy brain fry and juicy chaaps. And dont forget their super milky tea. This place is a good street food cuisine joint for deep fried food lovers.
Legit place to hang out, not a place for heavy meals. The environment and the service is top notch. I liked the hot Chocolate , the cookie shake and chocolate lava shake was at best average.
