Its an amazing place for readers and foodies together! People can visit for lunch, dinner or coffee with books.Book collection is good but limited. Again many items are available for heavy lunch or dinner including snacks & coffee.Stuff are well behaved and place are decorated nicely.

I loved this place it didn’t feel like a profitable restaurant or bookstore or whatever it is.I believe it runs on it’s goodwill because few days ago I guess they went nearly broke or something and then people came in aid and restored it.Pay them a visit. Its a wow place for the young people, actually who likes to spend time with books and coffee. A very nice meeting place for all strata of people. The hall room is quite good for arranging seminar and different events, library is quite good. Coffee bar is nice and well decorated. Very close to main road but no sound pollution inside the cafe.

Nice place in Kataban, Near University of Dhaka. One can buy or read a varieties number of books. Have a nice cafe for snacks along with heavy foods. Have ample space for working alone in laptop. But, only one charger port for laptop!! Which should be in every table.Also, I get that, the food consumption in the cafe is slow, so the price should be naturally higher. but its a bit higher, some items are even 3 or 4 times higher than regular price outside.One more disappointment was, there was no oublic wifi there, in this era!! Yes, I got the theme of only reading environment, escaping from socialization. But now a days, wifi is more used in knowledge than networking!Lastly, its a memorial place for Late Mr. Dipon from Jagriti publication. I pray his soul rest in peace.

Lovely Place! You can gossip, rest, enjoy a cup of tea and have some food. There are a lot of books, old and new ... Which are free to read. If you like one, you can buy it too. The staff here are extremely friendly, educated and well behaved.The place is also up for hire to arrange a seminer or a cultural function. They teach young children drawing and classical music as well.

This is a book store, a library and a cafe at the same time. You may sit down with a book and a hot cup of cappuccino and spend a few tranquil hours in this roadside bookshop, with occasional glances through the window on the busy Dhaka streets. Dont worry if you cannot finish your book - you may buy it or save it for another day. Considering that this is predominantly a bookshop, it will be a pleasant surprise to you when you find out that the snacks are rather delicious.There are washrooms and prayer rooms if you need them. A childrens corner with a large collection of childrens book is an added bonus.The staff are friendly, though a bit noisy at times. Shelves are packed mostly with Bengali books, on a good variety of subjects. The only disappointment is that there are not enough English books. All in all, the shop is a peaceful respite.

Its a good place to find a range of Bangla books, but the collection isnt as impressive as Pathok Shomabesh. And if youre thinking youll drop by, read some books while you get a drink, forget it. They take over an hour to make and provide a lemonade. Its also quite stuffy because the ACs and fans are usually turned off
