I was recommended to taste a fruit cake called Ovaltin Cake belongs to Ananda Bakery located at old Dhaka. I searched in the google map and found this Ananda Bakery. BUT THIS IS NOT THE RIGHT ONE that I am looking for. The right one is around 1.7 km away from this and named in google map as Ananda Confectionery.

Ananda Bakery is a very famous bakery in Old Dhaka. They sell variety of products such as cakes including birthday cakes, pan cakes Ovaltine cake, and breads, fast foods items, kabab items, etc. The Old Dhaka special items Bakorkhani, Parata, etc are also being sold by them. There is corner in this bakary where sweet meats items are being sold.

On Ramadan, Its iftar and other food item is very good and tasteful. Even in a comparasm, I found their food Hygenic. Always a huge crowd there in ramadam. When I was a child I used to attend a lots of Kawali Program arranged by them Near Ananda Confectionary on Shatrowja Majar. They have very good sweets and yogurt. For some of my relative, they like their Ovaltine Cakes. One day I orsered their Pizza which was the worst Pizza I have ever tried. One bite was enough for killing all of my hunger. Though staff were bergaining, But the cashier uncle knows me and did not take the money for this.

Ananda Bakery is the name of the traditional bakery of old Dhaka. Cake Biscuit Dry Cake Patties Whatever I say mom why the taste of each item is unique. The price is not too high at hand. Parcel has a very good settlement. Advance orders can be placed. Their packing is beautiful. I have tasted many items of Anand Bakery. Very tasty.
