Very nice place to hang out.A variety of buffet items are at first served singles for gather taste. If any one likes any kind of starter items then that will be served as many times as a person wants.The.main dish comes with Dum Biriyani(with chicken) along with Beef Bhuna, Chicken, Plane Polau etc.The dessert items come with Kulfi first. Then Gazar Halua, Jelapi Gulab Jamun etc are served and these are plenty as per ordered. The overall quality of the food is good enough.Serves quality also satisfied as a fixed person is always ready to take order.Good environment to enjoy quality family time.Though the name is Great Kabab Factory, but I think items of Kababs are very few. There should at least be more than 20 types of kabab items, unfortunately there were not.
If u have heard the expression more sugar is more sweet then u have got the idea. Price is 1364 tk per person. The food is awesome I would say. The number of items is 100+. The restaurant capacity is 120 persons. You can be sure that they are very careful with their service. So I would rate it 9.3 out of 10.
The name says it all. The Great Kabab Factory produces high quality Muglai Kababs as it out of a conveyor belt production. The onslaught of the highly aromatic and tender meat pieces can be a little bit overwhelming due to their pace of arrival. However on speaking to the head chef from India, he informed us that the chain had to changes its style of service in Bangladesh. Whereas their normal style of delivery would be a selection of Kababs coming out at decent intervals, the general masses in Dhaka want their food quick.
Overall good experience but not the best one, in food items ....buffet items...i think nihari is the best one, chicken onion chili is also good, kerala fish item is also tasty, but biriany isnt that okay, the complimentary drink lemon pudina juice is nice one, desert item is very limited. Environment is good and spacious, customer service is also good...overall you can spend your evening here with food and drink with your friends and family nicely.
The great Kabab factory need more kababs in their menu.. Even 600tk buffet stores offer more variations in kabab.Everything is served by the restaurent people & they will serve you in proper manner. But if you want to taste an item multiple times, you have to ask them to serve you that mannerless. Finally, they can serve you a mutton item, if youre hindu, missing multiple beef items. Finally cost doesnt match with tastes & variations.
I will not say the food was very indian. Rather its a blend of bengali spices in a dehli menu. The galauti kabab was not very pleasant to taste. But the malai chicken was just spot on! I am a fan of nehari, but I have tasted better neharis in many roadside food courts compares to this one.The main course was good, specially the dum biriyani. However, other dishes did not stand out that much.I consider deserts as must try items. The rabri with galebi was just great. The simplicity of the kulfi malai just touches the tastebuds in a very memorable way. But the gulab jamun tasted like a burnt desert.Overall, the experience was good. They can revisit their price a bit as the service charge is 10%.
A good upscale dine in heart of Dhanmondi among so many low quality food places recently opened. We went their with our family and enjoyed the good food at a nicely decorated and maintained ambiance. We went for their buffet option and liked their serving concept. Taste and quality of food and kebab items are top notch. The kebab items and desserts were really good. Totally worth the price you pay for. The staffs are really cordial and very well behaved. I recommend this place to people who has good sense of food and care for an upscale environment (not for everyones’ taste, budget and class; not mean to hurt anyone). Very well behaved staff and chef !
A great place to have classic Indian cuisine - that includes but not limited to varieties of beef, chicken and mutton kebab items. The behavior of the staffs is very professional and you’ll be asked multiple times regarding food taste and whether you need anything else during your dine in by the staffs. The food is a bit costly but - considering the taste, environment and service - this seems quite legitimate to me.
Excellent did. The kebabs are good. But expensive though. Their buffet offers huge items. In veg course I think during on table buffet they should offer at least 2 more curries on main course. But actually their kebabs are very mouth watering. Ambience is nice and waiters are very friendly. Al together good to have a family get together their spent time while having buffet. But I think the price could be little more reasonable.
I liked this restaurant for its menu, freshness and service. The a-la-carte menu is rich. The dishes are delicious. It is situated in a highrise building where there are other restaurants as well in different floors. Yet, this restaurant stands out. It offers good buffet option as well, and can be a good burgain for the people who prefers to taste large number of items while dining. The buffet price is reasonble but the a-la-carte tariff is on the higher side.
I came here for Table Buffet. In Table Buffet, you can decide whether you will be veg or non-veg.Then they will serve the food to your table. The difference between Regular Buffet & Table Buffet is basically nothing. The items are fewer in Table Buffet than Regular Buffet but tastier & I think thats worthy. In buffet, you can never expect tasting all the food & the foods are also cold. But in Table Buffet, all the foods are hot & fresh. They will give you a welcome drink which is lemon mint & believe me,it’s very refreshing.Water is included in this buffet but in case of other cold drinks you have to pay extra.Every item was good but personally I liked Murgh Malai Tikka,Lukhnow Paya Beef Nihari,Gulab Jamun,Jalebi with Rabri,Signature Kulfi a lot.The Price is around 1264 with vat.You can say,in this price,I can eat two buffet. But I assure you,you cant compare this with money or low budget buffet. Its a experience.I recommend you to taste here the Table Buffet.In-Sha-Allah,you will not regret.
Worse buffet I have ever eaten. Awfully bad food. Food presentation also very bad. Only their signature golouti kabab and beef bhuna was good. Biryani was tastless. Waste of money. Not recommended.
This is fraudulent. this is not part of the original kebab factory and I dont know who taught them how to make kebabs but this aint it. garbage.
Had the 16th December buffet offer. It was 71 item buffet at 1104 bdt at 16 percent discount. The food quality was good. But the foods were mostly heavy so not place for small stomach.Service was satisfactory. You can book beforehand if you want. The environment was very good. Well decorated diner and cool presentation.
Beautiful Interior with plenty of meat items, made from baked or cooked recipes. Fish item is scarce which is problematic for fish-lovers taste bud. Deserts are tasty but less in number. Neat and clean in general.
This place deserves a solid one star!!! A total waste of BDT 999. Most of the guests were seemingly tech-unsavvy family folks, therefore, the reviews in Google or Yelp presumably don’t reflect the true quality of the restaurant. Half, nearly half of the items were finished and stayed finished. Staffs there repeatedly told us that refills are on the way and to hang on for five minutes at max. However, that five minutes never came. We couldn’t try more than half of items. Not to mention, most of the stews were excessive salty and oily! Desserts were average too.TLDR: don’t go there! They are a scam.
Well known kabab rasturant at DhanmondiKabab quality very goodTaste 8/10Price moderateEnvironment good
The Great Kabab Factory an Indian chain Restaurant in Dhaka...They serve buffet but in a different style like they will serve you the dishes as much as you want, where in maximum buffet restaurants we see we have to take our food by our own...They basically serve the appetizer 1st than main course and than dessert which is in a sense very wish also less waste of Food..They 2 branches in Dhaka 1 is in Jamuna Future Park and another 1 is in Dhanmondi..I have been to JFP a year before and recently visited the Dhanmondi branch well I really like their food also the ambience 😊Its really good to go with your family, the service is very good also the price is also OK for such kind of good food...They will ask you whether you want to have veg menu or non-veg and obviously I took non-veg 😅♻️ First of all they will serve you a welcome drink which was merinda..In appetizer they will serve a chatpapri which tastes great 😍 and than 6 types of Kabab...you can repeat the Kabab as much as you want....I like the gulati kabab most among those 6...♻️ In the main course they served chicken biryani, another chicken item and 2 types of daal,1 vegetable item and 1 beef items also rayta...♻️In desserts they served kulfi, firni, Jalebi, Gajar ka galwa, Gulab jamun and after all these they also ask for masala tea but I was so full couldnt had that tea...Best part of the dessert was those tiny little pressure cooker 😍➡️ The drinks are not included in the buffet menu so we have to buy them separately and I took a mango lassi...🔺️I really love their overall food, services, and ambiance. ▶️Will definitely recommend this place ✔ **specially for Indian food lovers**..Price:1099++ for dinner269++ Mango Lassi ..Place: The Great Kabab Factory (Bangladesh), Dhanmondi, Dhaka.Score:8/10...#foodiesdiarybd
One of the best in town. You can eat their many type kabab. they had well behaviour.
The food was very good,as well as the service,we were stuffed :3
Fantastic...best part about them is their service...food is good too. It a perfect place to hangout and enjoy good food..tried the buffet and i loved it...a must recommended place ..i think its one of the best in dhanmondi at this moment
Delicious, awesome, osthirrr.... I just loved the kababs and other food items. Their service is up to the mark.I also went there in Ramadan time. They dont serve their main dishes during ramadan time. The iftar+dinner buffet was good. Environment and decoration was nice.
The overall taste of food was good. The environment in the restaurant was good too.The items in Kabab section should be increased to match the name ‘The Great Kabab Factory’.I went there to have various types of Kabab, especially ‘shik kabab’. So I was little bit disappointed.
Great environment and service but food quality isnt up to the mark
Enjoyed dinner buffet with friends. The kabab items are good. The beef leg is amazing. Highly recommended.
I will give 5 star. They know manners. Their service is great . And food is really good
The place mostly serves Indian and Mughlai cuisine. I loved their buffet. Taste of every item is distinct specially the gravy items. Though the name suggests that they are specialized in Kababs. Surprisingly their chicken wings also tastes wonderful. Also the Nihari, Gulab Jamun, Jalebi worth mentioning. Among the salad items I liked the Aloo Chat very much. In drinks they only served Mint lemonade with the buffet. I would give it a five star of they could serve lassi.
They have tasty food but the system to serve by messieurs course-wise food confused me as so not know what are coming up!
Chiken kababs with some limited main courses in their buffet. I shall no way mention it to be great, yet overall good experience with food. Value for money? I am not sure..
We had the buffet and there were some really delicious items in the menu. However most of the food had too much salt according to my taste platter. My wife found lesser items salty than me, so salt is individual. Some of the meat was really soft and tender, others were little bit dry. The Chicken Biryani of the day was a letdown for us. However top range food generally.Impeccable service. The staff is really polite (if theyre able to handle the rush). The service, even though it was chaotic atmosphere for them, is the only reason Im giving 5.star. Food 4 star. Good experience.
Price is so high 😊😊 quantity good 😍
Everything but the dal makhani. It tastes bitter.
Awesome..Awesome and Awesome. Love the indian cuisine at its fullest. the attendant s are very cordial. buffet kebab and biriyani. desert is good. specially the gulab jamun and the lau ki halua served in miniature pressure cooker.
Extremely grateful to having there ! Nice place!
Its really good and unique restaurant in Dhaka. Menu are too good, price are reasonable, decorations are out of the world. And the taste of food is heaven. Feels like Im eating in India. The chefs are form India too.A really worth place to visit with family and kids.
Good food n nice environment. Well decorated n lightings are perfect for taking food. Restaurant manager is an Indian and the main chef is also an Indian. They came to us to know if the foods are okay or not, which item we liked best. Aloo roti, chicken hariyali kabab, fish kabab, mutton rogan josh, reshmi jilapi are really good and must try. The best thing about the restaurant is that you wont waste much food due to their table serve buffet.
Food quality is not great! And the service is too slow.
Best Place for Indian CuisineHighly Recommended
Fresh food
One fixed menu for all, which is a great concept in my opinion. Great interior and customer service.
One of the best buffet kabab in Dhaka, this is not typical buffet rather on order unlimited buffet, only short comings are lack of beef and mutton items are very limited
Ambience is good, food is also good but little different in comparison with Bengali teste
Service is excellent but kabab is average, nothing special
The food quality was good and overall staff was friendly as well. Definitely a great place for a buffet and enjoying with friends and family. Only wish the food quality was slightly better and some of them not feel like it they were just reheated in the oven for 5mins
We can enjoy a variety of tasty kebabs and even we can order again and again until we are satisfied
Good food, but little variation
Food is good. Great and quiet environment. But they delayed delivering the food.
The ambient Food was so good and the stuffs and the chef is so well behaved
Overall Kebab & other item was tasty but table food buffet service is too hurry. They should maintain proper intervals in food services
Varaieties of kebabs are available. But variety in items is their specialty, taste is average. Price is little bit high if I consider taste.Their buffet system is little bit boring. They serve one item at a time by their staff on the table. Its not a self service like other buffets. You can ask for as much amount you want though. Waiting time between items sometimes is high.
Great food but the place is conjusted....
Dinner buffet was available only till 9:30, i believe its not enough during summer. And foods were running out and not replaced even during this time.
Food was ok. Initially customer support was ok. Though there name is kabab factory, they dont have any individual kabab menu. They have 2 kabab platter which was not in the menu!!! Also their complete kabab platter contained vegetables items! The wost part was the billing. They priced the regular 15 tk water bottle as 17 tk, then added service charge on top of that and then add vat on top of that!!!!!!When I asked them, their manager said 17 to is including the vat and when I asked them about circular sc and vat on top of that, they couldnt answer me!!!
The buffet is full of tasty kebabs and other items. The complementary welcome drink is very tasty and refreshing. The main dishes were also great. The beef curry was nice and tasty. The deserts were also delightful.
Ridiculous food and too much price for everything.
The items served by them were very tasty and they served as many times as we ordered. This is a buffet where foods are served at your plate. The number of items were not so many. But the taste of the food was really something to remember.
Awesome service...awesome food....awesome experience. Had a family dinner and enjoyed to the fullest.
Good food where dish is served by their own mess waiters. Nice
Too expensive compared to the food variation... And to add to this, I found lamb hair in their biriany, paya and bhuna... Not clean cooking at all
Authentic Indian Restaurant. Paya and Nihari must try.
This buffet gives the exact authentic taste of india....one of the best rated buffet ever
As usual good place for food but super expensive! Balti chat was horrendous but taste of Kababs are excellent! Do not experiment with non-veg Kabab, you will regret it!
Good food, good service from the waiting staff
Very well behaved. Well maintained service.Food is good. But taste depends on taste bud so it varies.
The Kababs were not warm, tasted average.
Half way seems good...best one till now was the nihari
The food was great. Excellent Service and the decoration was amazing too...
Excellent food with great service.
Fine indian cuisine with both veg and non veg options
The head chef is from Lacknow. Amazing flavour in kebabs, great variety. Most spices are brought directly from India.
Above average food, but excellent service. Really unmatched.
Great environment. Food was fabulous. Special buffet served with low price 1000 bdt. Set menu start from 500 bdt. Very tasty Desert served after main course. Staff behaviour is nice. Prayer space available for Muslim. Music provide with low volume. Everything neat and clean. Free wifi. Wheelchair accessible here. Parking lot available in this building. Nice experience.
It is very good for buffet lover. Ites are good and tasty. Environment is nice and clean. Staffs are quite friendly. Food items are really good and fresh. Specially beef items (only available in Ramadan). In Ramadan Buffet price is 1200tk per person. Desert items are delicious. Enjoy food and please dont wasted. #happyfooding
Good enough for non veg people ....no beef ...but nice food.... good place!
I liked their serving style. Their Nihari soup was awesome. Since I am fan of nan, kababs, I liked their items. Their rice items was okay.
Below evarage food quality and not good enough supply of food... The service is not satisfy..
10% HIDDEN SERVICE CHARGE, not mentioned in the menu.Drinks ordered during main course but served with dessert. The food prices are shown like 699++ and guess what do those plus plus mean? First plus means VAT and the second one is for SERVICE CHARGE. And you realise this after paying.I paid 1,013 taka as VAT and Service charge. Service charge 382 taka. If they serve 200 table per day at average 300 taka service charge per table, they are making 18Lac taka extra per month by making people fool.Food taste was average. We paid 4,837 taka for 5 person(not buffet), for this food maximum price should be 1,500 taka.
It was good and the quality of Kabab was fantastic in there and i will say that a good place for going out with family. But sadly i forgot to take pics of the food coz i was lost in the kababs .
Very good exprience. Food was really delicious and flavours are authentic. Best kabab exprience so far.. Service is also very good. Loved it
