Food was ok.Very colorful decoration inside & a giant screen to show live cricket match. Staffs are very well mannered & try to advise the best suitable combo for you.But I am giving it 3 star because they need to improve their toilet quality & hygiene; I mean a lot improvement. Also lights are not properly distributed, so the corner of the restaurant remains in shade.
Quite place. Could have been better as far as enteriors are concerned. Air Condition doesnt seems to work proper. Best thing about the place is its tea. Tastes so different in a good way.
They have started losing their popularity. The food was so salty. Some items were unavailable. And tea was completely cold :-(Not gonna recommend anymore...
This restaurant is closed.
Bad service. Overpriced food. Lack of professionalism.
Just dont go there. Bad food. Worse price.
The chaaps are really good. Could not complain about that. However its a cramped space. You might not get great service if faced with a crowd.
Their dhanmondi branch is closed but their Facebook page says it is there at Almas building. They should focus on the updated information provided to the general mass. Apart from it my prior experience sugggest to try this place at least for once.
Serves really good food, good environment. Good place for hangout with friends.
Worst hygiene, after eating there I feel stomach ache. So i will ask not to go there. Also the waiters are very bad mannered. And thay charge very high -_-
Its a place where you can get better quality of beaf and chicken chap
Ohhh... Mind blowing chap here. Foods are so so tasty also tea.
This place is a pioneer for generating a presentable way for chap and luchi. Before we use to have chap and luchi as a street food in a cart on the street. But chap shamlao is the 1st renowned place for serving beef and chicken chaap in a hygienic way. Their price is little extra than street carts but for health issue its worthy to pay little extra. Their bangla cinema themed interior would increase the joy of staying in the restaurant. One thing wouldbbe good if they serve little faster than now because its tough to wait for the chaap and luchi after order.
The environment is good, very colourful with the traditional rickshaw painting. Food os good.
Good Starting but very small shop
My review is a reflection of their poor customer management. Other things were good
Luchi chaap tea... cheap & good taste
The was the best I ate. And chicken chap wasn’t that good considering the money. But, The tea 👌👌👌
Great place for hangouts, amazing interior, tasty foods & cordial service... loved it
This one is the worst restaurant I have ever visited! Whata waste of money! Their foods are tasteless and way overpriced. Their kebabs are worst in the city. The behaviour of the staffs are hideous. They even chrage you hidden service charge! Never faced such atrocities! Only one thing good about this aweful restaurant is their Cha which is also ridiculously overpriced. I wish I could give a minus five rating. DONT WASTE YOUR LIFE AND MONEY useless you are already suicidal
Very Creative environment and Delicious foods, specially bibir biriani :)
They dont support any kind of card(visa, mastercard, nexus). Air conditioning was very bad. Food was below average. Very much disappointed...
Nice environment and foods. Decoration is awesome but a little bit crowdy because of space.
Its a nice restaurant and its traditional decoration made it theme restaurant.
After Rabindra Sarobar, this is one of the best place to go for chaap (smashed chicken/beef). The interior theme takes inspiration from Bangla cinematic universe and bangla movie dictums are written all over the place. The menu is a bit constrained but the price is affordable. During Ramadan, the place becomes clogged with people and the service gets extremely slow. You have to call the waiters multiple times for ordering items or for the bill payment slip. The amount of food is on the shallower side but the quality wont disappoint your taste buds. Dont forget to try out the chicken chaap.
It have a special tea...too good
Soya chaap is a dish originating in South Asia where it is popular, like in India and Pakistan. It is traditionally small pieces of soya baked using skewers in a clay oven called a tandoor after marinating in spices and yogurt- essentially a vegetarian take on tandoori chicken tikka.
The chaap isnt really good. Some of the other meat dishes however are nice.
Nice food and environment
Went to last night with family for their bibir biriyani, I must say its better. But didnt understand why they called it Biriyani rather than theheri. Anyways, the presentation is good, services are okay.Inside walls are to wired to filled with (popular!?)bangla cinemar dialog.Their other items like chap which i eat before was very testy.
Simple eating space, good food, okay service
Overrated but tastes good
Uniquely decorated interior in the theme of Bangladeshi theme. The food is alright.
The best chaap in the city.
Good for beef chap and that tea in clay pot
Nice restaurant with interesting decoration
Environment is Good enough but too conjugated. Quantity is not enough.
A more upscale place than Abul hotel.
Fresh kabab and nice tea....

Ya its in Dhanmondi 15 no opposite of carey plaza & all their foods are really awesome
Very tasty kababs and chap
U will find very testy and crispy fried food there.
Not that real taste of street side CHAP , but if your priority is hygiene before taste then this is your place
Expensive price with poor quality food...

# Its really hard to handle stress! If it takes too much after ordering, it takes 10 minutes, their style of serving is unique! These ten minutes can be spent comfortably reading the dialogues on the wall and reminiscing about childhood ....Now lets talk about food! The first thing that comes to mind after giving food is mustard oil. Understandably, most foods are cooked in delicious mustard oil. Although Jhal Lovers are disappointed, Jhaj Lovers have no chance to be disappointed. The presence of meat in the biryani here is enough. I have never eaten Maruf Biryani but today it seems that if the amount of meat is more than that, it will not be biryani but meat curry. Not to mention the occasional little potato in the meat and biryani, these were pretty good. With a taste of stress and quite! One of the must try type or best type can be called ...The atmosphere is peaceful, the crowd is not so much without occasion, at the same time the waiters use and amiable. To sum it up in numbers:Taste of food: 9/10.Pricing rate: 8/10. (Drinks keep the price extra, so cut 3)Environment: 9/10.Amount: 8/10 (Not enough for eaters.)Thanks.(Courtesy: Foodbank)
And it is a different kind of restaurant than the ten types of restaurants. Their earthen cup tea serving is quite good and different but the price is relatively high. Their set iftar menus are quite good during the month of Ramadan.
Went to Iftar. Bad experience. The size of the luchi and pressure was too small, the biryani was disgusting. There was nothing like what I saw in the picture. Only the tea was a little better. Although the amount is very small, the price is 50 / - !!!! The bill of the two was around 800 rupees, the quality of the food was 100 rupees. Annoyed 6
