Our kids enjoyed a lot. They are excited to see all animals, birds and snakes on zoo. They saw them on books and when they see it by infront of their eyes. They really got excited. Bangladesh national zoo is a good place for kids and also for nature lovers. Its a very big area and have lots of animals, birds and plants.

One of the oldest zoo and yet full of natural resources such as trees, lakes, and wide varieties of wild animals. Its been well maintained by authority. The worst side is to mention, tourist throwing there wastes everywhere and irritating animals by throwing stones, poking with sticks. I would like to humbly request to all people who are or will be visiting this place, DO NOT LITTER/THROW YOUR WASTE EVERYWHERE EXCEPT DUSBINS and DO NOT DISTURB WILD ANIMALS. Used to be a better place a long time ago. But several places inside this park is closed to the public which is very disappointing.

Few days back I have visited this Zoo. Absolutely this is the largest zoo and I think this is a perfect place to take refreshment. Many species of birds and animals are collected here. But as a National Zoo its expected to keep more species than now. And see some parts are corrupted and hope authority should repair soon. Among all, I fascinated to see the Macaw parrot also environment of the Lake was so pretty to capture thyself.

I was amazed you see the new car parking there. Now self driven cars have a secure spot to park.few good changes that I notice as I went after 7-8yrs. Very clean, animals looked well fed and stuffs seemed friendly. Still ice cream and chips are much expensive then outside.

First of all we were thinking that the zoo will be dirty and was not sure about the place as we went there approx 8 or 9 years ago. But surprisingly it was quite worth it to pay a visit. Tho somewhere it stinks for not cleaning the animals but Overall we enjoyed there. Many animals were bought up and they were kept in a quite good place. Varieties of species were seen. Tie you sneakers and be ready to walk all the way to enjoy the beautiful animals.

Just a few days ago, I visited the national zoo,and I have to admit that it was an amazing place.But just a few things to notice that the amount of animals has decreased significantly during the lockdown last year.But to be truly honest, its still an amazing place to visit and go on for a picnic if people wants.

It is always a nice place to visit with kids and minors. Though development works are going on, still much more attention to be paid, specially for the cages of Lions, Tigers and Bears. It becomes difficult for the kids to see and enjoy the animals. The entrance fee per person has suddenly been increase to Taka 50 from Taka 30. Authority may rethink the matter.Above all, it’s a very good place in Bangladesh to visit.

Its good place to spend time with family. During visit we shouldnt disturb those animals. Its impact on them. During corona I got the scope to visit it and I saw they are very much charming but when it was open I didnt find them like this. I would request all dont disturb them when you visit them.

Recently the zoo authority started selling deer and peacocks to the people as they had good production during the lock down.

You should keep minimum 3 hours to vist this place. Entry fee is Tk.50 per person, child under 2 years will get free entry. Foods from outside is not allowed. They have cafeteria inside the zoo, managed by Bangladesh Parjatans Corporation.

I have visited total 2 or 3 times. But this time environment is too fresh, no bad smell, tolerable crowd.Authority should arrange the facility of mineral water.Every Sunday Zoo closed.

Corrupted zoo!!!! though the animals were not malnourished but yet they were not cared all the animals were so gloomy not energetic at all the tiger , bear and lions were only sleeping they dont even roar !!!! The cages stink you cant even go near them because of their foul smell and many cages were empty and the aquarium was disgusting !!! The only animal in the whole zoo seemed energetic were the deers!
