I used to be a student at this institute back in 1992. The institute has been significantly improved since then. Teaching of the institute is not that bad but most of the students are not consistently serious. At the beginning almost everyone is serious but after two semester most of the students lose their patience. But if someone works hard and have patience then he or she can expect a good career.

The Institute of Cost and Management Accountants of Bangladesh (ICMAB) is a self-governed repository from where Bangladesh has been awarded the Professional Coast Accountant Certificate. The pratisthan is conducted under the auspices of the Ministry of Commerce of Bangladesh. Its activities are operated from the ICMA building of Dakanyil area. In addition to Dhaka, there are branches of Chittagong, Comilla and Rajshahi. Every year, an average of 50-70 students receive professional degrees from here. Three sessions a year are tested in April, August and December. The organization is a member of the International Federation of Accountants, Confederation of Asian and Pacific Accountants, and South Asian Federation of Accountants.
