We stayed there in Jan 2020 and had a fabulous time. The hospitality is amazing. The farms, the haveli rooms, the food, staff, everything is so brilliant that you want to stay long. We still cherish those days. Hope to be there again. Special thanks to Krutarthsinghji.

The host of Devpur homestay is very resourceful and welcoming person. He can arrange a cab or a bike for hire at a moments notice. The breakfast is served hot and yummy. The room is very well kept and has an amazing view. Deserves a five star if not for the size of the bed. I found the bed rather narrow and short given that I am a tall person. If you are more than 6 be careful not to bump your head on the entrance.

Very pleasant stay. We were graciously welcomed by Mr. Jadeja. The place is almost 100 years old but it is still properly maintained. The rooms were nice and tidy and so properly decorated with potpourri and lots of books. I was really touched by such gesture of the host. They have a school inside the premises and the kids from neighborhood come there to study. I heard anyone can opt for volunteering there which is amazing.I enjoyed every bit of moment there and captured as many moments as possible through my lense.

Very nice place to stay. Best homestay I have ever stayed in. Thanks to Mr & Mrs Jadeja for making the trip memorable. Always ready to help with anything. The best part was school named The White Eagles. Its very satisfying to watch kids. Took me to my childhood days. Very nostalgic. The village is also very peaceful and distant from hustle and bustle of city. Enjoyed the stay. Cant ask for more.

Awesome homestay! Mr. Jadeja and his team of hosts are extremely humble and the hospitality surpassed our expectations. The Haveli is quite old (1905AD) and really well maintained. Lots of antique items to observe and the architecture is really well preserved. The tents are good enough for 2 persons and the farmstay rooms are good for a family of 3-4 people. All the modern amenities are available in the rooms.Lovely morning views with lots of birds in the 10 acre farm.Dont miss this location if youre visiting Bhuj!

If you dont see Kutch, you dont see anythingDevpur Home Stay-Arvind GadaDuring a trip to Kutch last week, when it came to Devpurs home stay, everyone in a small village like Devpur in Kutch grumbled about what the home stay would be like, but our colleagues niece insisted on staying at Dev, so Sahu accepted it. However, even on the road, everyone was blabbering on. Mine tooWhen we reached Devpur at about ten oclock at night we did not know that a royal family would greet us with flowers and tilak. Of course, five-star hotels have such a welcoming practice, but it is only a formality. While here the guest appeared to be the spirit of Devo Bhava and that too by a royal family.Rajasaheb himself was garlanding all the guests and tilak Raja Sahebs sweet, thirteen year old Padminiba! When I put 500 rupees in the hands of Padminiba as per my ritual, I did not know that I was daring to put this small amount in the hands of the princess of Devpar Jagir. Well done! I was so proud of my daughter! The whole ceremony took place in the dining room. Meanwhile, glancing around the room, the first thing I noticed was the bookcase. Of course there are books in Vidashs home stay but I did not expect a bookcase in Devpur. The mind was filled with rage. At the same time nice painting frames were adorning all the walls. The hand-drawn bird frames in it were simple yet wonderful. And on one wall was a vivid picture of a majestic Sannari. The king said to eat and with his own handGave plates to Sahu. However we still know whenWas not that Kutch Maharaja Shri. Pragmalji IIIs right hand man, Devpar Jagirs Maharaja Shri Kritarthsinh Jadeja lovingly gives a plate to the guest with his own hand! This is a big deal. In the villages of Kutch, there are courts with the surname Jadeja. But those Jadejas consider Kutch as Bapiki Jagir, believing that they are the lords of the village, behaving recklessly and harassing and intimidating others. And this true Raja Saheb was a living example of humility, behaving in a very humble and noble manner.Tired so we all arranged in our respective rooms. My destination was the farm room. Wooden floor, neatly crafted, artistic frames as well as back coffee table books, reading lights, three single beds in each room, not just a small torch but a candle and matches near the torch - Afrin! And a clean and tidy bathroom. And particularly noteworthyLarge glass on the wall after a height of four and a half to five feet in the bathroom. And the trees behind the glass and the vast sky behind the trees. I was reminded of the Tingle Creek Hotel (I dont remember the name of the place), a small six or eight room hotel in Scotland. While sleeping, Raja Sahebs noble personality was revealed on Facebook to know more about Raja Saheb and the picture of that majestic Sannari that he saw was none other than Raja Sahebs 39-year-old wife Yashodhara Ba in 2017. The mind was filled with depression.Raja Sahebs father Shri Mahipat Singh Jadeja, who studied at Oxford, founded the English Medium - The White Eagle School in the Durbar Garhman of Devpur 25 years ago. Raja Saheb still runs it today.Early the next morning, the sun still roseThere was no fluttering of birds. The light that was being revealed was trying to dispel the darkness. A nice mango orchard was floating outside the window. I inevitably came down the stairs. And I saw thousands of mango trees floating in the mango orchard. Surya Narayan, who was rising in the sky, made a wonderful rangoli. The movement of birds had begun. I can say for sure that this farm of Maharaja of Devpur is the only reason to stay at Devpur Home. The journey was to continue so Cum left the farm and returned. A servant called for tea near the dining room downstairs.I saw Raj Kapoors coffee table book which was written by Bani Ruben and its prologue was written by my dear Zubin Mehta. It was nine oclock when I looked at the book and talked to my friend.
