We had a 2 days stay at Bottlebrush. All in family were very happy there and had a very pleasant experience. Mr. Praful, the host was very courteous and helpful with any information we needed. The walk to tea plantation along with him was the main attraction of the stay and we could get some great views of Munnar. The maintenance and facilities of the homestay is at par with any good hotel. The homely breakfast was really tasty. I would recommend this place for anyone who is looking for a peaceful stay with family.

We were in a missing mode now,that much addicted to the atmosphere and hospitality of bottlebrush,we never feel like we are out for holidays,it feel like its our home. Homely food are their signature one as well the friendly attachment too. They will give a proper idea on how to utilise our days thereWe visited Munnar lots before but this was the ever place to be such beautiful. What can I say about this elegant home stay where everything was so orderly. Really enjoyed the peaceful stay, hospitality, food and serene ambience,.Booked executive room and it was upgraded to Premium with homely breakfast.It was one of the few places where covid protocols where strictly followed.It was the first time i have come across Homedtsy that is so well maintained.Overall a great experience especially for the property and food and courteous and helpful person and great place to stay in devikulamWith love ameer&sai❤️

Beautiful and calm space for families specially. I enjoyed my stay with my wife here. The owner was so friendly and made us feel like home .The food was really delicious. He arranged a bunch of small surprizes which was more happiness added to our trip. The tea estate beside the property is so calm and quiet which was away from all the fuss in Munnar. Do contact them on their number well before your trip dates as there is a huge demand of the place and it is generally booked for all days. Beautiful place to stay, amazing view near by (at 50 meters distance). We never guessed on the other side of hill station there was blanket of Tea estate with sun rise view. It was just amazing. Quality of Home stay is 5/5, Break fast 5/5, dinner from adjacent hotel 5/5. Munnar was 6/5. Munnar to Bengaluru journey 7/5 misty, foggy ghat section road with small water falls here and there. Truly Kerala is called Gods own Country.
We booked this homestay by seeing a review by one of their clients on Facebook. Unlike many other places which really do not stay true to what we read in the reviews, Bottlebrush is a place which delivers 101% of everything just as we read in that review. Bottlebrush is located away from the hustle and bustle of Munnar town which gives us the perfect peaceful atmosphere to enjoy our holidays.The first thing well always remember is how the host welcomes and take care of their guests. The host Mr Praphul (our Praphul chettan) and his family made sure that we feel comfortable just like our home. The hospitality and the way they treat the guest stays true to the word homestay. There wont be any single moment which will feel like we are staying at someone elses place.Mr Praphul put extra efforts to help us with all our needs. Even when our car got punctured on the second day morning, he immediately gave us the contact of the nearby mechanic which was a great help to us. He also shared us a great itinerary which included a morning walk/trekking in the beautiful tea estate near the premises. The morning walk and the view of the sunrise in the middle of greenery is something which we cannot explain in words. It was one of the best moments of our trip. We always felt safe and secure during our stay.The rooms are spotless, hygienic and well maintained. The view from the room to the tea estate is soothing for the eyes. Breakfasts served were yummy with a true homely taste. Bottlebrush was indeed a home away from home for us. Well definitely choose Bottlebrush when we think of another trip to Munnar. If you are visiting Munnar, youll not find a better place for your stay other than Bottlebrush. We can assure you that!!

A trip with family to a never seen place at this pandemic situation is so doubtful.Whether we will be safe through out the journey?How neat and hygienic shall be the stay?The food, hospitality and what more!!But the trip to munnar on last December 19th of 2020 came out magical. Perfect weather, the sceneries, munnar is a beauty queen...We were 3 couples with two kiddos and was so cautious in selecting a perfect place for the stay and luckily we got into the Bottle brush tea side home stay owned by Mr praphul. Such an awesome man you should meet, so positive and you will definitely feel like home away from home, which is what a traveling family expect. Food was so delicious and the service is just perfect.The sunrise you see from the tea plantation which is so near to the stay will blow your mind out.. so happy and looking forward to be there again..

Perfect hill-station stay one can wish for!!The hotel is slightly away from the hassle and bustle of the main Munnar town which is perfect for tourists like me seeking peace and relaxation. The view from the hotel is nice. And, the rooms are very clean and well equipped. The wi-fi connection was also good. The hotel owners are very friendly, helpful and kind-hearted. The hotel has a beautiful tea-estate near its premises and is a nice place to visit early morning. The food, the camp-fire, the scenic view, everything was amazing. The stay was worth every penny. One cant ask for anything more.I really wish to go back to this place. Just cant get enough of it. Thanks for everything Bottlebrush!!

Super cordial and well mannered owner. Each time you come back strolling, youll find Praphul, the owner welcoming you with genuine PRAPHULLAM. He himself serves breakfast, dinner etc with inimitable hospitality, always available for your need.3. The location is truly TEASIDE STAY, adjacent to the teas estate surrounded by hillocks...sheer morning walk would be a total paisa wasool. The property has numerous fruit bearing plants, flowers which are aliens to plain area people.4. Breakfast is delicious and best among south Indian dishes. We got uppum & supersoft idli in 2 days stay. Dinner is north Indian style. Here, Praphul should add one south Indian desert besides one more dish. I also recommend praphul to keep a spare room for all drivers to accommodate them at freezing night at a nominal rate ..as a service to humanity.All the best..have pleasant stay.

However the moment you leave the city and move towards Devikulam and Bottlebrush, it is a different scene altogether. Away from the hustle bustle of city of Munnar, just 20 minutes away, gives you the glimpses of what Mother Nature has to offer.Bottle Brush, being an 80 years old property, is highly maintained & perfectly nurtured by Mr. Praphul & family.Just on the footsteps of never ending tea garden, it gives perfect view to the residents from their rooms.Above all the true hospitality of Mr. Praphul makes the stay truly memorable.The home cooked food offered by Bottle Brush is icing on the cake.I have never seen such genuine & hospitable nature of any owner ever in my any other stays.We were two families with two kids those visited the property.Just because of warmth & courtesy extended by Bottle Brush we extended one more day of our stay.We are truly thanful to Bottle Brush & Mr. Praphul for giving us the lifetime memories.Highly recommended tor all travellers & nature lovers.Happy Travelling.
We have visited the home stay on 26th of this month. It is very comfortable both cost and quality. Very neat and clam place. Morng walk through tea plantation was very awesome..... Highly recommend to stay those who were going to munnar.....

Simply, you won’t find any homestay as good as Bottlebrush from Devikulam or Munnar. A trip to Munnar basically targeting the cold climate and quiet atmosphere. There are many premium hotels in Munnar that give you the superior comfort and premiumness. Choose Bottlebrush for the perfect ambience and hospitality. Only homestays can give the unique feel that we are anticipating from a place like Munnar. By the way, Devikulam is comparatively colder than Munnar even in summer season. The owner, Praphul chettan, has good knowledge about the places to visit near Munnar and Devikulam.
