This viewpoint offers mesmerizing views of the valleys of the mighty Western Ghats! Best time to visit is during monsoon and post-monsoon seasons, when there is absolute greenery everywhere. The Google Maps directions is pretty accurate. One can drive a car up till here and do a short 5-10 minute hike to reach the viewpoint. It says the closing time is 6 PM, but we reached there just a few minutes before 6 PM and stayed there for half an hour or so.
Excellent and Panoramic view. Beautiful place, no commercialization of the place, very less people..very cool breeze and you are almost touching the sky.. Govt needs to plant more trees to enhance the ecology of location...
Devarmane View point is famous for Sunset as per locals, but we visited during morning and it was a good spot, you get to see the valley view and the multiple hills. Sunset view from here should be good. This seemed to be place which will be commercialised pretty soon and even though there was no facilities as such other than the vast open spaces where we could park our cars/bikes, there was a security collecting parking charges which is nothing but loot and exploiting visitors.
Amazing place... Have complete half day plan for spending the time there on top..People should avoid throwing plastic items and contaminate the place.. It has 2 ways to reach... Both are adventurous routes..Near by there is Kala Bhairava temple.. Which seems to be very old temple..
We got hit by fog and rain. The raindrops were so fierce that they were hitting like tiny bullets from a machine gun. Amazing fun of the monsoon. For people who want to avoid the crowd of Mulayangere, may try here.
Very good place.. known for sunset view.. unfortunately we had cloud cover so could not see the sunset view. The road leading to the place is also beautiful.
This place was very cold and foggy,. Suggest you to visit in the noon or in the morning when the sun is visible, so you can see where youre going otherwise youll definitely have a hard time trying to reach the viewpoint or the temple, I honestly had a hard time reaching to the temple and the viewpoint due to the amount of fog hogging upon us!. But after we reached the point it was honestly one of the best views of my life, visited the temple and the poojari was very kind with us and told us the back story of that place and the temple, and got to know that the devermane temple is almost over a 1000 years old!!!! And also went to the devermane canteen and since we had no signal the locals and the workers there told us the way out, and it honestly had better roads then the one on Google maps,. A must visit place!!... Youd want to visit again
Roads are good. U can see sunrise if ur lucky enough if there are no clouds. Beautiful view point with least crowd. Its not crowded at all. U can drive directly here and walk for 500 metres.
This one is a easy climb, there is paid parking for your vehicle at the base, best to visit for sunrise/sunset, roads leading upto the peak is not great some broken patches here and there, but easily manageable, there is a kaalabhairava temple next to it, you come across some beautiful coffee plantation on the way.
Best place to visit in season. My humble request to everyone is that please maintain cleanliness and if possible clean the place and enjoy the view.
Beautiful and one of the most mesmerising places in Karnataka.. You wont get bored of the scenery how much ever you watch.. one can drive vehicles near the top.. have to walk some distance on top of hill and you can walk from one top to another if there are clouds.. its hot if you go in the afternoons.. but rainy seasons are amazing if there is no fog covered.. dont throw plastic wastes or bottles in the top, try to keep it clean, just enjoy the nature and dont try to harm it.. there will be parking fee of 50₹ for 4 wheeler and 20₹ for two wheeler..
A very beautiful and medium trekking range. We took the off route and was like having my own paradise.
Its an Awesome place....cool environment....breezy hill point ..just loved the place ✨🌝😍...ders a temple near d Foothill...best place ❤️
Beautiful scenic view with numerous hills around! You can see many mountains around when you reach the peak, all around. This hills trekking is pretty easy, the gradient increases slowly and there is nothing steep hill climbs along the way. Even children can do this climb very easily.Tips-1) From Mudigere to here, you wont find much places if you are hungry in between. But once you reach the base of this hill, you will find couple of small hotels to snack on.2) Dont forget to carry hats, since you wont find any trees on this hill and if you are going on a sunny day, you will definitely regret not carrying it.
Nice place.
Extraordinary view point. Dont miss to visit this place during monsoon
Its wonderful, amazing place, nature beauty, looks heaven come to earth, especially rainy season crazy view 😍☔.. Need to raid 10 to 15 KM inside, view point is just 500mtr away from parking. Small 2 petty shops available.. Yes! With crazy friends day will be memorable.
Breath taking place with green mountain all around, its single lane road to reach there but worth visiting, try to reach there before noon to enjoy greenery view else go around evening to enjoy sunset
The view is good and if u get a perfect weather then you will enjoy the route as well.
Beautiful.. the cyclonic clouds did make the valley play hide n seek with some drizzles..
No words🤐. You can see why? in picture 🥰
Devaramane is such a beautiful place. Its good to visit your place in the early morning or evening when its not sunny to enjoy the beauty of the hills. You can go far a trek as long you want but its that much tiring. We can also see the charmadi ghat section from far. A series of mountains is definitely a treat to eyes. We traveled from chikmaglur via mudigere and the ride ride was awesome through the coffee Plantations. If you visit this during mansoon season you will really see the natures wonder. Very very nice place to people who love nature and want to stay close with nature.
If u wanna enjoy den go in particular timings,. Dont go in rainy seasons ,.Carry a rain 🧥🌧️
Beautiful and scenic place..lush green and heavenly clouds

At peak of the hill you will be most thrilled to watch sunset view.
Its Literally one satisfying view. Can spend hours looking into the depths. Make sure you dont skip this place.A MUST SEE.You can get Maggie and chips at the bottom of the hill. There is a small tea shop.Make sure to reach here by 7am or 8am
Quite literally, heaven. Sit on the hills, amidst the clouds, surrounded by greenery, and youll forget the world! Dont forget to keep your phones away, maybe after a few shots for your memory album. The ride to this place is beautiful too, be it with friends, or family! Cant wait to go back here!
Beautiful place!!One can easily hike to the top of the hill.
Must visit place. Offers a great view and best experience.
One of craziest and lovely places in Karnataka. An amazing view point, entire place is covered with mist. It’s a must visit place when u are around Mudigere. There are lot of options to stay near to this place. And if u r a trekking lover then it’s the right place, as there are so many small mountains. It’s a best place for nature lovers, I loved this place very much and would love to visit again. The best time to visit this place is in monsoon and winter.
One of the best place around. Peaceful.
Very nice place. If youre visiting during rainy season, pls carry rain coat. :) We had a good view while reaching this spot but at the top it was raining continuously till we left. :)
One of the best views of western Ghats
Must visit at evening 🤩 a foggy weather makes u feel awesome
Place is good. If visited before sunrise itll be very good. The trekking is also like 15 mins . But the view is very exciting one. Devaramane , pandavara betta is near by.
Fantastic place to be in natural serenity . you can spend hours here from morning to evening relaxing on the peak . Dont forget to take timelapse
Beautiful place and if it snows its comparable to swiss alps except for the plastic littered all over the place, illiterate people throwing plastic bottles and chips packets, people having their home packed lunch and then discarding the plastic irresponsibly. There should be a ban on carrying any form of plastic and people should be informed to return the plastic bottles of water back to the bins situated near the base of the climbing trail.Other than that its a beautiful place and worth visiting anytime other than the monsoon seasons in the western ghats which is usually during may to July. there have been a few instances of landslides enroute and roads damaged. If you are the adventurous kind then rainy season is the best to visit.
Breathtaking experience. The scenery is marvellous. One can enjoy the clouds with lush green mountain valleys. The vibe is so serene and divine. The is also a small pond nearby with temple and a well. The well has many coins in it , looks like many has put a coin with a wish on it !!! Overall , amazing place to spend a couple of hours. suggested time is eveing . The place is near to Mudigere and Kottigehara. Nearest hotels , petrol bunks and other commodities are available at Mudigere. One can plan here for post monsoon season for best experience
Absolutely stunning views and very easy trek to the viewpoint. Roads are not good so plan accordingly.

If you want to enjoy the view and the location, either be their by early morning or evening by 4 or 5. Temple and the lake has good Atmosphere. In the food stalls over there, you can get Dosa, bajji , bonda and some snacks. Nice place to chill out with friends. Be cautious with cows over there.

Wonderful experience. There are many hills, you can climb on whichever you like. We went in July, the fog keeps coming and going. One minute you couldnt see any of the hills in front of you,in the next minute, it will all clear up. It is nature at its best.
Beautiful view just be a bit early to get the fog view on the mountain top.
Its very calm and peaceful, view is superbbb .
Green is heaven.. being human we should make it world more green...

In love with this place. There are many hills nearby and many entry point. The one with temple and stairs is mostly crowded. We took the road less taken and visited on weekday, so no one other than us. We thoroughly enjoyed the sunrise and complete scenic view.

Nice place for some relaxation and free of mind......
Amazing!
In mansoon it feels like a heaven on the earth..
Its most beautiful place I have seen near Sakleshpur. The view is breathtaking. Better than any view points. Carry umbrella as it rains in a minute and gets sunny in a minute.
