Very old temple and from decades the old system of quarallings on dasara festival is continuing even police officials and revenue department is doing hard work to stop the activity. Nearlyb13 villages people will participate in that fight . Regularly from different parts of the AP and Karnataka people will visit on dasara evening here.

I have seen around 30 unique festivals, Jatra etc till date. Each and every one of those festivals are special.But the Banni Utsava at this Temple is special among those special festivals.It is held on Vijaya Dashami night. It starts around 11 PM and goes on till next day morning.Be there around 6PM it self to get a proper place for viewing.Around 1500+ police manage a crowd of nearly 1 lakh people.Not advisable to bring small children because of huge crowd.May God bless you all.
