Stayed with my family with2 kids for 2 nights. Excellent place for relaxation. Mesmerizing scenic views and great climate. Enjoyed activities like zip line and Nature walk. Food was excellent. Kids loved riding in the resort owned vehicle which was Isuzu pick up truck modified with additional seats in open. They also enjoyed play area. Hill top cottage Rooms were very comfortable and cozy. Overall it was an excellent stay in Wild planet.

Wild Planet - What a stay it has been ! 4 of us spent last weekend over at the resort. Right from the road leading to the resort through adventurous tracks, tea plantations, the vegetation to reaching the property reception to the cottages, it was a beautiful experience. The staff was very courteous, always coming up with suggestions on what all could be done to make the best out of our stay. The food was excellent with great spread across all courses. The ever changing views from the cottages throughout the day, sometime cloudy, rainy or a clear sky gave an amazing feeling. One shouldnt miss the trek in the morning and the nature walk in the evening. In addition, there are other fun activities as well. Do visit the place for an experience to cherish !
The resort is located in the one of the beautiful hills. The entire resort is so beautifully crafted in between tea plantations and jungle. Rooms are very well placed with almost all room have good view. The best part is that the resort contains so many activities and we never felt bored during our three nights stay. Kids enjoyed every single day. Good part is they pick us from the parking and take care all our transport using resort vehicle.Next best part is restaurant who has been serving fabulous food, everyone from the reception till waiter in restaurants, housekeeping staff all of them were very polite and supportive for each and every need. Special thanks to drivers who pick and drop us across the resort without thinking a second.I am just waiting for my next visit.
Rooms and aminities are good. Really we had a very nice and tasty food in the resort. Both vegetarian and non-vegetarian foods are nice. We are engaged with the activities. My kids had a nice experience. staff are very friendly. Room service is good. Only difficulty is that around 15 Km before the resort, road is very muddy and difficult to drive. Overall We had very enjoyable days.

We stayed for 4 days at wild planet ,devala. We were asked to reach resort before 6 pm as resort is located between lush rainforest and tree plantations. The ride upto the resort was adventurous in a jeep. We stayed at luxury pavillion which was a luxurious jungle themed well architectured room near the rain forest with everything from hair dryer to fridge airconditioner and daily bowl of fruits. We walked through a sturdy well lit bridge to the dining area. The food at the restaurant was mixture of Kerala and tamilnadu delicacies, they were to die for ... We looked forward to every meal and snack. The restaurant staff - liju narendran and others made us feel at home attending to our needs at every Beck and call.Ashok fernandez the resor manger is able ,responsible and a multitasking person who made our stay a pleasure from, Check in to check out. The activities team - Manoj ,shyam , Mani were extremely friendly and helpful in trekking kayaking and zipline . Dont fail to try the zipline,its not scary as it seems.the buggy service with jeeps were also prompt to ship us around the resort. Wild planet is a must visit place if u are looking for relaxing fun holiday with family and friends . The staff are extremely courteous and friendly. Five star rating to the food . Looking forward to our next trip to wild planet .
It was my third time stay here, was excellent n kept their standards high. My sons bday was organised beautiful n was special. Food amazing as usual , sure to gain two kilos. It was by far the best experience we have had. The rooms are well appointed, the staff is very helpful and kind - but the place itself is out of this world. The views from the room are beyond spectacular. The hanging bridge, the lake, the rainforest are all just awesome. You will not miss being on your phone - you cannot be glued to your phone as there is no signal anywhere except in the reception area.The only downside is the drive up to the resort. The last 5 km stretch took us close to an hour to drive. There is no road - just rocks. After an hour of extremely demanding drive you will be rewarded with the best staycation. Go for it.
Overall... Heaven on Earth...Jungle walks... astounding... breathtaking...Trekking... Mind boggling...Food... world class...Activities... brings out the wild in you...Swimming... missed it due to Vivid restrictions... Will be back to experience this again...Rooms... A pleasant stay except the road that leads to the destination. Found it very difficult to drive especially when vehicle comes from opposite direction. Otherwise, good food, friendly staffs, activities, location and great experience.
Stayed here for two nights with family. And the experiance was one of a kind. Excellent location, room was great, food was awesome 👌 and the hospitality was commendable too. In all it was a trip to remember.Loved the rain forest walk and trekking.The only issue I faced was the drive up to the parking lot of the resort from the highway. It was narrow and broken. Very difficult for a two way traffic and I dont recommend to take a sedan up there as it will need serious servicing.
We celebrated our first anniversary at wild planet jungle resort. We had a great time there. Staffs were very polite and friendly especially Mr.Ashok Fernandes who coordinated with us. A special mention about the food. Every single meal was awesome. Keep it up guys. We would definitely visit back..
Out of the world experience, one could easily call it heaven on earth. Located between tropical rain forest and tea valleys, this place offers everything a nature lover and an adventure seeker would ever dream of. The staff here are very friendly, place is hygienic and well maintained. Must try activities here are trekking, rain forest walk and zipline.The drive from Devala town to this place is a 45 min off road drive, single lane narrow road with cliff on one side and valleys on the other side. One needs to be an expert driver before venturing out here. When a vehicle approaches from the opposite side, the only option for drivers is a reverse turn. Practise reverse turn on ghat roads before driving on these terrains.

Well maintained and isolated property.Hospitality is one of the main reason they will make you come back.Staffs were extremely courteous and polite. We had a great stay at wild planet. The resort is located amidst nature and the hospitality was really good. The staff guided us well. The nature activities provided by the resort was amazing. The room was neat and clean. Food menu was great. will strongly recommend to nature lovers and families who need to relax themselves. They also provide activities to kids.
I visited the resort along with my parents and daughter for a couple of days in Aug. The setting of the resort is truly beautiful, cleanliness is amazing. The buffet spread was quite wide with choices for all ages. Me and my daughter enjoyed the activities, though for my parents it was a bit boring as theres not much for senior citizens. Pls look into this. The rooms are quite comfortable and luxuriously made. The litup bridge at night is truly a signature piece. I would specially like to mention the rain forest walk with Mr Mahesh, hes truly a gem

The chef had enquired with us about the food that was a good gesture.. 😍😍😍 The front office people was also very polite 💕💕💕feed the fish was a tremendous experience We loved it🥰🥰🥰Trekking was a wonderful experience for the children.. they had a very memorable experience in jipline and in floating bridge... It was a world disconnected from outside world. Unfortunately when we went it was raining all the days and we couldnt experience their outdoor activities. But the rainforest walk was possible and it was a great experience ! Room and decent though nothing luxurious about it. All categories are pretty much same w.r.t convenience. Its just the location and the size whcih changes and nothing extra luxurious for paying more for luxury cottages. Food spread is good. But the quality is not maintained for dessert. Just some junk sponge cakes with artificial coloured icing, may look fancy on the outside but they are not authentic or luxurious dining experience. Thats something they should work on to make it a complete luxurious experience !

One of the best resort I have visited till now in Tamilnadu/Kerala. The receptionists were really helpful and friendly. We were welcomed by GEM Mr. Ashok Fernandes who knew how to serve the customer. We have booked Hip top cottage for one night and The room was well equipped and the service was excellent, no much formalities like other resort. From the balcony, we could view the whole plantation areas and the bridge and feel the cool breeze. The location of our room was absolutely perfect. The hip top cottage is just below the lobby and restaurant. Where you can get your free wifi and bit of network connection at same places. You have to keep in mind that it is completely device free zone . You cannot use mobiles and other devices. The scenery was beautiful and it was a relieve to walk in such a quiet and peaceful environment. I must say that the location of the resort is deep in the forest where you have to drive for about 7kns inside the forest which gives you amazing experience.The next day we shifted to jungle log house which is 1km away from the main lobby gives you completely privacy for couples. You can easily commute from your room to lobby or restaurant buggy facility was available at all time.. we enjoyed the activities inside the resort and all the activities were included in the package!! Food : all three times you get a excellent variety of food.. completely a buffet food was simply superb !!All over the stay Mr. Ashok Fernandes was taking care of us and guided us each n everything he was totally helpful special thanks to him.Mr.Mahesh Raja was the incharge of rain forest walking who knows about the rain forest and we learnt few things about animals insects forest etc etc through his walk in rain forest!!Over all it was a great experience out of all our electronic devices we enjoyed thoroughly in WILD PLANET JUNGLE RESORT

He looked after the requirements of our very well. Hospitality is too gud, after our booking in wild planet, they contacted through call and explained about the distance and road to the resort, shared the map and ask us to share ours while we start from our place.Mr. Ashok helped us in every way possible in our stay. A special mention to the naturalist in wild planet, he thoroughly explained the flora and fauna in and around the property, it’s very informative. Trekking and rainforest walk is top notch.
Very nice place. awesome food. All meals are buffet and has good spread. Rooms and bathroom are very clean. Hill top cottage are little spacious with good view.Though there were posters regarding mask use, not many guests followed them, especially near dining area.Would definitely recommend staying here.

Cant praise enough of this place. We were there for a weekend and I must admit, it has been one of our best weekends ever. This place is located right in the midst of the forest and tea plantation. My heart goes out for all the staffs here. They are simply so passionate about making your experience at the resort worthwhile. This resort has the best service and all the staffs are very courteous. I think the staffs here gives you the confidence of enjoying your stay without worrying much about COVID. Our Experience manager, Ashok was very welcoming and helpful. He was in touch with us from a day before and navigated us to the resort. He made sure that we are at home and just dont need to bother about anything else than just to enjoy every bit of the property. We stayed in the hill top cottages. I felt that has the best view plus its very close to the restaurant and lobby area. Also its largest in terms of area. The food here is just too good with a very large spread in each of the meal. You wont be able to avoid doing the sin of gluttony. There are lot of activities too(except one or two all are included with the package). If you are staying for more than 2 nights or you are in larger group, you can surely try doing most of them. This place has activities for kids as well along with a dedicated kids play area. I can just keep on writing but I stop here and let some of the pictures do the talking for me. Btw, when we went the pool wasnt functional at all given the covid situation. There was no water in the pool and the area was completely sealed. I would have liked it to be at least be accessible with pool being maintained even when we cant take a dip in it. None the less there are just too many things that this resort can offer that you wont even care about the pool.

Lovely property to visit .Its lush green with all amenities and a perfect get away from hustle bustle of the city .The staff is polite and courteous and food is excellent too .There is no deficit of activities to perform there in case of boredom (boating ,swimming ,archery ,badminton, basketball only to name a few )

We really really loved the place..all the workers In the resort greeted us with love and care.we had nature walk with manikandan and rain forest walk with another guy..I forgot his name..they did excellent job..atlast must to mention mr.ashok Fernandes the manager must to be appreciated.🙌🙌.. no networks,away from gadgets .best part of the resort.during 9 to 10 after campfire or during campfire you can conduct games for the couples.looking forward to visit again.

We had booked the luxury pavilion which was located across a beautiful bridge that gave breathtaking views of the mountains with waterfalls and an amazing view of the Wild Planet resort property.The digital detox the resort promised gave us peaceful sleep. We used to wake up to the melodious calling of the Malabar whistling thrush. Although the sun played hide and seek, with fog and rain enveloping the entire locale, we managed to do some exciting activities like zip line, kayaking in the lake inside the property, trekking atop an inclined hill and a walk inside the rain forest. Mr. Mahesh who led us through the rainforest walk shared his passion and knowledge about the rainforest with us. We really enjoyed the walk and the talk. We were given gum boots to walk through the rainforest to protect us from leeches.The food and the hospitality the resort offered was excellent. Mr. Kamal Hassan always extended a warm welcome every time we visited the restaurant. The staff helped in arranging a delicious cake and a candle light dinner to celebrate my husbands birthday.Mr. Ashok Fernandes continuously kept in touch with us to ensure we reached the resort safely, as it is located a little off from the main road. He was generous in checking with us periodically if we needed anything and ensured our stay was comfortable and memorable. We thank him for his kind and warm hospitality.Overall, the stay at the resort proved to be a much needed break and we felt rejuvenated.
We are from Bangalore, initially we planned to surprise my kid for her birthday and searched for some resorts and we got to know this wonderful resort located in Nilgiris. Right from booking the resort and more importantly in this pandemic situation, they instructed very clearly to bring the PCR and e-pass to cross the checkpost of Gundalpet. Without this documents we cant enter into Nilgiris.Once we reached Devala, we just followed the google map that directed us to the Wild Planet Resort, we have to go up for around 7 kms (road was bad to worst but we can sacrifice for this wonderful stay). After reaching the parking, they will pick us up further to the resort.We received a warm welcome in the lobby with a complimentary drink. The luggage were all sanitized before they getting that to your room. We felt perfectly safe there. Nidheesh from the lobby greeted us and right from the day one till the end of our three day stay he helped us and the way he provides the service is just unbelievable. Not only from the reception, the people working here are really courteous and polite.Room:We stayed in Valley View Cabin, the room was perfect for us and it was very clean The valley view and the clouds was perfect to be pleasant. The room is surrounded by Tea estate. Dream comes true kind of place to visit.Restaurant/Food:The food is full board (provided breakfast, lunch, evening snacks/tea and Dinner). The Buffet spread was pretty much has everything, everyday they keep changing the food items. The food quality was just amazing and very hygienic. The Restaurant incharge, Kamal Haasan ( reminded me of Kamals latest movie Vikrams dialogue - Aarambikalangala!!! :) Just kidding. The way he makes us and my kid more comfortable and everytime he comes and checks if anything is needed. He also arranges my Kids birthday, we never forget him in our lifetime.Also the Chef himself comes and checks if everything is fine or not. That was just amazing. Even if we need something else he is ready to prepare and give. That kind of service i never saw in my lifetime so far.Cab Facility:Since we stayed in Valley view cabin it is 500m away from lobby, just a phone call from room, they will be here to take us in 5 mins. Even for play area they will drop and pick us up anytime. They are restless and was really polite. Also the activity person were also very polite and explains what needs to be done in a right way.Thanks to each one of you for being very courteous. While check out, my kid was not leaving the place and was crying a lot, even we felt the same thing.This is a must visit place and definitely we are coming again in next month!!!
A paradise for nature lovers. The ambience is good and food comes as a surprise in a remote place like this...absolutely delicious and yum. Not that worth. They can add the bill upto 10,000 it worth that much only. Even the buffets was very bad. But there are other fun activities. With the money I paid, I could get a good room at Marriott, even they have better food and quality room

Balcony view was so amazing we had really enjoyed the nature beauty very well! . The settings of room,furniture, everything was arranged very neat and perfect. Reason for 3 rating : Few activities (Kayaking, Floating Bridge and Zip Line) have weight limit (90-95kg) and it was not communicated either during reservation or during check-in.Everything else was good. Ambience, food and service were good. Trekking is a must do activity.

One of the best resort I have visited till date. One will love the ambience and nature in this beautiful place. They have good food and many activities. Ooty is just one hour drive from this place.
Great experience. Food and service are excellent. We were assisted by ashok during the stay. There are many groud staff in the resort they are very friendly and good. We completed all the events and it was fun. Planning to visit again

All the amenities are very good..great food..friendly and accurate staff..good property all over...its ideal for couples and family as well...kids had play area and indoor games as well...all food served was buffet..
Experience is amazing..staff were very much humble..Food was awesome.. the rooms were luxurious as the name suggests...We went for nature walk, morning treK, enjoyed the ATV ride..Please see that u stay at least for 2 days to enjoy all the activities.

Wild Planet Resort is one of the most amazing weekend or weekday getaway imaginable. The entire resort has been built along jungle space, without any disruption to the wild. The place has some amazing entertainment activities for children , with trekking and rain forest walking for all. What needs a special mention is the lack of mobile connectivity in the rooms. Makes one realise how blissful life can be without phones!! The food is a gourmets delight, with a delicious spread offering both vegetarian and non-vegetarian food!! The staff at the resort, each and every one of them, are overwhelmingly hospitable, and the service is exceptional and efficient!! All protocols of the pandemic are being adhered to, which takes care of our safety concerns. The rooms are compact and spotlessly clean!! Dear Wild Planet Resort team,My husband and myself visited wild planet resort in Feb 2020 and all I can say is, it was a perfect getaway one can get. It was from the very beginning when we started booking process, Ms Sunita guided us and gave offers. Once the bookings were confirmed we were constantly guided by Mr Ashok Fernandice, manager. There are 2 routes from Bangalore . and we were a little anxious as there was COVID restrictions to go through the state of Kerala.However Ashok ji constantly guided us from the previous day and was in touch from the time we started from Bangalore.I would say it is one of the best resorts one can visit if you really want PEACE OF MIND. It is one of the resorts we have seen which is run purely out of passion and you can dive into Mother Nature. Being Amidst the forest range, you can experience the true experience of rain forest, animals , birds etc.Ashok ji welcomed us and thoroughly explained about the resort and we were really happy to know about every detail of the same. Also he would inquire about our comfort frequently . The rooms which we had opted was really good with all amenities ,perfect for a couple. The food too was really good and you get a perfect traditional and continental Cuisines. We being vegetarians , perfectly enjoyed what was being served everyday. Again the hospitality at food section was really good and all staffs are really humble and extremely obliging.We would like to extend our heartful gratitude to Wild planet resort team for the wonderful experience and special thanks to Ashok ji for taking care of us like a guest who enters ones own house.Being controlled by the city and corporate life, the stay here was indeed like heaven for us.
