Good but its dangerous .
Good place for a weekend ride/ drive from bengaluru/ kolar.You need to walk for about 500 mts to reach the water falls from the parking place.The water fall is shallow during. But diving in the water can be dangerous. There are some good spots where you can get in the water and enjoy.There is also a shivalinga in the water fall.
Falls is closed as on 3/10/2021 due to deaths in Waterfalls.

Kaigal village is situated on the Kuppam - Palamaner Highway. As you drive from Kuppam the village comes on the right site and the fall is about 2.5 kilometres from the village. There is a mud road leading to very close to the falls from where a short distance of walk will take you to the falls. Best season to visit is between June and October during the peak rain season. The falls is particularly popular picnic destination for people from surrounding areas. its very vast falls in AP.

The force of water is good but it is very steep to get down to the waterfall with the shiva linga.I wish the government takes care about it because it may hurt people who ever slip by mistake.Other than that it is full of water and I recommend anyone to visit it during mon to fri because on weekend many ppl will come

I got more how much I expected.
This is a very scenic waterfall in midst of green n lush mountains. A place for a day picnic. Vehicles have to be left about a km away. People have to walk through the woods on foot path which is not an easy task for elderly people. At the falls needs to be careful because of slippary stones. If water flow is more people should be very careful otherwise people will be swept away. There are small pond like places people can play in the water. Someone has take care of your clothes n belongings while you are playing in the water because monkeys may take away your belongings. It is very tiring to come up to your car where you have parked. I had to sit there times while coming up. Good place for a day out.
They are not allowed public to visit on Sundays. Only reserved Sundays for their officials families

Its a nice place to go and spend the day. However, there is no easy access to the water fall. Its an extremely exhausting trek to the main spot. Trekking up to the parking area is even more exhausting. There are no shops anywhere near. Carry lots and lots of water. Not the best spot for children and not good for the elderly. Expect painful legs the next day.

But its force and beauty is increased during the Monsoon season. The name Dumukurallu waterfalls came into prominence because of its sound resembling the fall of stones from above.The falls is formed by the Kaigal stream which is one of the two streams flowing through Koundinya Wildlife Sanctuary. There is a big pond below the waterfalls and this is a nice place to visit for nature lovers. It is situated in a dense forest with plenty of birds, shrubs, trees and wildlife. There is a shivalinga installed near the falls which attracts pilgrims from nearby villages during Shivaratri festival.Visitors seeking public transportation can take Palamaner - Kuppam bus and get down at Kaigal waterfalls bus stop. From the Kaigal Waterfalls bus stop, the falls can be reached by 10 minute walk on mud road. The road from highway becomes inaccessible for vehicles during peak monsoons and walking is the best mode to reach the falls from main road.There is no accommodation available nearby waterfalls. Best season to visit the waterfalls is between September and December.

This place is a hidden treasure, there are few caves and couple falls inside the forest. Since Kaigal falls is not so popular, less crowd comes in weekends and very minimal people comes in weekdays. People who needs peace of mind and do meditation, can go to this place during week days and enjoy the nature. Best time to visit - Dec, Jan, Feb.

Beautiful waterfall, fully crowded in weekends. Try in weekdays and in rainy season.little bit of walk required from parking. Very sad that people are not maintaining cleanliness. Everywhere plastic bottles, plastic covers appears in waterfalls
Water fall is not big but you will have access to enjoy under the fall and also you can spend some peaceful time there...
Please dont go off season, you will end up tired if kids all are there with, you will walk till down to see if water is there, but nothing will be, you will have good scenery view to click some amazing photos, In other seasons as the pictures uploaded by users say its superb. But when we went off season October and November time nothing was there, expect some stagnant water at bottom.
