The auto drivers at the hospital are too rowdy and threatening. We were threatened and followed on our way because we refused to hire their auto at their price. Neither they decreased the rate nor let any other auto hire us. Some serious action has to be taken against them. As I was about to get a train, didnt had enough time for any legal action.

In 1991, the Islamic Academy of education, a not-for-profit trust committed to the upliftment of minorities in general and Muslims in particular, was established by entrepreneur Mr. Yenepoya Abdulla Kunhi as its Chairman.The trustees perceived a hiatus in the area of Health Professional education and so decided to start a Dental college. Within a short span of time, the Yenepoya Dental College was granted permission in 1992; recognized under section 3(A) of the UGC Act, 1956 by the Dental Council of India to educate aspiring students to become dentists. Soon, with one successful milestone after another Trust launched the Yenepoya Institute of Nursing Sciences (1994), the Yenepoya Medical College (1999), the Yenepoya Nursing College (2002) and the Yenepoya Physiotherapy College (2003). All these colleges offer Graduate, Postgraduate, Ph.D., and various certification programs.From its inception, the management dreamt of providing quality higher education, and towards this goal hired the best in their profession. In a healthy campus with natural surroundings, the trust raised buildings designed to bring out the best learning environs, in the distant suburbs of Mangalore.The Islamic Academy of Education in its quest towards excellence in professional education decided to sponsor the formation of a new trust with the sole purpose of creating a Deemed-to-be University (2007). Recognizing the yeoman service provided over the years by these institutions, the Ministry of Human Resource Development, Union of India, on the recommendation of the University Grants Commission granted recognition to Yenepoya University Trust a Deemed-to-be University status under section 3A of the UGC Act 1956 in 2008. This opened a new chapter in the history of Yenepoya Institutions.Today, the Yenepoya Deemed to be University has on its rolls nearly 3000 students. The University campus located in Nithyananda Nagar, Deralakatte has been accorded with all modern infrastructure facilities that include fully furnished classrooms, well-maintained science laboratories, residential quarters for staff and separate lodging facilities for boys and girls. The saga of Yenepoya Deemed to be University is yet to unfold and greater achievements are around the corner. I visit here on March 13 2017 becuase of my Relatuves checkup, I have seen That staffs are so friendly, and here somany facilities are better than i hope, here free food available for Patient, every floor have one Tea shop thats a Blessing otherwise i should Tierd of steps.Problem is Here only one Lift allowed for visitors and patients its a crowded hospital and i think its 7 Floor building thats why Lifts are always full and Slow.

Yonopoya medical college building, all facility is good. Hospitals are good well maintained. But road inside the campus is not good. The road with granite rough tiles which damage the vehicle tyre. Nowadays interlock tiles are mostly used. Which will improve the quality of road. Display of all department nameplate in the each building.

They are not meant to be real valuable docters they will sit and watch untill someone closes their eyes

Appearance is good. Doctors and nurses knows more than 3 language Common English, Tulu , Malayalam, Kannada, HindiPeople can speak any of above language they knows. But some demerits for limited space in Emergency department rooms.

They provide very affordable treatment. Everyone can go in there to get a best treatment at affordable price. Friendly staffs, No doctor fees, you can find best doctors here. They also conduct robotic surgery here for a reasonable price. They also have laser treatments in Dermatology department. Guess what? when hear about laser youll faint because of its huge costs. But here its done for extremely low prices compared to clinics. Treatments are by experts not by the students... I have had the best experience here. And I totally recommend it to others. Department of Gynaecology is best here.... it doesnt mean others are bad. one who gets admitted in the general they get breakfast, lunch, tea & dinner for free. they dont cost much for semi private and private ward. its comparatively cheaper than the other....

Its a Deemed to be university with attached medical college, nursing college and other paramedical institutions. nice ambience. the yendurance zone there is an indoor auditorium cum gym near to the play ground. 40 minutes travel from Mangalore under normal traffic. lot of buses and institutional vehicles play throughout.
