This is a not very famous place but one should try to visit here.Although I have been living in Deoghar since my birth but have just recently visited this place ,only had heard about this.Theres also a small pond here with temples and a small Elephant engraved on rock...

A small Hindu temple top of a small hill. Some of the stone are made natural sculptures. One of them look like elefant- called Hati Pahar. Natural beauty are awesome. Must visit this place for half an hour or more.

Hathi Pahar, also known as Mahadevatari, is a popular hillock towards the east of the destination. The hillock is named as Mahadevatari because it houses a beautiful shrine dedicated to Lord Shiva. The hill is named Hathi Pahar as it looks like an elephant, when seen from a distant place. Apart from this, the hill also has a small stream of water, which flows continuously towards the valley.Tourists as well as devotees often visit this place for consuming the water of the stream. Further, the water is believed to have medicinal values that can cure diseases related to stomach.

The belief isthat its water can cure all stomach related diseases.
