Stephanie was wonderful to work with when buying my Thrive home. She was very knowledgeable about the the home and processes. She was great to select my design package with and super helpful for the upgrade selections. She was organized with paperwork and quick to get me copies if I needed something. She also was great with her weekly communication for progress updates. I highly recommend Thrive and working with her!
Quality of work is pretty good, but be sure to measure your car to make sure it will fit into the garage. They made the garage abnormally small by adding in stairs that take up a good amount of space, and my husbands car wont fit into the garage as a result. If you use their preferred lender, be sure to calculate the taxes yourself or contact the county about it because they do it incorrectly leaving you to get a much higher monthly loan payment. Our mortgage payment went up by $500 a month last year.
I am full time Realtor in the Denver metro area and I am blown away at the value and quality of the Thrive built homes. I have several buyers who I have helped buy a Thrive home and the experience has always been top notch from beginning to end, and they all love their new homes. Especially working with Stephanie Nobbs in the Sales Office has been a fantastic experience, she is so organized, knowledgeable, quick to communicate and overall very helpful. I highly recommend building your home with Thrive or buying a home that was built by Thrive. They really do care, and it shows!
Laurie Smith at Thrive has been the most amazing sales rep! She is responsive and always available. I have worked with many new home builders and Thrive has so far been one of the best. Dom has also been on top of everything with us. I am so thrilled for my clients that they get to move into their new home very soon! I would bring back more clients to this community in a second!
We could not be more pleased with our Thrive Home Builders experience! My husband and I purchased a brand new Row Home in Central Park (formerly Stapleton). From our initial consultations with Kevin Rodriguez, to our actual signing of the contracts, choosing finishes and ongoing support from start to finish with Stephanie Nobbs (who is absolutely awesome!), to our walk-thrus with Jake & Bruce (great and very knowledgeable guys!), everything and every one has exceeded our expectations! We were even finished almost 90 days sooner than originally planned. Thats pretty much unheard of in the building industry. My husband is a carpenter and Im an Interior Designer, so Thrive had some pretty tough customers with us! Our standards for great product, workmanship and service are probably higher than most. The Thrive team most definitely delivered in all categories! Our two daughters and their families also own Thrive Homes and they are as pleased as we are. Great company; beautiful, energy efficient homes ... not much more you could ask for. We LOVE Thrive and would highly recommend them to anyone considering the purchase of a new home in the greater Denver area!!!
Definitely would NOT recommend Thrive. Terrible quality, project manager lies to you, does not do what they say they will. Performed a one week punch list walk through prior to closing, arrived on closing day, nothing had been done. No attention to detail. Electrical did not work, installed the wrong shower fixture, appliances do not fit in the prebuilt appliance areas, non responsive, dishonest, unhelpful.UPDATE: Thrive knew about the cracked paint and still sold me a home. Forced me to move out due to COVID to repair the faulty home they sold me. Painters did NOT wear masks or cover my possessions. Left the door wide open for 25 minutes.FOLLOW UP UPDATE: Nearly 90 days after closing on a Thrive home. Still living with alligator skin paint, which Thrive thinks is fixed by putting a primer coat and another coat of paint on it. However the manufacturer website specifically states to sand down all layers of paint. Warranty person broke a faucet trying to fix something that was on my pre close punch list. Bathroom sinks not caulked. Again, 90 days post close and dealing with these things. There are lots of other builders out there, do your research. Definitely would NOT recommend a Thrive Home.
Fantastic builder! Phenomenal product with a dedicated focus on indoor air quality and energy efficiency. Friendly and courteous staff from start to finish. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a new home.
I am in the initial stages of building a home with Thrive, Kevin has been super helpful throughout the entire process in answering all my questions and making sure I knew what I was getting. Overall they have made me very comfortable during these beginning stages and I would recommend them to others looking to build a new home.
I just bought a new row house from Thrive builders and I could not be happier! The sales and design team were super helpful in picking my interior materials! The project manager and building team provided a beautiful well built home and were super responsive to all the questions I had! I am also really impressed with the quality of the materials and the craftsmanship. They have won awards for building and providing indoor air quality! I am also enjoying that I have solar energy provided as well! All in all the best home build I have ever experienced!
I am currently in the process of buying a home and have found Thrive wonderful to work with. I have struggled with making a decision given our fast-paced, limited, Denver market and Laurie and Kevin have been beyond accommodating with my changing requests and needs. Their company exemplifies and values the customer, I have felt that repeatedly over the last several months. Laurie and Kevin are patient, warm and caring. I feel welcome when I meet with them and feel like a priority. I have not completed the purchase of a home yet, so I cannot speak to that portion of Thrive but so far things have been issue-free!
Stephanie Nobbs and her team at Thrive Home Builders have consistently delivered excellent service to my clients that have purchased a Thrive Home. Streamlined communication and quick responses from builder teams is not common in our business, but the Thrive team has exceeded expectations. Ive done multiple deals with Stephanie and Thrive without a hitch. My clients and my team have only had the best of experiences with Thrive. I was invited to a housewarming party for my client and the product speaks for itself as they use quality materials in addition to great craftsmanship. I would highly recommend Stephanie and the Thrive team for you as a buyer or your clients as a realtor, or lender. Thank you, Stephanie and team!
Bought our first new build from Thrive at the Wheat Ridge location and could not be more thrilled with the process. Laurie has been an amazing guide on this journey and the quality and communication is all top-notch.
I would highly recommend Thrive! Their homes are priced competitively with respect to the housing market, and their quality is above average, from what we have seen. They use high quality materials and finishes and go above and beyond with home features. We love their focus on sustainable and energy efficient homes. They made the home buying process very simple for us and even accommodated a few special requests, that most home builders would simply ignore. We love our fast growing, diverse community here at Westridge.
My home was completed on time with very few defects, and the warranty is outstanding!
Thrive is one of the best builders I have worked with in 15 years of real estate. Their building process was very smooth, they have exceptional customer service, and truly understand what it means to have a satisfied client at the end. Laurie Smith, our sales rep was also exceptional through the whole process. She kept us informed weekly on the progress of the home and delivered great customer service. I would be proud and thrilled to bring any buyer to this builder!!!
Unethical and greedy practices by this business. Be prepared to be surprised by several thousand $ in additional hidden charges at last moment when you show up for contract review. Be prepared for salesperson to turn hostile and disrespectful when you question why these werent disclosed before.Leadership lacks trace of accountability and will condone malicious and retaliatory actions by their employees. Please be aware,• Thrive senior management does not respond back to your concerns.• The person who responds would be same person you are complaining to top management about. They will throw the clause below at you after several weeks of clear communication and agreements in email. This clause basically says that , Please dont trust anything our employees commit to.Refer to justification from Sales Director (Ms. Elitia Schwaderer ) for incompetence and bait and switch tactics. Neither this Agreement nor any modification to this Agreement shall be binding on Seller unless and until executed by an Authorized Officer of the Seller. Agreements and understandings reached either verbally or in writing with employees or sales representatives of Seller are not binding upon Seller unless approved in writing by Seller’s Authorized Officer.“
Buyer beware. I have had my Thrive home for 3 years and have had nothing but problems with it from day 1. I dont know if you can find a company that uses cheaper products and cheaper and terrible installation and repair men. The house has never been satisfactory to us from the walkthrough to today. It was a terrible and cheaply built home and anyone they sent to fix things did absolutely horrible repair work and/or tried to say they couldnt fix anything that was installed horrible in the first place. Our current/running problem and home repair list is longer than I care to share and the amount of money and time I have dedicated to fixing things is ridiculous. To add, every one of my neighbors on my entire block is having the same experience. We will all have to spend an insane amount of money to fully fix our houses up in order to sell them. Do yourself a favor and run from this company.
Thrive Home Builders was great to work with during the entire process. We love our new home and enjoyed getting to pick out different finishes. Our sales rep, Lillianne, was so helpful throughout the entire process and answered all of our many questions. They made the home buying/new build experience very easy for us! Would definitely recommend!
Stephanie Nobbs and Kevin Sales ManagerExceptional customer service through the whole process. They keep me and my clients informed weekly on the progress of the home and delivered . I would be proud and thrilled to bring any buyer to this builder!!!super professional and very helpful at Thrive! Their building process was very smooth, they have exceptional customer service, and truly understand what it means to have a satisfied clients at the end.Linda TarazonaRealtor .
I worked with Kevin Rodriguez to purchase my home. I have to say that I had quite a few questions and Kevin was able to answer my questions in a timely manner and if he didnt know the answers he would find out for me.
Visited the Panacea model about two years ago when on vacation. Just moved here and wanted to check it out again. All sold out. So I went to ZEN house and it was sold out too. I guess we have good taste. Waiting for a new series from Thrive at stapleton. Looks like its almost done so i wont miss this one now that i live here.
Sandy was amazing to work with! Always responded to our inquiries/concerns in a timely manner and was professional yet relatable.
The website provided limited floor plans with only one syle of homes.
Stephanie and her team were great, two clients of mine have purchased homes through Thrive, on time, great communication.
Lilianne was great assisting us moving into our new home! Highly recommended!
As a preferred lender with Thrive Home Builders I work with Laurie Smith at the Westridge community regularly.Laurie is experienced, knowledgeable, responsive, and she cares about her clients.
We are first time home buyers and Jessica and her team from Thrive builders made the process so easy. As first time home buyers we naturally had a lot of questions which Jessica patiently answered. We have been kept updated about the home construction process from time to time. So far we have had a pre construction meeting with Joel and he was super helpful in explaining how the whole process works. We are really excited to move into our new energy efficient home. We will continue to update this review as we move along the home building process .
My older sister and her husband bought a New Town townhouse years ago in Stapleton as their first home. They moved to one of their houses about 7 yers ago and just moved again to a bigger house. Its Thrive now but Ive always loved my sisters houses and now my new husband and i are looking. Thrive is a little more expensive but their solar and makes it worth it.
We are currently building a townhouse with Thrive and theyve been absolutely wonderful with us! Tammy was extremely patient with all of our design questions and made us feel secure in our investment. Nathan is absolutely amazing to work with! Since the construction of our home started, hes always sending us weekly construction updates and is always available to answer any questions we may have. These two make an amazing team and we are beyond grateful to be building our first home with them!Thank you for making the home buying process a little less stressful! We really appreciate you!!Disclaimer: Our home is not complete yet. Will update review once we are moved in.
I moved into my new home a couple of weeks ago and so far I am in love with it! The process was pretty painless and the people that I worked with were fantastic. There wasnt a single question that they didnt answer, which was a lot because this was my first time building. There were a couple of issues that came up right before closing like some cracks in the fence and minor things that needed to be revisited and Dustin and team were happy to address everything. I feel good in my new home and everything that I have experienced so far has been up to my high standards. I havent been here for all that long yet but so far I am a very happy camper!
I purchased my home through Newtown Home Builders in September of 2016. We were moving in July of 2019 and an inspection came back that the deck off of our back patio was coming apart. There were nails and screws coming out and the wood was warping very badly. Newtown is no longer in business and was taken over by Thrive Home Builders. I called Thrive and they connected me with the superintendant in my area. He came over and inspected my deck and informed me some of the problems were do to age and were not under warranty. He then said he would send someone out to take a look and let me know. I told him we were scheduled to be moved in about a week and I didnt want this to hold us up. He sent a crew out, repaired the entire deck and didnt charge me anything. I called to thank him and he felt considering we were in the middle of a move he was willing to help us out. Wow, I didnt think this happened any more. I would recommend Thrive to anyone that is looking for a home and wants to work with a very reputable builder.
Thrive works hard to make sure its market priced homes are the priority. They choose materials that look good at first but do not last. In Denver, one must now elect a part of the land one plans to develop as affordable housing these are the homes Thrive neglects. People who buy these affordable homes are teachers, firefighters, retirees, etc. People who make a good living but cant compete with the Denver market. Since living here I have had to re-paint the entire interior, fix multiple parts of the carpet, reattach every hanging fixture the builders put in, reattach cabinet doors, and tighten others. I have been here almost 3 years and this was a new buildThey also have a model home set up behind our property and have put a giant porta potty in the ally. It makes the entire block look awful, it is in the way, and is unnecessary.Thrive uses cheap materials, and Stapleton has a terrible HOA. Its 200.00 per month. Going to two different companies for some unknown reason. The landscaping isnt kept up. My elderly neighbors are out their scooping the snow before anyone from the HOA comes out.My front door was broken by the mowers and HOA did nothing to help. They blamed it on the mowers and the mowers blamed the HOA. Their is of course a special door required. If the HOA requires all the door to look the same, they should definitely cover the damages for a replacement door. Especially when they hired the company that broke it in the first place. The cement stairs outside each of my neighbors property are chipping and thrive can out to look, their conclusion was to do a cheap fill in, rather than the replacement needed.DONT Buy a home here. Buy a place that will age well and last your family a long time.
Recently moved into our new Thrive home. The home offered a great look and a lot of sustainable options that appealed to my wife and I. Construction went as planned, though we did have a checklist of items to be completed still upon closing. I will say that Chuck and Mike have been great to work with as far as getting the items taken care of, as well as other items that have come up along the way. Without that commitment to service that we have received after move-in, this review might have been dinged a bit, but they have been great.
When asking about the plot plan and landscaping plan for our lot, Thrive mentioned that wed need to be extra careful with any backyard landscaping to ensure that the back patio didnt crack. Were familiar with the expansive soils in CO, understood this, and found it reasonable. The part that was new to us was that they then informed us that if the patio was to crack, it could crack the foundation and that this type of foundation damage is not covered under warranty. So we questioned their process for flatwork (patio) to foundation joints and were told that they do it differently and that the flatwork would be poured at the same time as the foundation, that the spreading of a crack from patio to foundation was a very real risk, and that we were asking questions on things that they should not have to answer. Its not unheard of for a driveway, sidewalk, front porch, or patio to crack (even with keeping plants 5 ft away) and thus, found it very concerning that a crack in the flatwork could cause the foundation to crack. So we stated that we must be mis-communicating and asked if there was someone else from Thrive that might be able to help explain it better. The answer was Absolutely not. I am the representative for this transaction. We were also straight out told that there was a ton of interest on that lot and they would be happy to sell it to someone else for more money since prices have gone up in the 2 mths since placing a deposit on it. My husband just could not get over the foundation risk... so we walked away from our enormous deposit with a ton of sadness and heartache. Unless you want to lose a ton of money or end up with possible foundation problems (not covered by warranty), I would STEER CLEAR of this builder. There are plenty of other builders in the area that are wonderful to work with... why set yourself up to deal with their unprofessionalism. They claim to be local builders that care about the community but had no problem keeping (aka stealing) our deposit and didnt care at all to explain the foundation situation further.
When I started looking for a home to purchase, I already knew it would be hard to find. My desire was for an energy efficient home that would keep my energy costs down as well as a modern style layout. Well, I got lucky! I found the Rows at Ridgegate in Lone Tree, CO. They had exactly what I wanted. I thought I knew what was important when it came to energy efficiency, but Thrive Home Builders went way beyond my expectations. One of the first things that stood out was the way they build the outer walls. They use a double outer wall design that leaves an air gap in the wall so that energy (sun beating on the side of the house) would not be able to transfer into the house. I couldn’t find even one other builder using this type of system. Thrive Home Builders go the extra, and you will not be disappointed!Next Solar panels and energy efficient windows added to the mix. Oh my, was I excited! I couldn’t believe my luck.As part of the building process, they perform what is called a HERS test, mine was 37. If you know anything about HERS ratings, this is LOW. Low means savings! Again, wow!The real test came when I moved in, got my utility bill and all I can say is wow! The solar panels produce more energy than I am using, three months in a row so far!All I can say is wow! If you are looking for an efficiently built home, there is no other place to look, you found it, so come and get one before they are all sold out.Check out my pictures I posted of my energy Sense monitor, and you will see why I keep saying Wow!
Scott was super helpful, and Dustin and his team did such a wonderful job on our new home. We love everything about it, and the solar + sustainable build will continue to pay off for us in the future (energy bills are so low)! Our family now has our dream home in Hyland Village thanks to Thrive Homebuilders.
We are proud homeowners and feel fortunate that we chose Thrive as our builder. Weve now been in our townhome for three months and have been impressed with the quality of construction, the many included convenience features, energy efficiency and the service weve received from the staff at Thrive. I would enthusiastically recommend Thrive to anyone considering a new home in the Denver. With the skyrocketing price of housing, its nice to know there is still quality to be had.
Wow! We are officially waiting for our new Thrive home and it could not have been a more pleasant experience. As first time home buyers, Jessica and Lauren made the process so enjoyable and easy. Doesn’t get any better! 😄
Fake listings populating on MLS all the time, impacting an already unstable market. They may build fine homes, I can’t speak to that, but their marketing practices are intentionally deceptive or very poorly executed.
Had such a great experience buying this home! The sales, construction, and design studio team were really great and above-and-beyond helpful. I love my new house and would absolutely buy another Thrive home!
I left a decent negative review about their homes and one of their employees tried to make lies up and fabricate to get me fired from my current employer.Never again will I trust this homeowner again.
My husband and I are in the very early stages of building a new home with Thrive, but so far we have been nothing but happy with the service that we have received. We have been working with Jessica as our sales manager and she has been a joy to work with. She keeps us up to date with details and has been very patient with our obsessive emails :) Will continue to update this review as we progress through the process! Excited to see it come together!
Thrive aka New Town Builders has great marketing—I’ll give them that. But the quality of construction misses the mark. It’s customary to have a punch list of small items to be fixed after closing. But add to that a leaking roof due to poor flashing and a set of stairs that had to be completely torn out and replaced. Then there’s the foundation that protrudes out about 3 inches along the bottom of the wall inside the entry. We had to pay for an engineer’s report and seek legal counsel before the builder would agree to address SOME of the items. The unsightly protrusion in the entry hall still greets us as we come and go—a reminder of what happens when a builder sacrifices quality for profits.
Words cannot express right now how utterly frustrated and disappointed I am in our builder, New Town. We were supposed to close on our house today, after living in a hotel for nearly 3 months. Unfortunately, New Town has chosen to simply not care - they dont care about building a quality home; they dont care about the fact that my family has been displaced; they dont care that both my husband and I work full time and have taken so much time off of work to QC their work that we virtually have no leave left; they dont care that weve worked our behinds off to afford building a new home, and scrimped and saved to even get this far; they dont care that were trying to build a better life for our daughter; they dont care to follow through with their commitments and promises; they dont care that my husband has been so stressed during this process that hes no longer able to sleep at night. If anyone out there is thinking about building with New Town, I strongly caution you against it. Weve been deceived and lied to, when all weve ever asked for is the truth and for New Town to take some pride in their work and build our house as if it were their own. I know we arent the only people who are having (or have had) these issues with New Town, or new construction in general, but when are people going to stop giving up and standing up for what is right? When is it OK for people to accept that just because you build a more expensive home it doesnt mean it is better construction (actual quote from a New Town employee). Whats wrong with people?! What happened to quality?! What happened to customer service?! Whats wrong with this industry?! Its disgraceful, and New Town should be ashamed of themselves.
My wife and I just went under contract to buy a new, Thrive Vita Series home through Jessica Vandecrift and were thrilled with the product and the service. As a real estate professional I can confidently state that Jessica has been excellent to work with and the whole Vita Series is awesome--I wish we could buy one of each of their plans!
We worked with an awesome staff member when we bought our house. She has since been fired. However, the sales person who was an absolute nightmare to work with is still there. Good indication of where this company is headed. Also, they actively delete negative comments from Facebook. We bought from this builder because we felt they had heart and conscience. Now we know they not only lack either of those, but lack all accountability as well.
My wife and I closed on our house last week of April out in Ridgegate and we couldnt be any HAPPIER. Donna, Chris, Owen and team were very helpful during the entire process from start to finish. Our home exceeds expectations...THANK YOU!!!! Thrive has winners working for them at Ridgegate!
AS a Real Estate Appraiser for Thrive, my experience has shown that Thrive is one of the better homebuilders in the Denver Metro Area. Their construction is high quality and features on par with the better builders in the area. Thrive is the only builder that i have come across that has Solar packages as part of the base price. Also, the Donna, onsite sales, has been more than helpful. I also worked with Donna in purchasing a townhome for investment. She was wonderful to work with - always a smile and eager to help. Her professionalism made the process of purchasing a great experience. I would recommend Thrive and Donna to anyone wanting to purchase a quality home.
We had an amazing experience with Thrive- we absolutely love our home and the customer service from the start of the process right through to the warranty process has been nothing short of stellar. We have nothing but positive things to say about Thrive!
Rebecca Mortensen, Community Sales Consultant for Thrive Home Builders was a pleasure to work with. I have sold Richmond Homes, Infinity, DR Horton and Lennar homes in the past, and she ranks up on the top 3 of sales people that I have worked with. She gave us updated information regularly. We never needed to ask for information since she was great with providing that to us in a timely manner. Top notch person to work with, with a top notch builder. Thank you Rebecca, for a very pleasant experience. You are true Gem for your company and they are fortunate to have you in their team.
My husband and I purchased a Vita series home from Jessica Vandergrift at Thrive Home Builders and we cannot say enough good things about our experience. We really felt like we had a partner in our home buying process. If we ran into a hiccup Thrive would always make the situation right. Jessica in particular is great to work with. She is very responsive and keeps you updated throughout the entire process, which can be long and frustrating at times. On top of Thrives amazing health and environmental benefits, their customer service is top notch. If youre in the market for building a house I wholeheartedly recommend Thrive (and if youre considering Stapleton I highly recommend Jessica Vandergrift for the Vita series in Beeler Partk)!
We scouted the many builder choices in Stapleton for months. Thrive was the first builder we visited and they were our last. I admit, we even came close to putting down earnest money with another builder because we believed Thrive was out of our price range. However, we fell in love with one of their floor plans, plus the home is built zero energy ready. So we decided to come back and see what Thrive could do. It has been the best choice weve made so far! We sat down with Jessica and told her our wish list and our price range. She worked up an estimate of how much a home would cost and it came within our budget. We even got our gourmet kitchen and finished basement!!! That same night we decided to go forward with Thrive and we havent regretted it since. I think this stems mostly from our interactions with Jessica. Shes helped answer any and all questions that weve come up with and if she doesnt know the answer or isnt 100% sure, shell find out promptly. Well even get responses from her on her days off. Weve built a new home before and weve never had such exceptional service! For example, we realized in our selection of upgrades that our kitchen backsplash was only going to be extended to the bottom of the cabinets instead of the bottom of the hood. We expressed our displeasure in this because the kitchen is #1 on our wish list. Jessica pushed this up to management and we are happy to write that we will be getting the backsplash extended to the bottom of the hood with no additional cost! She is our voice; she is our advocate. When reading the reviews on Thrive, I think those that wrote negative reviews may have had a better experience if they had Jessica. Its been a great experience so far! This will be an ongoing review as we are only near the pre-construction meeting so well keep you posted on our progress. If you have any doubts, you should be at ease if you have the pleasure of working with Jessica. She listens, talks straight, and delivers results!
You guys are doing good things. Keep it up.
They like taking advantage of small moms and pop companies to make them more money . Worst builder in Colorado horrible to work with. Boo thrive boo.
Poor quality all over. Broken promises. I hate to complain but I hate even more if people lie to me. 3 years fighting endless warranty issues (painting bad everywhere, bath tubs with wholes from construction, AC system not working (they can not build an energy efficient house (used too big ducts. But they can build a hot and NOISY house !!!), swamp for free (LOL) in front of the house, defect mirrors, mud room door construction flaw, nails sticking out, loose hand rail etc.). 3 years of fight ? That is unacceptable. When we finally met I asked about the painting of the house as it looked always dirty and had some white efflorescence in there. I was told just to hire somebody who can do real good power washing (LOL). I forced every power washer in Denver to clean my house. EVERYBODY walked away. It turns out it is a simple quality issue. Looking up the specifications for the Sherwin Williams paint reveals that at least a Masonry primer and 2 top coats would have been necessary. Well, nothing they have done and nothing they want to hear. Be warned ! They do provide lowest quality and home design by science fair 1st grade. Sorry guys, back to the drawing board!!!
