We arrived at 4pmwhere we sat ourselves down on a table covered in coffee and salt to which we cleaned ourselves, great covid regulations by 4:30 we had our food and no drinks... The pub did not have a large amount of people inside or outside else I could excuse this issue. Our food came out and our cutlery was wrapped up in the napkins pictured below, Im not sure if theyre collecting the napkins after each customer uses them and are washing them for use by others so we kindly asked for our drinks and replacement cutlery we got told yeah it will be 2 mins theres.aome being washed however 3 people behind us ordered meals after we asked for fresh cutlery so we kindly reminded the same waitress who said they would be right out that was after 10 mins of waiting we have now finished our food which was probably the worst food Ive had for this wetherspoons, however I can say the manager who gave us napkins at the end of our meal after our hands were covered in grease and food and Corona virus was the best part of my time here today
Horrific service, ordered via app and price changed mid order. Was told it was due to me ordering the special and resulted in staff telling me I was in the wrong... even though I replicated the issue numerous times in front of the staff member. The really stupid thing was the special price I was told I was ordering and price on the app didnt even match!I was then told I was raising my voice, although noone else in the pub noticed...I asked for the manager who eventually (two staff members later) came over and told me again it was my fault for ordering the special and the only option was that she would email the epos team to rectify...The attitude of the staff considering I could replicate the issue in their presence was poor.I was made to feel like their technical issues were my fault. If you have an issue, you should sort it... Not blame the customer!I was eventually given a partial refund of the difference but not the full amount...Ridiculously poor service...
I said Id never come here again after I was spoken to rudely by one of the female staff but I came in yesterday with a group of my friends and Im glad I did. We was served by Aliyah. I asked her name to leave this review as she deserved recognition. She was really friendly and gave fast service. She was very accommodating and the only one to pick up a cloth and clear tables in the 4 hours we were there. Cheap, cheerful and a lovely member of staff made for a good, redeeming experience.
Usual Wetherspoons. Nice outdoors area. Toilets are upstairs but there is a disabled toilet downstairs. Breakfast ends at 11.30am. The menu of all Wetherspoons has gone really basic and a lot of my favourites have gone. Cheap beer. Unlimited hot drinks for just over a pound. Free drink with most meals except breakfast. Parking isnt great, it is either on the street or in a little carpark round the side.
Stiky table , dirty glasses and I am not so sure about conditions from the kitchen , food look ok but my appetite was down after I see it table and glasses !!!
Had the best breakfast at bell weather today, and my grandson. Usually ropey, but great today, like I say, best Wetherspoons breakfast I’ve ever had. Quality 👏🏻
Food is OK but service is super fast. Parking is a nightmare. Great selection of drinks and always made to feel welcome.
Clean and tidy, cheap and cheerful, nothing special but you get what you pay for. No complaints. Staff helpful and considerate.
Nothing more or less than one would expect from a Wetherspoons pub really. Fast service and a great breakfast. The layout is spacious and clean. This has the advantage of a large outdoor area with plenty of tables and space. My drawback as with all of pubs in this chain is fruit machines all over the pub, but that’s a question of taste and does not lose any points with me.The staff, polite and helpful and quick to respond to errors.
Another great Spoons, loverly outside garden on the warmer days aswell
A nice pub but a bit out date now it needs a a bit update now.
We go here all the time, staff r lovely and food is great
It was ok for a Saturday morning the breakfast was ok but the Coffey only warm not hot
Lovely pub, great bar staffing. Good beer, good prices, cant fault the place. Great.
Friendly staff, nice food, clean place n nice beer garden
Cheap, cheerful and friendly atmosphere.... you cant go wrong
Food not cooked right took back returned same burger inside 2 minutes. Was asked if everything OK when we tried too explain lady turned her back and walked back inside. VERY RUDE
Lovely place and food was great. Friendly place. We go every week.
I know we are in a pandemic but I waited 20 minutes for a drink and even had to download the app. That was the only way we got served, ended up leaving after 1 drink. I asked the barmaid for her cleaning stuff to clean the table, she just gave it me didnt even offer to clean it herself. Then waited another 15 minutes and didnt even get acknowledgement so left and went to the William archer. It was not even busy as it was a Sunday afternoon 12:15pm for fathers day. We was not the only ones to leave either.
Called into wetherspoons tonight (Saturday) at 9.15 sat at our table and ordered a drink, table had not been cleaned, waited 20mins for our drinks which never arrived so we called over a waitress and asked to cancel our order which she did but we received no apology just told it would take a few days and walked away. Bad service wont be returning.
Had a lovely lunch and catch up with old mates 🤗
Went for breakfast and a few refill coffees, sat out in the sun, ordered on the app, so easy and quick. Might make it a regular Sunday morning thing.
Good food and value fur money all nice pubs
Nice drinks and good food with quick service!
Nice place food always good reasonable prices excellent service..
Food was fantastic didnt have to wait long to get served staff was very polite
Eaten there quite a few times and food was always cooked well, hot and server promptly. Never tried the drinks, but food is lovely and staff are nice
It is what it is good cheap beer plenty of choice
Very clean covid safe prices resonable
Friendly service, excellent cocktails and wide variety of spirits.
Its a standard wethers what u expect but tbf frendliey and attentive staff make it just that little better ehile covid rules the world
Always good service good prices friendly staff
Absolutely horrible. The “security guard” treating me and my mates terribly. All just because one of my friends let one of my other friends have a shot they kicked us all out. Didn’t even get to finish my food or drinks. Absolutely pathetic. Wouldn’t recommend this pub.
It is what it is....definitely not the best outlet in the company
Friendly fast service from the staff!Meals are reasonably priced with some allergen info included on the menu. A more detailed list is available.Great tasting food and steak actually cooked as requested, which makes a change for the style of venue so top marks to the kitchen for that.I downloaded and used the app what there to order coffee and desert. Within seconds the coffee mug was at the table and deserts on there way. Ill definitely use it again.
Staff and food were amazing will be back
Best pub in walsall
No covid restrictions, more than 6 at a table people standing, not signing in, no wonder covid still spreading
Food is good staff are always ready to help service is good
The place is 8n desperate need for a refurb. The carpet is disgusting!
Good prices.nice& clean.
Understaffed, terrible service, the worst weatherspoons Ive been to. By far
Being told after you have waited for 30 mins that would have to go at 9pm because we had a minor !! Nothing highlighed on your website and this nothing was not explained ,when we started to queue . Not the best weatherspoons at all .
Friendly helpful staff, nice food as well
Went in there today for a breakfast. From the time we entered we were made to feel comfortable and welcome by a young lad working there. Service, food and everything about our experience was FIVE STAR.We will be going again and would definitely recommend it.
Excellent place to spend your day with friends or family.
Nice place, frendily staff
OK just OK could do with a good clean
Lovely food great prices
Good food, good prices
Service was poor, not one came to our table to take our order
Great place to eat and drink
Food average felt sick all day after having the breakfast
Went for a birthday meal with my daughter staff pleasant and helpful and all safety measures in place
Helpful staff food good
Place is a jokeVery rude staff. Ordered gin and vodka in drinks both didn’t have any in.Staff need customer service skills it is disgusting.I’m pregnant and the lady made me move my chair away from my family. The chair was literally a metre away which they made me turn back around so I couldn’t face my family. No one has been around to sanitise any tables, chairs or touch points. Even the manager wasn’t using the correct doors to leave.Place is an absolute joke
Usually very difficult to find a table as its an extremely popular bar.If youre taking children Id recommend going earlier in the day.Beer garden, good selection of drinks and food at reasonable prices.Id recommend finding your table and ordering through the app as the bar can get quite busy!
Good old local
Lovely food and prices
Good meeting place craft beers bang on ,food nice aswell trying to get back on there feet after covid.
Staff professional and helpful, and despite other customers whining about Covid rules the staff are trying their best to be Covid compliant. Now more than ever with the recent relaxing of lockdown rules 2nd time around (17th may 2021) the staff are really showing that they are not going to allow silly members of the public ruin it for the majority, the staff and management team of the bellwether have put Covid safety of their customers first and foremost, and anyone who doesnt adhere are asked to leave, myself and my family felt where Covid precautions can be taken, the bellwether has ticked all the boxes we could think of.
Well done Ian and your team on the reopening post covid.Youre all working hard to keep us safe but still make it feel like normal, also food and drink was excellent thank you all, its nice to be back 👍
Was ok
Visited 8.30pm for a quick drink with family ordered drinks via app waited until 8.55pm before being served and told us must leave now at 8.55pm because of 2 children age 16 and 17 years old. Very rude staff
Typical Wethetspoons environment with appropriate social distancing rules due the to Coronavirus pandemic in place. Quick service and the place was clean inside. Decaff coffee is always a good idea. Nothing to complain about on this visit.
Very good social distance measures lovely atmosphere very enjoyable security were expemperly
Very good
Nice Sunday dinners. For a reasonable price. Staff are also nice and friendly too. All round 5 star
4th visit and everytime Ive had to wait a long time for drinks, 25 minutes today. Aweful!
Who dont love a spoons , this sppons is better than west Bromwich, service is quick
Good pub when they can reopen
Just your average Wetherspoons. Breakfast was fantastic though.
Staff are pleasant and helpful
First time going since lockdown finished and they are abiding by the guidelines very well. Good work guys 👍🏽
Not as nice as before
Often pop In here for a coffee. £1.20 for a bottomless mug. If you, like me, enjoy a strong coffee get a flat white, drink a little out of it, then top up it up with an Americano. Could do with a refresh now, but staff are always welcoming.
Exactly what u expect from a weatherspoons. Perfect for a cheap group gathering
It is always nice in here, personnel is friendly, responsive and willing to help. Beer garden at the rear making it more attractive as it is well designed, giving visitors good feeling. Interior is nice and clean, big enough for meetings. I should recommend this place. Orders by app works very well, same fast like personal ordering and children are very welcome here too.
Breakfast is nice. Staff friendly but they could do with cleaning some areas better. There was a dead wasp on the window ledge that was attracting flies. Not very nice when your trying to eat. Price of food and drinks are very good. Shame they stopped doing Sunday roasts though.
As a lively split level pub, can get a bit rowdy now and then. Overall good selection of beers, food is what you expect of weatherspoons. Pub eating tables could do with cleaning more often and better. Still worth a visit or two to make your own mind up.
Good service and dealt with covid rules well
Friendly staff and quick service. Cant ask for much more!
Excellent all round. Good food, good drink and friendly staff.Good menu too.
Tried the breakfast after reopening but not for the first time when the breakfast came sausages had no taste both of them mushroom not cooked bacon is bacon hash brown from the freezer toast was so small need to borrow my friends glasses to see it beans i could count them food was cold like if came out the fridge staff was unprofessional the man with the camera keep staring and the big woman jumping up and down laughing and giggling like a school girl for attention and dont listen to what customer is saying apologies if she has hearing difficulties as for the bottom less coffee hit rock bottom toilets are spotless place is dirty will never have breakfast at this place again oh on the way out walking past the window pretty lady having breakfast 3 sausages either she is special or ordered a extra one you decide
Great pub good food nice staff loved it
Really good breakfast, tea & coffee. Not bad for the price. Only downside to the place is the main toilets are up a flight of stairs. Staff are friendly and polite.
Best place in Wednesbury by far. Great service, food and drinks everytime. Always reliable.
Love wetherspoons..great value
Good staff .well sorted for covid 19
Weatherspoons A+
