I could be very brief and just give the bike five starts and say its an amazing bike and continue with my day but that would not be fair with Alchemy bikes or whoever reads this review.I want to start by saying that even though Im not a professional rider, I have an extensive background and experience on different cycling disciplines going from BMX up to Downhill MTB, I have been lucky enough to ride mountain bikes with different suspension platforms, geometries, travel and what not so I believe that my word can be trusted when I tell you this one of the most underrated, versatile and fun bike I have ever ridden! Some people that practice multiple cycling disciplines will probably enjoy having multiple bikes for each of them, I’m not that type of person, firstly because this sport is already expensive to own more than one high end bike and secondly, I don’t feel comfortable swapping bikes in every terrain I’m planning to ride, so I needed to buy a bike that was going to have my bike on XC days as well as on Bike parks and rough terrain days. Before the alchemy I rode for two years and 6 months a YT Capra 27.5, This bike was amazing descending, however, every time that I needed to go to the top of the hill, the bike would take me there, but it cost me a lot! From the moment I jumped on the Arktos I knew those struggling days climbing were gone! the SINE suspension platform is just revolutionary, there is no pedal Bob and almost feel like a hardtail bike when going up (you do have lots of small bump compliance), when I felt this uphill efficiency I was kind of skeptical and worried about the bike’s performance descending, you know, you can have both worlds on one long travel bike (170mmF/150mmR) but man, my skepticism disappeared as soon as I began going down, hit the first 5ft drop and just kept getting speed as I flew over the rock, roots and berms, I could not believe how this bike could be so well planted and playful at the same time, I could not believe all the amazing things I was missing from a bike, and I didn’t you could be having all this fun on an enduro bike. Without extending myself more I just want to say that everyday I can’t wait to get home after work and take my bike to the nearest trail and ride it like there was no tomorrow.Do yourself a favor and invest in an Alchemy arktos! You will not be dissapointed, and if you are, you can return the bike within the first 30 days of your purchase, so basically you have nothing to lose!

I was in the market for a new ride and was looking at several options from the big bike companies and a few select boutique brands. I hadnt heard of Alchemy until this past year, but everything I saw/read indicated that it was a solid company producing great bikes, and it didnt hurt that the company is located right here in the great state of Colorado. I contacted Alchemy to inquire about a demo ride. Joe was super responsive and we locked in a date on the calendar. The Alchemy showroom floor was super clean and adorned with beautiful bikes on display. I took the Arktos out for a test spin on my local trails and found that it performed as impressively as its build spec suggests, and after demoing a few other bikes from other manufacturers I knew this was the right bike for me. I cant say enough about the quality, fit and finish of these gorgeous bikes, but make no mistake, they perform just as well as they look. I ended up with the ST variant since it would be better suited for what and how I ride, and I couldnt be happier with my decision. Awesome company, awesome bikes, awesome people!

I just unboxed my Alchemy Arktos 29 on Thursday, beautiful bike, very happy with the bike. Dealing with Joel at Alchemy was great, he was very helpful in my decision process. The bike was built and ready for shipping quickly. Really straight forward to assemble the bike when I got it home (wheels and handlebar on and ready to go).I only have a short ride complete so far, the bike was very good and comfortable climbing. The trail conditions were not great so I cant give a review on the descending properties of the bike. Looking forward to some dry mud free rides.Highly recommend Alchemy.

I bought an Alchemy Chiron gravel bike in spring 2020. It is fantastic--the most comfortable and best handling bike Ive ever owned. Im accustomed to high-end bikes but this blows away everything else Ive owned including custom titanium frames, carbon frames, and frames from the US, France and Italy. I evaluated over a dozen brands before settling on Alchemy and am extremely happy with my choice. The staff at Alchemy was extremely helpful in fitting me, which I chose to do remotely because of COVID. I then picked up the bike at their store where the fit was fine-tuned to perfection. Everyone who helped me was patient with my questions and theyve been great at follow-up since the purchase.Im already planning to add a mountain bike and Ill definitely be back at Alchemy for it. Very highly recommended!

Swung in on the ride back from Cherry Creek Reservoir for some coffee on a cool day. Its a bit like having a Ferrari dealership on your way home from work, but more warm and inviting. Alchemy builds GORGEOUS bikes. Their carbon is worth the trip to see in person. Their coffee shop, service area, and welcoming atmosphere make this an easy call for a quick stop, esp given their close proximity to the bike trail. I was very glad to have stopped in on Sunday.

I worked with Joel who was patient and knowledgeable. Quick to respond to email and answered phone everytime. I live in CO and picked up from their shop. During the covid 19 shutdown they were very concious about safetly while getting the bikes to me. Joe was very helpful helping getting me setup and answering questions. The Arktos is a beautiful bike and rides even better. Great experience and highly recommended.

I had a delicious pour over coffee here. Great coffee with friendly staff. While I have not had the chance to ride one of there gorgeous bicycles, they really do look top of the line. If I was in the market for a custom bike I would definitely check these guys out.

A great stop while biking on the cherry creek trail. I cant afford their bike frames but I can enjoy their coffee shop and sandwiches. Theyve got a tool bench for mishaps on the trail as well as tubes chains etc. Had a wonderful tour of an upscale carbon frame factory while my blood sugar caught up with my riding plans. I want one of these bike frames!!!

I had heard about and researched Alchemy bikes before, but never had the chance to go in the shop/factory. That was until a few weeks ago, after doing a quick fix along the trail on a messed up front derailleur, there Alchemy was like a desert oasis. I stopped in and was able to put my bike up on their mech stand and use their bench tools to get my derailleur sorted out. Their staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Being able to see into the factory/warehouse is also cool - beautiful frames. AND theres a coffee shop which I have to believe is the closest/most convenient cafe for cyclists along the Cherry Creek Trail. I will be back for a snack break and to enviously look at their frames.
