We’ve been ordering the takeaway bungkus every night for the past few nights, as the restaurant is right next to our hotel. The food has been delicious every time. Tonight we decided to dine in and of course we thoroughly enjoyed it! Hands down the best Padang food we’ve ever tasted. The service was great. The staff were polite, friendly and accommodating. Big shout out to Danny who made us feel very welcome with his friendly manner and excellent english. We will definitely be returning. Highly recommended.

Just beyond Grand palace its a wonderfully located restaurant . It serves a Java cuisine which is a distant cousin to Indian Cuisine . They serve Hot tea watery instead of Water . The restaurant is nice and clean with local folk dress .

Plenty to choose from but the food was a bit cold and meat was dry. Flavours were really good but still a good nasi padang experience. Prices were reasonable as well.

Awesome I would suggest if you from India or if you like salty food instead of there sweet foods go to this restaurant. Padang food is too good and unique

Delicious Padang style food, served in multiple small servings. Might be a bit pricey than average warongs, around USD 10 per pax, but the dishes served here are absolutely yummy 😋, totally worth the price

Nice very clean colourful and roomy restaurant decorated with traditional Padang artifacts. Tables well spaced and served by polite, pleasant and helpfull staff. Food verry good with the classic Natrabu Padang cuisine. A goood enjoyable meal spicy and flavourful. Prices reasonable and parking easy.

Padang was very flavorful.Meat was cooked reasonably skillfully, though rather inconsistently within the same dish. The Rendang tended to be on the drier side, but was within reasonable bounds.The curry egg was amazing!

Absolutely disgusting! Cold food, super dry chicken and expensive for nothing. The food came in literally seconds (I don’t wanna know how long they have been standing in the back...) we didn’t wanna be rude so we ate some of the plates, but it was cold and dry. Even though we didn’t eat much (we even had to go to another restaurant because we still were hungry) the price was to much for what we took (you pay after how much you eat).If you want hot, cooked, fresh food and nice service, don’t go to this place.

With regards to the food, please note that this is pretty much fixed menu restaurant where in they will serve everything they have, and they would bill you based on what you eat or touch.so, for sure if youre not planning on eating some particular dish, dont play or fidget with it. Youll get billed! The food by itself is pretty good, I like the rendang and 2-3 other options. Please note that getting a delivery from this resto is not recommended by me , because if the food isnt hot, wouldnt taste the same.

This place is exactly like your typical Padang restaurant - a mini buffet with a variety of flavors and textures are brought to your table, but you only pay for the plates which you eat from. The room is spacious and air-conditioned, with an abundance of seats for any size party. This is a well-run restaurant serving delicious Indonesian food at a reasonable price. Visit this place if your schedule allows it!

Delish Padang foodBut the waitress needs more training. When I asked for spare fork because the one they gave me is dirty, she didnt believe it, insisted I could still use the fork, and asked for a proof. Only after I showed her, she finally gave me another fork 🤦🏻She also miscalculated our food which results in overcharged bill. If we didnt recheck the bill, we will be charged more than what weve eaten

Food was ok

We had high hopes for this restaurant given the great reviews, unfortunately they were not met. We were seated immediately upon entering and were not asked for our orders, instead an assortment of dishes were brought out to us within minutes. Confused, but hungry, we began to eat what we could. It was very evident that the food served was not fresh, some items were even inedible. In the end we found out that you pay for each item you eat (or attempt to eat). Price was high for the quality of food received.

Though price is not common compared with other Padang restaurant, still worth trying. Wouldnt regret!

As I am part south and part west of Sumatra, Sumatran Food is of course my traditional food Im use to eat everyday and well known the taste. So I said this place is the closest to the original Sumatran food in Bali ☺ Price may be a bit higher than the smaller Sumatran resto but its worth it👍👍

You can see the majestic setting of Minangkabaus wedding and take some pictures.The food is great too.You have to try the Ayam Gulai.The best in Bali!Other places will just give you that over-salty taste, but in Natrabu, the Gulai is a perfect combination of spices. Salty but a bit sweet and not too spicy.The Rendang is great too, but for elderly people, the meat might be a little too tough. Just a little.The perkedel is okay.I like the Ikan Asin Sambal Hijau actually, but be very careful with the fin because its cooked together so you might choke on it if youre not careful. (I know because I choked on it once).I brought my Australian friends there and they were very happy with the taste.
