Just amazing 😯. We rode here and found all, for what we want that weekend. Nothing is beautiful than nature and no song can give us pleasure like nature sounds. We enjoyed the ride very much on this route also from Delhi. We saw the beautiful peacocks, flamingos and also the city aerial view from lakeside. I love this place very much.

Great place to bike to. The road leading up to this point from Dwarka following the canal is really beautiful. Wonderful scenery and lots of birds.During the monsoon the ride paddies are bright green and line up the opposite side of the road.Well worth a visit from with Gurgaon or Delhi

A haven for cyclists and cycling!!! The route is properly tarred . Its 30 km one side from dwarka . The canal runs across the road the whole time . This ensures that cool breeze is blowing throughout your journey . At the 30th km the drain converts into a pure river where u can see people catching fish !!

Its a very beautiful meet point specially for cyclist who ride in Delhi/NCR.. The area has very little traffic and has a decent road for cycling. So many migratory birds are here specially in winters.

Nothing much to see, no infra close by. Some development around it can make it better.

Hey! This place can give you the best time of your weekend. Ive been here several times and I suggest you going there by cycle or a 2 wheeler at the time of sun rise before monsoon and once after it rains heavily in delhi. Theres a turning point of the canal or the curve where you could capture the sunrise with the lake and Im hesitating while writing this beacuse my words do not describe the feelings that occurred when I witnessed it. Have a good day.peaceEdit: watch out for high speed haryanvi drivers on the narrow roads running parallel to the canal/lake, theyre fast but youre grownups !To be taken here: Vehicle documents, water, unusual snacks- something so tasty, Decent camera and some silence.

Its hardly a lake, more like a canal, spreading out to a large wetland at one end. But lots of greenery, a lovely drive and good birding opportunities.

Rather than destination, journey itself is wonderful. The road along the Najafgarh Drain provides panoramic views. It is popularly knows as canal road. Its famous among cyclist, walkers and runners. The road is very calm with few vehicles passing. Just see the photos for reference. It is better to see rather than read review, what this area has to offer..

Nice place to cycle to from Dwarka(50-60km round trip). Smooth road with nice view of canal on one side and fields on the other.

I love to explore new places, this is one of them. I found it by Google map. Lake is very long and beautiful.. there is a road running by the side of this lake. This road is best for cycling n running... u can also see huge wetlands on this route where u can see many beautiful n migratory birds..

Cycling Track is Very Good but try to visit here early Morning bcoz returning journey may be quiet tough bcoz roads are directly affected by Sun. There is nothing like Lake only small barage type. But lots of people come here. No Shop and Any village is situated at this place so one should carry food items and water. No water available here nearby. After reading about this place Internet, I was much excited but after reaching here did not find anything like as I expected. Pls carry Food, Water and Puncture Kit as well as tools.

Najafgarh Lake is a wonderful place for Bird Watchers. Best time to visit is middle of January when there are many species from around the world.

Spotted greater flamingos twice there

This isnt najafgarh lake...this is approximately 5000 acres of land which belongs to the farmers of nearby villages which they are not able to cultivate due to negligence of Haryana government because the govt fails to make proper channel for the waste drain. The water that is filled there is all waste sewage water which is not only polluting the environment but has also made the land barren under it.
