Very polite and Gentle Doctor I have ever met. He is really down to earth and done successfull CABG of my father. Response was very good.

I have lost my father due to him. He was gone on some other work or a trip, and leave the patient in the critical condition. I never forgive him for his work and will not suggest him to others.

I must say he was very polite and sweet. In my case he was not able to assess the correct condition of my father according to him there were only 2% risk and suggest us open heart surgery. We had gone with his suggestion but after that the situation became worst regarding his lungs and then all his team including him was not able to handle the situation and trying to justify by saying that my father already had an patch of infection in his lungs which flaired up after this surgery and we are not sure wheather we can save him or not and finally we lost our father. He should had told us about this before surgery so that we could save him.

My uncle had an heart attack in Kashipur, Uttarakhand on 8th November, 2020. Initially, we had him admitted in the local hospital in Kashipur. Seeing no sight of improvement, the doctor in Kashipur referred him to Dr. Ritwick Raj in Delhi for open heart surgery. The surgery was performed successfully on 16th November, 2020. The detailed review of each aspect of our interaction with the doctor, hospital and his team follows:Doctor:An exceptional professional who knows his job well. He is also very humble and tried to resolve every query we had, to our satisfaction. Within 2 hours of the admission, he met us and explained the condition of my uncle. He also updated us at every stage of the process. The condition of my uncle was a serious one and he dealt it with an impeccable grit. We are highly satisfied with his treatment.Hospital (Max Patparganj, Delhi):The hospital is good. They took care of the hygiene and sanitation very well in the times of Covid. Staff is co-operative but not always. We had few hiccups when we went for the follow-up. Once, there was no person (GDA) available to take my uncle to the X-ray room on wheel chair. Overall, their services are fine but I felt theyre little overpriced.The Doctors Team:His team included Mr. Dwivedi and Ms. Pooja.Mr. Dwivedi is one fine professional. He was the first point of contact for us at the hospital. When we reached the hospital for the first time, in the Emergency, he made the process a lot quicker and smooth. We didnt face any issue when we got my uncle admitted. He took care of most of the other things as well, like accommodation. Most of the times, he made himself available to us whether it is a working day or not.Ms. Pooja is a straightforward lady. She did his job well. There were some issues with the billing part, but they were taken care of.Overall, our experience was good.We thank the doctor and his team from the bottom of our hearts. We wish strength to all of you to save the peoples lives.

My father was diagnosed with some cardiac problems in Guwahati and was under medication for two months. Later it was found out that he had degenerative severe aortic stenosis, which demands a valve replacement. I took him to Delhi for proper diagnosis and my friends and a senior cardiologist suggested Dr Ritwick Raj Bhuyan considering my father’s age (which is 76), as they feel Dr Bhuyan will be the best cardiac surgeon to treat him.So after initial tests, I went to Dr Bhyuan for his advice. From the very first consultation, I felt a sense of security and trust as his way of dealing with us was very transparent with a homely attitude. My father who was worried earlier about an operation, was quite happy after discussing with Dr Bhyuan about his treatment.Finally, he got admitted in Max Patparganj and was undergone minimal invasive aortic valve replacement on 6th March, 19. Dr and his team took care of every issues those may be there during operation and thereafter and they discussed it with us giving the said sense of security and trust. The whole team was taking care of my father quite professionally.We had to face some post operational complications, which is due to the age of my father who was hesitant to do the minimum exercises, even though all the vitals related to heart were perfect. He had a pleural effusion after a week of operation and then had some acute exacerbation of psychosis after almost a month. In both the cases, Dr Bhuyan has taken charge of those issues bringing experts to his team recognizing the seriousness of those problems. Even after I myself suggested to check an expert for psychosis, it was Dr Bhuyan who himself wanted to handle the issue and have shown his commitment to the patient he handled. I am sort of words for these kind of gestures from a busy expert like him, a simple praise will be nothing considering post operation, every time I texted or called he picks up the phone and listens every issues carefully and comes up with an advice/solution. I bow to his personality, his behavior, his attitude towards my father and us and always will be grateful. I am thankful to the whole team under him and can recommend him to anyone who is looking for a cardio surgeon for their near and dear ones.
