Came to see monastery market was disappointed with clothes quality .But then visited zomsa restaurant ordered chicken momos and hot & sour soup its was really tasty .But if you dont like spicy then will suggest as you order tell them u need less spicy .Chicken momos has the taste of Dharamshala momos may be because all the staff and cook are from Ladakh .You can come with family ,smiling staff its a different experience which you can only have in tibetian restaurant.Car parking is on main road u have to walk for 5 mint to reach here

Food is very good and its value for money , must try for Tibetan cuisine . Ive been going there for like 10 years and the taste is still the same good as it was years back. Mutton shapta dry is a must try or you can try it with chicken . Motton kothay , chicken in hot garlic sauce along with Tingmo re the best combination . They do not serve pork or beef . Ambience is nice people are good too also not expensive at all.

The food is decent at reasonable rate. However, I dont know why they have not provided me proper bill in the end. I asked them to provide proper bill but they refused then i payed the amount using my debit card and they were still asking for cash. This is corrupt practice which i never appreciate.Whatever the reason is, they are earning alot and they must pay proper tax.

Looking for a place for tasty authentic Chinese/Tibetan food ! GO FOR IT.Situated in the Tibetan Market, this place got me back to the memory lanes of the times o used to go there as a kid.The food specially the thukpa was nice and bland, just the way I like it.The Chopsuey was delicious. And the Chowmein too was really nice.Where the food is good, I tend to over eat and out here, it couldn’t have been an exception. The staff is friendly.Chinese lovers, it’s a MUST visit.Non-vegetarians , remember - Wednesday is a VEG only day for them. So you’ll only be served Veg on Wednesday’s.

Tucked away in small lane of Monastery market (Buddha Vihar market) is this lil cozy place. Zomsa is the very first Tibetan restaurant I visited more than a decade back and till today its my only go to place for Thukpa and soups. Apart from Tibetan dishes they offer variety of dishes . The owners are extremely warm and welcoming couple.Quick Tip : It sees a lot of rush on Sundays. Also, they dont serve non veg on Wednesdays.

I am going to Zomsa since many years. More than a decade. In school days we used to come to monastery for buying jeans and Tshirts and eat at Honey restaurant. It closed but thank God Zomsa was there. You will get good Momos, Tingmo, Soups and other items. Must try is Mutton Shabtak dry which is my personal favourite. Noodles and Rice are also good. Parking is nearby 50/-. Please try it without fear.

After entering in the restaurant,we got our dining.Everything was good there, ambience was great, hygiene was maintained on the next level, food presentation was awesome but all above the below food taste was not that authentic one wish to have at an elegant Chinese or Tibetan restaurant.Respose from the waiter or owner (only a guy was there at dining place on 8 tables and in between 14 people was there on spot at that time) was zero.Tilak was his name and his customer service was completely unsatisfactory.Owner mustve to think about it.
