Location was awesome. Food quality was good but was not maintained very well. None of the staff was deputed for room cleaning on daily basis. It could have been much better in terms of hospitality.

Service could be better. Scenic location and and on foothill besides a small river. Good getaway spot. Getting service is a pain. Rooms lack basic amenities like TV and phones.

Best of the location with courteous staff. Some mismanagement is there due to not so trained staff however overall worth while. For service, ask guy named Deepak as he is the best they have. Best of the attitude with always smiling and ready to serve food even late night.

They have only 7-8 ppl working round the clock when there should be atleast staff of over 15 ppl.Free breakfast is just namesake. They only prepare 1-2 dishes & that too no option of juice or coffee.So my view is, If you are looking for a place to relax & enjoy drinks & not worry about room service & all then go for the place. One of the best places I have been to. A very detailed architecture which ensure comfortable stay of visitors. Hospitality is at par and unmatched. And a breakfast near the stream is a cherry on the cake.

I am writing this review to thank the exquiste arrangement , management and decoration executed in our wedding which held on 7th Jul 2021.First and foremost the location is superb and the connectivity is seamless bia air, road and train. Located at the heart of Dehradun and next to very famous tourist spot Robbers cave.. reaching there is fairly simple.The architecture of the whole resort is superb including spacipus rooms and well maintained grounds and very coorperative staff.I want to special thanks to Mr Sanjiv , Mrs Anjana and Mr Naveen who made awesome arrangements and were available throughout day and night. Also the food throughout breakfast, lunch and dinner was delicious all the guests praised about the food and arrangements whihc was very satisfying.So we had our love marriage planned there on 30th April but many ups and downs due to covid situation , dates were postponed but the whole team was extremenly cooperating and everything happened at the best possible way.Decoration by Mr.Abhinav and Aura the wedding journey was great and in all regards, arrangements and customisations on the basis iof our choice was taken care word by word many thanks to all the team.Finally just one suggestion, to keep intercoms in the Rio 2 property to make things more seam less.More than 5 starts rating for evrything.Thanks,Anjali&Deep

Good enough ... Value for money... Staff was good ... but services need significant improvement ... we used to get breakfast after around 45 to 60 min of ordering. Room service was also not that good.Peaceful environment... except when there is no marriage or any other party there. Running stream beside resort is good place to relax. Happy Vacation!!!

My experience at Rio Resort is very disappointing. Breakfast were cold. Services are bad. Nobody will ask you for anything. Food is very expensive. Although location is very beautiful. There is a river besides the resort.

My worst experience for a Staycation, would never recommend anyone for this property. Owner was too rude, while we were checking the property she straight away came screaming at us saying that this is a resort not a company garden to roam around.And then at the time of check out there were some unnecessary payment demands by Management. We saw similar cases happening while checking in but never knew that our Staycation would also end in similar manner.The management staff is not at all trained, there were no sanitizers available, no masks used by staff, no precautions were taken against COVID-19. Worst was when asked they said Arre koi Corona worona nhi hai Sir.

Third class food qualityStaff is extremely unprofessional in Behaviour.Theres is no safety for family, Ive visited the place with family but owner was sitting with my family even while we were having dinner.

Best Destination Wedding Venue @RioResort We had an amazing time at a 3 day event which included haldi ceremony, engagement, sangeet, main wedding.Each of the functions were diligently taken care of,adhered to timelines, well synchronised.Everything was top-notch be it food, decor or Rooms. We were delighted with the services we had received, the staff was considerate and Co-operative. We felt happy being in a very hospitable environment.We would like to thank everyone who was a part of the team that has worked on our event the managers for the management, the chefs for the finger-licking food, decor team for decorations.Thanks a lot #TeamRio

Left Disappointed by this resort. Confirmed booking over phone for celebrating my mum’s birthday - the resort folks told us about a day picnic package that we very quickly accepted. We also asked for a room (for which we were paying for) so that my father could rest during the day. Everything was agreed over the phone and we were not asked to make any booking online. On the day we were scheduled to go, they called us and told us that they can no longer provide us with a room as they have had a big booking for all rooms. As these people were willing to pay a lot more, the resort could no longer accommodate our request for the room. I only wish they had told us about this when confirming our booking over the phone as then we would have been able to plan a different way to celebrate and not left disappointed last minute. With this experience I wouldn’t recommend this resort for any special experience/celebrations.

It is a very beautiful place in the outskirts of the city near Robbers Cave. Good for small parties and get togethers. You can enjoy its best at night. You can experience fresh breeze and the sound of river flowing at the backside of the resort. A cool climate even in summers. Rooms are very clean and tidy with comfortable beds and furniture. The location is also very beautiful. You can also visit the Lord Shiva temple just beside the resort.

Rio is a Beautiful Resort, ideal for destination weeding.Ample space for all. Kids space also there.

Site is good; food is also good. However the toilets are not properly maintained. No idea about the toilets attached to individual huts; however the outside toilets are in poor condition.

The location and setting is awesome with the river flowing by and open lawns and huts. However, needs better manning on services front, intercom, TV in rooms and WiFi must be there...all this especially when they charge so much, I paid almost 6000 per night including breakfast, dinner and taxes. A restaurant at the resort would also be good. done
