The ambience is great but the food is undercooked and no one seemed to care. The coffee was fine. I usually do not eat at coffee shops, I had to take a chicken roll and it is was pathetic. They are seriously putting Baristas name at stake

The network does not work here and had high expectations from hot chocolate but it was okayish. The sandwich was also very regular, less flavourful. The incharge behind the counter seemed pretty rude and asked not to take pictures whereas there are ample photos of the place on this platform.If you wish to disconnect from the world for few hours, you can sit here but one cannot sit here and work without internet plus they do not have any wifi.

Nice ambience. Average coffee. So are the sandwiches. Music is routine. They have a library one must visit.

Cappuccino was average green apple lemonade was good but that chicken sandwich not so good I got that sour smell giving 3 star cause lady there was polite but food were not that good

One of the best coffee place to visit. The ambience is very good. Coffee was amazing and I just loved every thing. You also have a book corner for book lover who can also spend there time by reading. The service was very good all the people were understanding and they were attending customer in a proper manner. Very neat and clean place.

Average coffee, though its served quite hot and they are taking many precautions against corona virus. The muffins I ordered were not done at all, felt soggy, may be during reheating. But it didnt feel good at all. There is a book store behind it and you can see whats going on inside that store and they can see you too.Feels like being watched 😀

Barista is barista, I mean you get standard coffee which is good. But I dont like how they push people to buy expensive water bottles in their cafe. I waited 25 min for glass of water. Which is not cool.

With its comfiest ambiance and wonderful delicacies, this coffee spot proves to be one of the most deserving place to visit on a cold winter evening. Lovely staff members and the English Book Deppt at corner have to be the cherries on the cake. Its my go-to place ever since I became a coffee-person!

Barista has now got a much needed refreshment in the ambiance hence Im updating my review, the best Frappe is the city, plus a great nostalgic factor.

This outlet is very near the central clock tower. Fabulous ambiance. Lively staff and with recent move to all disposables a very welcome move. 5 stars just for that. Another 5 star for the new menu items like chicken momos wraps and biryani makes it a more to visit place now.

Amazing coffee and cozy atmosphere. Love going Barista. They have some special offers for chocolates. Once I got a box of chocolate with 2 cup of coffee. That was amazing too. Apart from coffee. They have amazing cups and French coffee jar. I bought it and it works really well.

Barista is that one place where I love to hang out with my friends and spend hours chit-chatting with them. The ambience is warm and welcoming. For book worms, there is a book store inside and if you are into music then grab the guitar that sits in the café all the time. But what I am not content with is its choices of eats available for order. Many a times, what the menu offers is unavailable. So in that respect, as far as their food is concerned, I wish they could maintain the kind of great experience that I recently had here. I love their Cappuccino and Spinach Corn Sandwich. In short, I love Barista because it feels like home but yes, the non-availability of food items from their menu can be disappointing at times

Buyer beware : This is NOT the Barista you are coming thinking of. It has been refurbished under a new management and the quality of products has gone to dogs since then. 400 bucks for a cold coffee? Excuse me? Are you trying to compete with Costa or Starbucks? If yes then improve your product. And also teach your staff to be a little respectful towards the customer. Just harping we serve Arabica coffee everytime does not make your coffee right by itself. The name Barista is ironical to this Cafe. Better have a coffee at The Buffet just outside.

It is my go to place for an amazing cup of coffee...I just love the ambeince and the smell of coffee as you enter. There is an english book depot right behind barista where I go to choose a book to read while i sip my coffee. You can try chocolate excess pastry if you have a sweet tooth. The only issue is that their washroom is extremely dirty...otherwise i could have given a five star.

In the days of yore when Dehradun was a quaint old town, we had the English Book Depot (EBD) that was a landmark for the town. The book store gave way to the changing times and in came the franchise business given to Barista and years later Barista Lavazza. The bookstore has been relegated to the rear end of the coffee shop.The coffee shop is in dire need for a paint job and change in upholstery. The coffee is becoming expensive with quality taking a dip. More variety in sandwiches are required. Excellent location but poorly kept. There was a time when I saw the likes of Tom Alter and the literary community give it a feel of the old coffee shops of Calcutta, alas no more! I will choose books over a cup of coffee.

Great place to gossip with friends and Coffee..ambience is good...the place us close to Ghanta Ghar(Clock Tower) in Dehradoon...You can shop in Big Bazaar which is nearby or in Paltan Bazar as well....On the back of this Caffee house there is also one Library which is running since 1930 ......

This used to be book depo only but owner made a smart move and shifted the depo to the back, opened the Coffee house upfront.Great Combo Coffee + Books.
