A cafΓ© with a authentic story crossed from Africa to the Ottoman Empire and three generations long. A very cozy, sweet small place! Special with the interior and vintage design. Here you can enjoy a delicious coffee during your walk through Galata and arround. Staff is really friendly and helpfull. RecommendedπŸ‘Œ @Selontour

A cute little cafe just around from the Galata Tower. Plenty of Grandmas effects on the wall.A nice experience but it would be really nice if the staff didnt stand at the counter chatting for the entire time we were there - it was just behind us. Didnt they have work to do for 30 minutes?

Decided to try this place after reading the reviews. It was very difficult to find at first because the area is very congested and its in a very narrow street. Anyway after locating it i peeked inside and it was a tiny cafe full of customers. I managed to find the only table empty and sat down ordered. The atmosphere and the ambiance is not spectacular but its very comforting and warm. The staff were very polite and welcoming. My toast arrived and it was very basic but very tasty and natural. I really enjoyed this place. I would definitely return.

Amazing breakfast. My fiancee and I ordered the shared breakfast for two and it was so delicious. After, we ordered Turkish coffee and we were asked to choose which vintage teacup (some date back to the 50s)to drink from - very nice touch! The staff were extremely hospitable, and the vibe of the cafe is homely and cosy. One of the best cafes in Istanbul.

Unique atmosphere. You will find this place either by great chance or by looking thoroughly, it has a small entrance but since the very first step you will find yourself in a parallel universe. French old music playing and an ambiance that recall Montmartre’s vibes. Took a Turkish coffee and a small sweet that filled some time in our Galata tour. Good choice in furnishing the place and I really liked the part where you chose your cup after hearing a brief historic intro of each. Just go there and get transported!

This place is an embarrassment to Turkish food. Not authentic at all. You pay money for the location but the amount of food and the quality of food is not worth it at ALL. The location is excellent, the decor is very nice. The serpme (typical Turkish breakfast) includes a single boiled egg to share between 2 people. No sign of menemen, only a single jam. No refills of Turkish tea. No Turkish sausage. This place is extremely popular with tourists however theyre unfamiliar with the real Turkish culture. For a better experience, head to F&B culture which is only a few minutes away and get a real Turkish breakfast with more food, less money and better customer service.

Five star Turkish breakfast plate. If you’re not familiar these plates have a central plate with 3 types of cheese and 14 tiny side dishes with everything from olives and Zatar to homemade honey and homemade marmalade ( the orange and quince where to die for!). This breakfast also came with all you can drink tea. I got a Turkish coffee on the side and they let you choose which antique cup to drink with!We also had their borek and menemen , both where superb dishes.Lastly, this place gets five stars for ambiance alone. It’s full of antiques and fine china. Feels like you’re in a tea shop, my wife and mother in law where very impressed (tough to do but always try to impress that mother in law.)
