I have stayed at this hotel on a number of occasions and also lived in one to the serviced apartments for approximately one year. The hotel is stunning and the views amazing.

All was good - except one day the behavior of one of the in-room dining guys over phone. He had sent chicken quinoa by mistake instead of veg quinoa and later was rude when we requested to replace it.

Actually a very nice hotel with good staff, great spa plant and views of Baku. The rooms were also very beautiful and big. But when we were there, there were some delegations from Central Asia, the associated security personnel was very unkind. It was very impractical to come into the building. We had to wait and join a queue with our heavy luggage to come in. After that, a security dropped our camera bag, luckily nothing broken. I hope the hotel will communicate better in the future when they can have such events so you can descide if you want to go or search for another.

We from hayat regency to fairmount flame tower hotel . Me and my aunt came at saturday night there was person in the reception called umidvar he was so nice and very kind person and so welcoming. So we make the reservation . On sunday we did the check in it was so fast my aunt didnt like the view room he changed it for us. No words can describe the hotel ,A very beautiful and unusual hotel, located in the flame towers on a hill with spectacular views of the city and the sea .The most luxurious hotel! The most luxurious design and finishing materials, amazing service and courteous, excellent rooms and clean. New bathroom. You cant compare with any hotels in the world apart from the hotels in vegas .The breakfast was so delecious .The hotel has inside and outside swimming pool . Spa center was The staff in the break fast was so nice especially sabina and murad .And special thanks to shahin for the fast check out .

I give 5 Stars for this Hotel. Although we only experienced the goodness of the staff and the beauty of the hotel views and amenities but also we experienced some discomforts inside the hotel premises. We left the Hotel last January 3, 2020. The goodness based on our experiences in this hotel are the personnel are very friendly in the reception desks and every where they smile when we meet them, the luggage boy was very attentive to ask if we still need some help in some other things. Then when became our room at 3 pm we hurriedly rushed in to relaxed because we were tired from our travel. Another thing that impressed us was bec we were in a hurry to come inside our room we forgot my Winter Coat outside which i hanged in one of the Lobbys corner Couch. It had stayed their surely more than 3 hours already . When i noticed that my cellphone was gone i remembered i placed it in my Winter coat and my Coat is not in the room so i tried to recall that it might be left anywhere in the lobby, so i rushed in going downstairs to the lobby and i luckily found my Coat still hanging in one corner Couch. My husband said: You see no one is stealing your Coat here. They are honest. Yes thats true because my Cellphone was still in my Winter coat too! Another incident: my husband forget one bag where we sat to drink a cup of coffee in the Balcon Cafe. When i started to pack our Luggage i remembered we have had a paper bag from United Colors of Benetton with two hats inside. When i come back the following day and told the Male personnel about my lost bag he handed it back to me after describing what was in. Therefore, i can say they are honest in this way too. The Beauty we experienced in this Hotel are the Amenities: Our room was 60 sq m big. with wide range of City Center View. I took pictures of the Caspian Sea View i just went to the 28th floor by elevator. The room has everything what a 5 star hotel offers. Everything is in order and clean. They serve 4 bottles of 0,5 l still water every day. We told to the cleaning lady not to clean our room because we wanted our privacy but she still cleaned the room which is positively understandable anyway. Everything that has something to do with mechanisms inside the rooms are functioning well except the WIFI is not stable in providing us internet access. It get lost sometimes that we have to reconnect again and again. Until my husband went with his Laptop in the Lobby to connect it for us. They gave us 24hrs connection. ( OMG why not just giving us the exact Password!!) They said when we come in we are automatically connected. No password needed. Then in the TV not much English and German Channels to see.( Anyway these are only small things to complain about). another negative comment is about the luggage management. They are not well keep in the safe space. They are here and there in the lobby area. The rest are satisfactorily met as expected in a 5 stars hotel. So i planned to visit this Hotel again.

Highly recommend staying at The Flame Hotel. Excellent service from the start. We got the Gold room upgrade which I would highly recommend. We did have the city views which gave us spectacular sunsets every evening. The spa is amazing and the food of a very high standard. Thank you Fairmont Flame Hotel for making our first visit to Baku an unforgettable experience.

Wow.. It was nice experience.. We had problem in the room in the beginning but thanks to their wonderful management problem, was solved to much better room and facilities.. The hotel restaurant are amazing, hospitality is spectacular.. Special thanks to Mr. Kamil Manager there and very special thanks to Ms. Alya at reception in morning shift.. I always believed to experience local hotels in the town I visit but fairmont proofed that international standards can last everywhere all the time..

Stunning hotel with incredible views but the service is shocking. Someone with access to our room (presumably a staff member) stole my bank details and tried to carry out a series of transactions over 4 different cards I had left in the room (luckily my card companies caught it early). When it was reported to the hotel they completely ignored my email. If you stay here ensure ALL your valuables are kept in the safe in the room.

A really nice hotel. Location is great, because its really close to city center and old town. It has taxis in front of the hotel at all times, so it is really easy to go anywhere. We had an amazing view from our room, cant get enough of it. ☺️ Super comfortable, clean rooms and good room service. Breakfast is also delicious and has a nice variety of everything. It also has vegan food. Hotel has a nice pool outside and inside, two jacuzzis and saunas. Nice spa for relaxing.

Worse experience at Fairmont hotel.Went for a 4 days holiday and stayed at the Fairmont Hotel everything was going smoothly. I had my money in a wallet inside a small bag hidden firmly between my clothes in my luggage. And i did not take my wallet outside the hotel at all. When we checked out and when i reached the airport, i checked my wallet and my money was gone is was a big amount of money, i immediatly tried to contact the hotel but did not receive a response so i contacted the police and sent an email to the police station and i was advised to travel and they will contact me. I followed up with the hotel and they kept telling me that they are investigating and they are asking all the employees and will get back to me after a long bad 2 days i received a call that they were not able to find my money. I am so sure that my money was stolen from my bag inside the hotel. Since i had money from different currency that i will not use in Baku. This bad experience ruined my holiday i am still working closely with Baku Police who were very helpful and helped me and still helping me a lot. I hope that i will be able to get my money back. I know that i should not keep my money in my luggage and i should have used the safe but this is not an excuse to be robbed in such a well reputated hotel.Be aware of the places your are staying in dont trust the stars.

Amazing hotel.. Sarvan (Receptionist), Rustom (Duty Manager incharge) and the Duty manager were extremely helpful and solved my issue. Thanks to them. The hotel is located with wonderful views sea and city views are both spectacular. Rooms are very clean. Staff is attentive and friendly. Gold lounge is amazing with their staff comfortable seatings and views. Great for families and couples. Locatin is very good, walking distance to the Funicular, carpet museum, highland park, baku boulevard, etc.

Modern high quality hotel and gentel managers on duty who will accommodate and escorts u very smoothly, has nice spa and a professional massage with khadija, rooms are modern and well furnished, breakfast has great variety and delicious taste options ( british, continental and fruits), room service food was also great, lamb chobs and burgers, swimming pool is perfect also has nice souna and steam rooms.. really was a great option as its close to main attractions in baku,Thank you

Brilliant Hotel. I stayed in one of the suites and it was impeccable. The pizzas are really good.Some of the cocktails on the poolside are really good.I loved the unique grand piano in the lobby. One of 3 in the world i was told.The exec lounge on the 18th floor is simply eclectic. Interiors are fab and view is phenonmenal.

Really good five star hotel with amazing view over Baku bay. It is within one of the signature buildings of the city, the Flame Towers. Pool ist great, food and cocktails are delicious, interior and rooms are comfortable and rather new. There ist lots of room and everything ist very clean. However, compared to other hotels of this (price) category there are some minor points that were a bit disappointing and could be improved maybe: First of all, the service is a bit passive and one has the feeling of having to beg for attention sometimes. That is especially during breakfast which also suffers from being pretty loud and crowded due to lots of children, limited space and no carpets (Strange because everywhere else they have huge amounts of space and carpets). Another point ist the gold lounge access. It is a nice feature but executed poorly. 1. Self service, 2. Very young and obviously unexperienced waiters (e.g. looking for white wine outside the fridge) 3. No sparkling wine included. Another point was the disappointing Signature Cocktails in the 19th floor bar. They were undrinkable tasting very artificial (sweet - syrup?, maybe made by unexperienced waiters?). Better use the bar at the Jazz Club (3rd Floor), as they got a great bartender and a good selection.So overall: Very nice place with potential concerning staff. Compared to other hotels in the world service lacks a bit of speed and professionality.

Truly the best place to stay in Baku. Rooms very huge, well organized and very clean. Awesome view of ocean, city and Baku eye. In the night, when tower light up with its famous colorful lights, it makes it even more beautiful

Its a lovely place to stay. The towers give you a spectacular view of the Caspian sea from one side. The service is also very nice and they have excellent staff. I had been here as a part of the group tour so they had special arrangements for Indian food. The food was unbelievably good. Overall the stay was worthy and I will never forget this experience.

Everything about the hotel is beautiful. The location .. the stay. I was here with an Indian group for their award night celebration. I give them a 4 star only because I didnt want to eat Indian Breakfast with the group and wanted to eat at their continental bf at TheBristo ( thier regular bf area ) but the lady in charge of The Area didnt allow me to switch menus even upon the request of the main travel organizer .They said you have to asked me to pay extra if you want to eat continental 😳

The hotel, located in one of the iconic Flame Towers, is one of the best hotels in Baku.If you take accommodation here get a sea view room, it is spectacular!Service is outstanding, starting from the reception staff, concierge (that was very helpful during my entire stay, making all the reservations and finding solutions for all my requirements) and restaurant staff.

Wow. Great hotel! Gives this hotel at least 7 stars. Everything is clean and polished, the place is beautiful, innovative design and at a very high level. I loved the spa on the 5th floor with an indoor pool and two large spa pools. Also the dry and wet sauna and all this overlooks the whole view of the Caspian Sea. The staff are extraordinarily courteous. recommended!

Had room on 17th floor. Big room city view. Minibar filled excellent. Bed comfortable and tv and channels excellent.The breakfast is amazing.Friendly staff and helpfull.

I wish I could give this hotel -5 stars! We booked 2 rooms a month prior to our arrival to Baku. 3 days before our arrival we received an e-mail notifying us that our booking has been cancelled. Fairmont hotel already charged us for the rooms, which was a big surprise to us. We have called them to inquire about the CANCELLATION. We were notified that a government delegation is coming to fairmont and thus they cancelled our reservation to accommodate us. They did not even bother to provide us with an alternative. I cant believe its an international hotel chain with ZERO customer service.

We stayed in April in two hotels in Baku, one of the hotels was Fairmont.Fairmont is a great hotel overlooking the city, ask to be given a room with a sea view, preferably above the 18th floor.We were given a great big room with a sea view.the room had a nespresso coffee pot with capsules (although most of the capsules were with decafeinate), a teapot with several types of tea (although there was only 1 black tea packet, the rest with bergamot, thyme and fruit).The bathroom and toilet were clean, although I had to call the reception desk 5-6 times to get toothbrushes and toothpaste.My wife and I put our used toothbrushes in separate water cups.when they clean the hotel, the workers for some reason think that they know better what we need and put these brushes in one glass, in the end we have to throw them out.and these same workers, when they change everything at the hotel, see these brushes, believe that we do not need new brushes.so we had to call the reception every time after cleaning, so that new brushes were brought to us.the hotel has a very nice pool, though small, probably 25 m long3 minuses in this hotel:1 - no balconies to go out for some fresh air.2 - expensive breakfasts - 42 azn per person ($ 25), that is, breakfast for two will cost you $ 50.if your company pays for you, it doesn’t give a damn, but if you pay yourself, then leave the hotel, walk down 500-800 meters and down in Icheri Shahyar for 10-15 dollars you will get breakfast 100 times better than in a hotel.the hotel guests did so.3 - cleaners change brushes as they want.if you pay directly to the hotel, and not via the booking com, you will get a good discountask for a sea view room

I came here for the massage. Gaya was very very succesfull. It was the best massage in my life. Other than that, i liked sauna it is comfortable and sea view. Also there is sleeping pods really good idea after massage for sleep a bit.But my favorite area is garden at the massage room floor.

A good hotel, very nice views and great food. The only problem I faced was that they never changed the sheets or towels, you have to ask them, sorry but I thought that was a 5 star hotel they SHOULD change the sheets and towels Everytime they clean the room so thats why I gave it a 3 star rating

What an amazing place, hotel is luxurious on the inside as it is on the outside. Staff is very courteous. There is a lady who plays the piano very beautifully. Ambiance is very relaxed and luxurious.

Nice hotel !! Amazing views, quick checkin. Clean, comfortable rooms. Excellent breakfast, great service. Fast wifi but no english tv channels apart from news & sport. Got a room on 26th Floor but sound proofing weak, it was a windy day during our stay and constant banging on windows due to strong winds. Would definitely stay again but in a room where there is no wind noice.

Sadly the hotel is not up to Fairmont standards. Having stayed at Fairmont The Palm in Dubai and in Monte Carlo several times, this comes not even close to the others when it comes to services. We booked Fairmont Gold One bedroom Suite, upon arrival we were invited to go up to the 19th floor where there was nobody to greet us at the reception desk, after having waited for 5 min I found the waiter in the Gold Lounge and asked him to call someone. Then check in was ok, went out for lunch and came back at 3 pm, room was not ready yet, waited another one hour to move in. We found disgusting stains, like oil or cream spread on the inner side of the room door, glass marks on the shelf, dust on the desk and threads on the carpet. I do not know what took so long for housekeeping if they left the suite in such bad condition. We booked for 3 persons, the extra bed was not there, then in the evening we realized that big bath towels were also missing. Very disappointing. Next morning on the way for breakfast found vomit in the middle of the corridor nearby the lifts, informed guest services, on the way back to our room saw that despite most has been cleaned, bits and pieces were still there on the floor and on the wall. Disgusting. In the room you have to wait 2-3 min until the water gets warm, that is unacceptable in an almost brand new hotel.

When I was staying in the hotel, one of the staff members helped me with the change machine in the lobby, and then a large sum of my money simply disappeared. The staff member offered his help as a VIP service. Later I found out that I wasnt the only person that this happened to her, and the hotel admitted that this is the case.I was in touch with the hotel for weeks but they didnt help and escaped responsibility regarding the incident.This ruined my whole vacation.Take this into consideration while deciding on the hotel.

It truly the best place to stay in Baku, the Flame Towers is the place to be, the Fenicular is close by and from there you have the highland park, once you go down the Fenicular so can walk the Boulevard right till the Maiden Tower, which you can see the old city and the shopping area too is close by. The breakfast is just too good at fairmont. The gym, heated pool and spa is also a class apart.

Great property, well located. The rooms are spacious and comfy. But the reception staffs complete lack of interest or sense of hospitality makes this the most disappointing Fairmont Ive stayed at.

This hotel was hit or miss during my stay. The hotel and property itself is beautiful, but the service was a mixture of good to medium quality. There were multiple issues during our stay which included a broken Air Con, electronic curtain not being able to open, towels not restocked during daily room cleaning. The staff was helpful, but did not go above and beyond.

The hotel is absolutely beautiful. Rooms were big. Wasnt crowdy. The good thing is that you dont hear any cars outside because of its location. Bathrooms were neat, and equipped with hair dryer, trash, towels, and everything. The bed was comfortable. Would I go back? Definitely.

Pros, Rooms are great with high ceiling and views are great specially if you can get the one with Seaview and hotels location is very near to martyrs memorial Cons, US dollars are not acceptable anyware in the hotel, they will lock the minibar if you dont want to use and charge you 10 manats for removal of mini bar which is no big deal but when they enter in your room by telling your roommate that someone called the reception to lock the mini bar and also if you dont answer after a knock they will open the door and enter which is very scary(main reason that I am giving 2 stars), service is not even up to the 3 star Accor hotels, if you had stayed in a hotel in Dubai or Abu Dhabi you will definitely feel the difference so lower your expectations and do not expect that they will allow you the COMPLIMENTARY checkout and lastly the only Pakistani or Indian food they have is chicken biryani which cooked by the local

Not quite sure what to make of my stay here. The view was second to none, the reception staff and the porters were also very welcoming and friendly. The room again, pretty much what you expect. But on the other side, we waited over 1.5 hours for the luggage to come up and it never did, had to go down and pick it up myself. On the last day, we stayed for lunch at the Nur Bar on the ground floor and waited over 40 mins for 2 sandwiches. We had to get them as takeaway in the end as had a flight to catch. So overall, yes I might go back but it wouldnt be for the restaurant service.

Elegant and modern hotel definitely worth staying in and delicious breakfast one of the best hotels in baku but it’s only con is that it’s far from the city centre which is a 10-min drive but there are always taxis available as well as uber which is the best alternative for transportation in baku

We came here to have a drink at the Fairmont Flames Hotel - The Jazz Club. Theres Crispy Smoked Duck Salad for AZN 20, sparkling water 500ml AZN 7. Live jazz music at 2100.The duck was overcooked and overly salty.

Good services and location but they delayed our chick in for more than three hours and refused to replace it during chick out!!!Also they requested to pay extra money after completing booking as per offered price and for any simple (room services) request!!Really, I am surprised.

My money got stolen from the room and I have claimed this to the hotel security and they have conducted an investigation then replied to me that no one took your money!!! Be carefulAlso there was a government event at the same time but they didn’t told us ahead of time. There was so much security and road blocks around hotels taxis couldn’t come to pick us up.Shame on you Fairmont

Below expectationThe hotel is an icon in Baku. it is one of the flame towers which are well known in this city. Location Is excellent with a wonderfull sea view. Employees are friendly. Rooms are spacious and clean but windows are not wind proof. I couldnt sleep the first night when it was windy. There is a nice indoor swimming pool. Breakfast buffet is not bad but has limited variety of food. Service is very poor. No body cleaned the room in two days. I had to call them at 6 pm to clean the room.

My stay at the Fairmont couldn’t have been better. They welcomed me with a complementary early checkin at 7am, and gave complementary chocolates in celebration of the new years eve. The room were impeccable, together with the service. Amazing facilities, with the best view of Baku, in the landmark location that is the flaming towers.

I have booked a suite room, they gave me the room key around 7 pm my bags arrived 9 pm my room was in the 8th floor somehow the wind gets inside the room but they assure me that its normal due to the wind speed. I didnt get that , the room lack of water and the dental kit everything you should ask for.Too much smell on the lobby due to shisha and cigarettes lounge. Food is awaful very bad taste and presentationPublic transport is very hard due to the operation of the train next to the hotel they operate from 10 am but we had to wait outside 15mint to 20 mint.All in all it is not worth the money nor the location. Sorry Fairmont but plz look into what we have known you.

The hotel was great, but the staff were even better, specially a gentleman at the reception “kamil” , he made the stay 100x better, and we were on the gold floor, personnel were very good, a lady named “turkan” helped out alot. Good breakfast, and a good afternoon snack were served everyday in the lounge, great sea view, and generally a great experience.

You will see famus flame towers closely and another famus place in baku, tha Shahidlar avenue.At the end of this avenue you will reach to baku highl land, a beautiful place with a horizontal view of caspian sea side.

The best tht baku has to offer but beware..there is nothing in the other 2 flame towers..no food courts no malls nothing..only a cinema n fairmont hotel..pool is clean..nice hotel overall
