The museum is very educative and beautiful. The entry fees is very reasonable. The entrance is very impressive because of the attractive pendulum suspended from the ceiling. There you can get to know about the history of oil and petroleum discovery in the world and india with the help of models. There are also scal e models of various vehicles and transports used for the extraction of petroleum from the sea bed and ground. There are real vehicles placed in the park. The most attractive section, according to me, is the section where fossils of dinosaurs and other animals are placed which were found during the extraction process. Overall the tour of the museum is very helpful for children.

To navigate there, ask the people where Tel Bhavan is? Nobody has heard the name Oil Museum. The place was quite with no rush. It had a lot of models of ships and oil extraction process. Very informative if you have the time. But FRI, Deer Park, Robbers cave are far higher in my goto list.
