Great location and atmosphere on a Sunday Morning. My wife had a Take My Breath Away from the bar... so good she ordered another. I had biscuits and gravy covered in salad greens. The Gravy was VERY flavorful, owing the the locally sourced sausage the use. My wife enjoyed a breakfast special which was like a pot pie filled with breakfast goodness. Loved the food and service and presentation. Outstanding!
My 8 year old: The food is perfect and FreshMy 6 year old 5 out of 5 stars! Its soo yummy and the bread is sooo fresh and soft!Me: I completely agree with my foodies above. :) Everything was perfect! Delicious and Brilliantly put together. Accompanied by a lovely atmosphere & Fantastic Staff. A must visit!
Had their Sunday brunch and it was phenomenal. We got the cinnamon roll, weekend special (see photos), and the brunch tacos; best brunch tacos Ive ever had. The coffee was strong and had great flavor, and the Raspberry Springer beer from the Yellow Springs Brewery was great as always. They were packed, and our food still came out fast for how busy they were.
We got the GOAT grilled cheese with barbacoa added ($16 a piece), a side of fries (I believe $4), and a nana chip muffin (this was completely devoured before I could take a photo and was priced at $4). They didn’t have any ranch, honey mustard, etc, but they make a house sauce which was delicious. The sandwich was one of the best dishes that I’ve tasted from a restaurant. We were floored. We didn’t mind the price because of the taste. The fries were standard but had a delightful crisp and were seasoned well. The muffin was GF, vegan, warm, and DELICIOUS.FYI You place and pay for your order up front, and receive a table number so that they can bring your food to you. It is not a traditional restaurant with waiters/waitresses.
Im glad I stumbled upon this place on a Sunday morning, looking for an earlier-than-usual brunch. They have an excellent menu that my table tried most of (they also have specials that come and go). We had all praise and zero disappointment. They do subtle things to elevate simple breakfast dishes and every meal was high-quality, skillfully-prepared, and satisfying. They could definitely justify charging higher prices than they do; my average brunch is more expensive and less tasty than this was. I have to give a shout out to their rich and decadent GF/vegan banana chocolate chip muffin from that morning. Service was also fast and friendly. Table 33 will certainly get more visits from me whenever Im in the Dayton area!
Delightful! We had the tacos and burger and both were delicious. The ingredients seem very fresh and they even make things like ketchup from scratch. If you’re like me the quality of little things like the fries could be a difference maker for the whole experience. Well these guys have some of the best fried I’ve ever had, and that isn’t the only detail we were super impressed with. The service was incredibly friendly and accommodating. My wife asked for the TV channel to be changed and they were kind enough to do it even though she was requesting the Clemson game and this is OH ST territory 😬. The servers checked on us frequently and took care of every need. The environment is very laid back. We didn’t want to leave. We topped off lunch with the key lime pie which was possibly the best decision we made. The choice to add coffee to go with the key lime pie might have been the best decision of all. Coffee is another one of the little things that makes a big difference to me, and their coffee is incredible.Highly recommend!
Brunch on Sunday here is a highlight of the week! The menu is limited but everything is delicious. The pink lemonade has beets and honey so you feel good drinking it and its delicious. The tacos and the husky are fantastic. The potatoes are a perfect crispy accent on the tacos and homemade sausage is to die for!
We had (shared) the Early Riser, Chicken & the Egg, Biscuit, House Made Sausage, Home Fries, Scratch Soft Pretzel, Nana Chip Muffin, and Orange Juice. I think it may have been the best breakfast I have ever had, which says a lot given Im a foodie. We originally came because Table 33s menu had a good number of scratch items and the ambiance looked appealing. We had OJ at the Orris groves in FL months ago and that was nothing compared to Table 33s OJ. Nothing but oranges, yet the oranges they used taste incredible. My favorites (and what Id like to make a meal out of next time) were the chicken (confit, mind you--so of course it is delicious), potatoes (crispy, plentiful slightly smashed potatoes and tossed in the tastiest compound butter), biscuit (crispy buttery edges are uniquely satisfying), and OJ (house pressed and very flavorful and sweet with no sugar added). Breakfast here again is on our list for the next special occasion. It is hard to find places that care about food, and quality is what sets Table 33 apart (i.e. focuses and perfects a small menu, scratch items).
We always enjoy the staff at Table 33. Sam also does a great job providing an exceptional experience. We come there for the full experience, but of course the food stands out every time. While they rotate their menu to give you a new experience if you choose on a regular basis, the burger is a must try!
This place is a gem that I wish I had known about sooner.Table 33 is located in downtown Dayton and has a wonderful brunch menu. Most of the menu items are sourced locally and priced very fairly as well.During the week, before 3pm coffee is free! The truffle fries are great and I love the shoestring cut.The banana muffin was fresh and was not too sweet. The chicken and waffles stole the show. At $13 its almost a bargain for how much food you get. 3 large chicken strips and two waffles. Ive had comparable meals with less food for more money. The chicken was well fried and the local Ohio maple syrup was mixed with a bit of hot sauce to give it some extra zing.I will definitely be back and have already recommended this place to my friends and family.
We love this restaurant and would normally give it a five. This review is based on today’s experience. Half way through my kale and farro salad, a green worm inched its way up, out of the salad and onto the rim of the bowl. Needless to say, I didn’t finish the salad. When I told the waitress to let the chef know so they could make sure there wasn’t an infestation in the greens, her reaction was what one would expect if I had asked to convey a compliment to the chef. And she even asked me if I wanted a box for the remaining salad! I wasn’t looking for a refund or to make a scene, just a simple, “so sorry about it,, we’ll definitely look into it”.
Brunch perfection! I love the format where you order/pay at the counter and they serve your food when it’s ready. Cool environment, great music, chef curated dishes with fresh ingredients.
I gave two stars because when I ate here the first few times, the food was great. But recently, this place has been a waste of time, money, and energy. Ive driven to Dayton twice to eat here, and both times they were closed for random reasons even though it was not reflected on their website, on Google, and they wouldnt answer their phone to say otherwise. Today was the last straw though. I checked their website three times to confirm they were open and tried calling with no answer. I brought my sister here for a late lunch, and brought my newborn as well. The 40 min drive there, unpacking the stroller, getting the newborn out of the car and settled, and paying for the parking garage was just the start. We went to the entrance, which said to go to the side entrance. So we fumbled around the construction on the street to the other side of the restaurant, where we tried to enter, and a worker told us to go back to the other side because there was construction in that part of the restaurant. So we went back to the other side, again fumbling around the street construction, where the door was locked. My sister called again, only for them to finally answer and tell us they closed the kitchen and only the bar was open from 3-5. WHY ISNT THIS INFORMATION ANYWHERE? Having a newborn, food and relaxation comes few and far between, and any effort to eat out takes four times as long. There are also no ramps to the entrance to bring a stroller or wheelchair, so every time we had to pick up and carry the stroller. They have wasted my time one too many times. They have officially lost all business from me and any recommendation to others.
Im very happy they have 8am breakfast on Sunday morning. Its not too busy and the food is really good. The coffee is a bit too dark for my taste, but its strong (something a lot of places dont have). I like the chicken and waffle or the tacos. Portions vary based upon what youre ordering so make sure to ask. Make sure to get the butternut squash cinnamon roll. It will change your morning for the better! Trust me.
We’ve been here twice now and each meal was pure perfection. The ingredients are fresh, the coffee is great, and the atmosphere is perfect for brunch. Their staff is so kind and friendly. Can’t wait to eat here again soon!
I give it four out of five only because my food was cold and the restaurant was relatively slow, so no need for cold food. The food was prepared well, but woefully under seasoned... small portions. The good news is, YOU WILL LOVE this place...if you need a funky little spot to chill. The vibe, the creativity of the menu, the friendliness of the staff...A great place to chill solo or with a date. I actually went on a Saturday for brunch and stayed several hours working on my laptop! I felt right at home, in a cool and funky environment. Reasonably priced...I say try it! You might like it!
Me and my family visited and were blown away by how perfectly everything was cooked. The flavors were on point! The chicken and waffles as well as the bacon, egg, and biscuit breakfast sandwich were amazing.
Staff here is really nice, so nice I think it might be a cult. If it is a cult though its a good one. The G.OA.T. is fantastic and if youre hungry you must get it with barbacoa. The espresso is solid but if you need a lot of caffeine get the coffee for the unlimited refills. They have a bar too and great outdoor seating so come through and make sure they make it through Covid.
When I say one of the best places to get tacos I mean it. My wife could not stop talking about how good the brunch tacos were she literally said the best tacos she had ever had. I got the chicken and waffles and they were pretty tasty as well. We are a gluten free family and this was a great find for us and we plan on going back. If your looking for local place in the Dayton check this place you will not be disappointed.
Amazing food.. love that the food is local grown... i didnt try the pretzel or Cinnamon rolls but they are huge and look delicious... I will return...
Good little brunch spot in Dayton, Ohio. The decor is great with aviation themed details around the restaurant. The selection of fresh pressed juices was great although a bit pricey for the Dayton market. I recommend the Sup Doc juice. I had the curry chicken salad with homemade potato chips. The chicken salad was great but the potato chips were a bit of a let down. My wife had the tacos which were very tasty. My guests had the biscuits and gravy which they said was fantastic. I’ll be back on a future visit to Dayton and look forward to trying other menu choices.
It was moderately cheap considering it’s excellent food. I had dine-in and it was lunch. I just meet a friend here. Great service.
Small downtown place. Good food, good atmosphere. Different that traditional wait-staff...There is a line to wait in and order then sit down and theyll bring food out. Went for brunch, $57 for 3...looked like a nice patio available depending on weather.
Good food & nice people. A need to be efficient. Long wait line while seats empty. Perhaps try Chick Fil tact of taking food orders while customers in line?
I thought the place looked great and tasted very good. I was dissatisfied with the person who answered the phone when we inquired about a table. She was rude and did not try to explain the layout of the dining experience. Secondly, when a patron must stand in line to order food, get their own drinks, and is greeted by a manager before anything has happened at a restaurant, beware. I don’t mind tipping in this type of setting, however, the food came out in shifts, the female server was not friendly, nor accommodating. I wanted the 20% tip that I left, before this experience, back.
Burger was great. Message to owner would be I would like fries or homemade chips to come along with the burger.
We are from NC so we have high standards for biscuits - these are flaky and amazing! Everything was fresh and delicious.
Pretty pricey for what you get. Service wasnt the greatest but the food tasted good. Just small portions for the price. Drinks were good and short wait for the food. Dont expect to be waited on or even acknowledged after you order your food.
Food was soo delicious! Tried their brunch menu for the first time today and will definitely be back. Worth every penny for authentic ingredients & flavors.
Came here for brunch! Everything was really good.
If you are coming for dinner be aware that the kitchen opens at 5pm, but they can serve drinks and baked goods beforehand. The establishment is very clean and authentic; it is a cute spot to grab a bite to eat. The bartender is very knowledgeable and created a great atmosphere. The portions are a little small for the price, but the food is delicious! I reccomend getting the churros if available.
I spend a lot of time in Dayton and just rolled in here for the first time this morning. Best choice I could have made today. Wonderful food and excellent service. Knowledgeable about the contents of their food (gluten and dairy, specifically) and considerate of the costumers time and experience. Their chicken and waffles are gluten free, but you wouldnt know it. Better than most of the same I have had which were not gluten free. So, try that for sure! Biscuits and gravy was outstanding and unique. Serving local coffee and beer as well, which I have much respect for. The atmosphere is comfortable and classy, but I came in sweat pants and felt right at home. I will be back. Please give this place your business!
This is one of my favorite Dayton spots - especially for brunch. Their mimosas with fresh squeezed orange juice are amazing and the food is always fresh and delicious. The space always has such a great vibe. Love it!
Well thought out small selection on the menu. I assume due to this pandemic. I do love that I dont ponder over too many options. The service staff is superb, extremely friendly and attentive. Sam at the bar especially provides the best service. The crust on that quiche was unbelievable. Please bring it back.
My husband and I came for brunch on a Sunday. The ambiance was nice and we liked the feel of the restaurant, but thats probably the most positive part of our visit. After we were seated, a manager stopped by and asked our drink order, but then we didnt see our waitress for about 10 minutes after that. When ordering, I asked if I could substitute sweet potatoes for something else, and was told she didnt know of anything else I could switch it for, so I kept it since it was a big component of my dish. I ordered a chai latte after told it was $1 off. When I got it, the flavor was good but there was quite a bit of salt on the foam which was unusual. Also, it wasnt very hot, which was disappointing. Anyway, it took a long time for us to get our food. The chorizo in my dish was dry and overcooked, but the flavors were good. My husband thought the breading on his chicken strips were good for being gluten free, but the flavor was bland overall. Additionally, the person who brought our food out asked if we needed anything, and my husband asked for more water. She said yes but never came back. Then we were both almost done with our meals by time our waitress came to check on us, so my husband asked again for more water. Then by time she brought the water he was finished completely with his meal. Also to top it off, my husband spotted a spider on the curtains right next to our table, which didnt help our experience either. Overall, this was not the best experience due to steeper prices and not great service.
I attended with 2 others for breakfast. We ordered The Husky, 3 Amigo, & the House. Blown away, extremely delicious. They get their ingredients locally and make the sausage patties in house (superb), candy bacon (tasty), the way they did the eggs (chef level), homemade red onion jam (🥲🤤). Highly recommend the banana chip muffin 🥰. Decore, vibe and staff were all excellent, very clean.
Great service and they make ordinary ingredients into unique food. Well done.
I went on Taco Tues and it was fantastic! Service and atmosphere was awesome, any menu item was beyond expectation. Highly recommend Table 33, they will not disappoint!
The menu has some unique options and the portions are generous, perfect for sharing. The fresh squeezed mimosas are amazing, a must have for Sunday brunch!
Daytons finest restaurant to date. Their food is clearly crafted with attention detail and precision in flavor. Their vibe is light and inviting. Great spot to catch up over coffee or take a client out for a business lunch. Their attention to hospitality is spot on and makes it an excellent spot for a date night before a show downtown. Prices are reasonable for the value of local ingredients and portions. This place is a GEM!
Amazing brunch! Had biscuits and gravy and it’s the best I’ve ever had! Always wonderful food and stellar customer service! Highly recommend if you’ve not tried this gem in Dayton!
I would eat here every single day if it were possible. The breakfast was absolutely perfect. Everything is extremely fresh and they have a very well thought out menu.
Was very surprised by the interior. Love the atmosphere and the music. I had The House, the biscuit was insane. Try the amazing potatoes, surprised at first bite. I will be back.
What says taco Tuesday quite like weekly specialty tacos accompanied by .33 cent margaritas. Excellent atmosphere and a huge patio to enjoy the nice weather on. Give Table 33 a try, it wont be your only visit.
Excellent food, very friendly employees, always awesome character. They charge reasonable rates and the food quality is very good. Kudos.
This restaurant is a unique gem in Dayton. Definitely worth visiting. They have a rotating menu with handcrafted, generous portions. The interior is modern, with a cozy feel. There is a nice bar on the inside, and a large outdoor patio.
The brunch was amazing. I had the house sandwich and arugula greens with a lemon dressing that was fabulous. The chef even shared the recipe for the lemon dressing. I cant wait to try the rest of the food 😋.
Cute spot. Took my fiancee for a date and we both liked it. The food was fantastic, though the menu is not overly extensive.
The food is terrible, I had the chicken and waffles and the entire dish was dry and the chicken tasted like rubber. Also ordered mimosa for $9 and they brought out a half glass (very small glass btw) and it was very disappointing. The bar tender didnt care how my food came out .... two stars because of the location and atmosphere other then that its trash
My friends and I really like it here. The food is good, atmosphere fun and staff is friendly. Tuesday tacos and $3.33 margarita night are a favorite
The food here has so much flavour! Absolutely love the atmosphere and the staff is wonderful. Would definitely recommend the charred broccoli which exceeded out expectations. We also tried the chicken and waffles and the fig waffles which were also pretty tasty. Would recommend for brunch with friends and family.
Really enjoyed the atmosphere. I ordered steak nachos and paid for our meal with no receipt provided. The young lady brought out my food and told me she forgot to charge me for the steak on the nachos. She stated if I would like the steak she could bring it out in a bowl, but she needed $5.00. Then 5 minutes later my wife’s food arrived. It being our first time to dine at this restaurant, probably won’t go back. They should use a little common sense instead of requesting $5.00 at the table.
Had a almost wonderful 1st time experience, even if the other customers werent paying attention to their children while they were telling us to go home, I assume Africa they didnt say it to the white customers I still had a nice time! People should really watch what they say in front of children and I pray that lil 1 yr old boy gets help now, he was choking a little girl and she was crying trying to tell her mom who clearly was not interested in what she was crying about please do better ppl
My experience was amazing. The renovation was absolutely beautiful! Customer service was the best Ive experience in months due to the pandemic. Gabby did her job at the highest level very professional. I recommend that everyone needs to experience service at this establishment! Great atmosphere ! Great cocktail Perfect place.
Love the atmosphere, friendly service, excellent food. Table 33 will not disappoint...we will see you again very soon... THANKS!
The tacos were definitely overprized. But it is a fun atmosphere and they had a live DJ
Well the wait staff was nice but the menu had 6 or so entrees I which I got the waffles and chicken Im sorry Chicken and waffle. They said it was a quarter chicken and it was it was a leg and a Belgian waffle made out of cornbread I believe. All together the meal to prepare probably cost $4 it was very small portion very small chicken good size waffle but how much does a waffle cost. It ran $35 Plus pre-tip for two plates or should I say trays with paper underneath that dissolved as we ate. It was garnished with arugula which I dont normally eat arugula with my waffles nor will I and the portion was so small did I say this already and the taste was Chicken and waffles that you can get at a soul food shop for pennies on the dollar. We ordered a pretzel to come before the meal it didnt it came with our meal. Upon entering you would think that for the price of the meal that we paid there would be service but no you order at the counter and theyll bring you your food afterwards $35 for two chicken legs and two waffles is way too much money sorry it had an egg on it it did it was poached its okay did I mention how small the portion was for $35 worth of chicken and waffles. My son and me were the only two patrons in there the kitchen and bar was bigger than and I mean behind the bar it was bigger than the entire restaurant from where patrons would sit which is understandable because there were more employees than they were patrons. Im sorry I wouldnt go back to that place maybe The nightlife is a lot better than the daytime breakfast brunch thing they have going. Like I said the staff was nice the pretzel was delicious but the cheddar cheese wasnt that great I think I found a hair but I wasnt sure. Does chef Ramsay would have had a blast I believe that my review here would have had nothing on what he would have done. And I probably wont ever go back there even if they gave me a coupon because I wrote this only because its so far away and it really wasnt a very good experience but the staff was they were nice and the pretzel it was good. For those 211 five stars that they received from other patrons on Facebook I wouldnt be surprised if they were relatives but I also wouldnt be surprised if it wasnt for their breakfast like I said they might have a wonderful nightlife there there were probably 500 bottles of wine the same one hanging on the walls I dont know its not a breakfast place go to Dennys youll be more satisfied sorry guys I dont mean to be like this but I have a headache its been a long day and the way I started it was with a chicken leg and waffles for Im sorry waffle for 35 bucks
Small, but tasty menu. We ordered vegan and chicken tacos; both delicious. Raspberry thyme margaritas were wonderful.
Great fathers day brunch. A little pricier than most but definitely worth the splurge.
Good food and portions were perfect for a meal that was light and with ingredients that paired well.
I really enjoy restaurants that let you order and pay before sitting down. The breakfast tacos were great. My friend really enjoyed the biscuits and gravy and orange juice. I would definitely come again next time I am in Dayton.
We love the atmosphere & the food & service are Awesome 😊❤️🙌🙏
We ate here for a late breakfast and the food was great. The chicken and waffles were excellent!
We have considered going here a few times and cant believe it took this long. Everything was delicious, including the dirty lemonade (it had coffee in it, which sounds weird but we enjoyed it and they even split it for us), chorizo hash, charred broccoli, and a massive piece of Italian cake with cream cheese icing (the two of us couldnt eat it together, but we arent big dessert people).
Best breakfast Ive ever had!!! Staff and cooks were all very nice and everyone said thank you for coming in... Being an owner of a restaurant myself, I would be extremely proud of my staff. Great job all around. Hope the owner sees this and passes this along to them (11-6-2020) 830am...
Really enjoyed my dining experience here. Hoping to return to try more of the menu. They had gluten free options and a nice selection of drinks. I hope they return to having more of a dinner menu at some point because we loved the entrees they used to offer.
Took my team to lunch at Table 33, great atmosphere for discussion and prompt service. Ordered the turkey bacon club (roasted turkey, applewood smoked bacon, swiss cheese, tomato, greens, and house sauce on marble rye) with salad instead of french fries...colleagues told me the fries were delicious!
Lovely patio for brunch 👍
Food and service fantastic!
After a very hectic and stressful week, this was the perfect place to relax. My wife and I stopped in for breakfast around 0900 prior to our last day of the craziness. The atmosphere was very inviting and smoothing. The customer service was immaculate and very genuine. The Food...not enough stars to fully describe!! Everything from texture to taste was perfection. Admittedly, this was our first time here; so we didn’t get to experience the depth of the menu. We both enjoyed the House sandwich, with home fries and sausage. I would caution you that the food portions were very generous so careful not to over order. Nonetheless, the food was amazing. Please please please consider stopping through if you are passing through the Dayton, OH area. In the aftermath of COVID-19, businesses like these deserve MUCH more of the consumer attention. I promise you will get value for your money!!! - Keen
Everything was on point. One of the best restaurant playlists I have heard, food is unique and fun to eat, and the staff is extremely friendly. One of our new favorites!
I’d rate it six stars if I could. Delicious breakfast sandwiches and the gooiest cinnamon rolls. Atmosphere is pleasant farmhouse chic. Nice bar area as well. Highly recommended. We’ll be back!
