The coffee was lovely, same with the customer service. However, the breakfast wrap was a tad too salty for my liking. Overall very nice and cute atmosphere, would go again

AVOID AVOID AVOID!!! The scrambled egg on toast is like a pile of slop on the toast. Asked for it to be remade which it was but then the waitress gave a dog a bowl of water and then did not wash her hands before serving us the 2nd plate of slop on toast. When the food was sent back the cook shouted what! and slammed the pots and pans around the kitchen. If you like your breakfast served with dog slobber and an attitude then go ahead and visit!

Woeful customer service and woeful coffee! Upon entering I was greeted with the most filthiest look (first impressions I wasn’t impressed) I ordered an americano to take out and the young lady who served me was very frosty and didn’t seem impress with my order for some reason?! The coffee was hands down one of the worst coffees I’ve ever had in my entire life, I would genuinely say the coffee at McDonald’s Greggs etc are better.. The coffee was steaming hot, so hot that it burnt the coffee beans which made the coffee just taste like boiling water? My hands were dripping with water from the condensation from the steam. Very unimpressed and I won’t be going there again!

One of my best options for having a breakfast in Nottingham.It is cosy and the staff is friendly and nice and surly the food is superb.

Stopped en-route to the office whilst in Nottingham. I could not face another hotel breakfast and this spot was a really great. Very friendly staff offering proper table service. Fresh healthy breakfast options. Coffee could have been hotter but otherwise spot on.

Unexpected! Dont let the location fool you, this cafe is worth the effort to get to. We had a couple of breakfasts and appreciated every bit of them. Staff seemed friendly and coffee quite reasonable too, would definitely return.

Had the grilled cheese. I love grilled cheese may have coloured my rating be warned, but it was good tasting, presentation was decent. Service was really friendly. Had banana cake for desert, wasn’t great a bit dry.

The food was delicious and the place is nice and cosy. Prices are high, but it has to be taken into account that the food served here is organic and free-range. Staff are kind, however no-one asked if the food was alrighty.

Found by accident.....a little gem. Service friendly. Only had a flat white and a breakfast Sausage roll but was delicious and I know everything else on the menu would have been just as nice!

Turned up this morning to be seated , a couple of empty tables and we were refused saying they were full and had people waiting and yete there was no que , we were the only 2 at the door .They did not even sugest a time , arrogance perhaps im not sure .

My first visit to this little gem. Had a quick coffee and cake, staff really friendly and the food being served looked delicious. Will go again, but this time for lunch. Nottingham needs more places like this.

Although this place looks lovely and the staff are very nice, I do not think the breakfast was worth nearly 10 pounds. The bacon was over cooked and oily, the bread was hard, the mushrooms were dripping in oil. The best thing was the scrambled eggs with chives. Needs to improve on the quality of food or maybe drop the prices of breakfasts.

The food was of decent quality and the atmosphere was comfortable. It is hard to look past the high price tag, however, especially when considering the simplicity of the food - even if the ingredients are of high quality and locally sourced. Overall I would say I enjoyed the experience but probably would not revisit unless prices were reduced.

This is my favourite breakfast in Nottingham.Beautifully prepared food, quality ingredients, frequently changing menu.I have never had a bad meal here, and always use this as a decadent treat.Not a cheap meal, but wonderfully full of flavour. So many of the dishes are unique and not your average fare.The shop stocks wonderful bread and other products too.You can take TOAST home with you..........but its not as good. :)

The food was good, very prompt. It was quite expensive but i feel like it mostly paid off. I had an open sandwich and a pot of tea which worked out to be just under £10. The ingredients were great, you could really tell where your money goes. the atmosphere was pretty good and it was wonderfully decorated. I felt that the small size of the place would lead to a more intimate dining experience, but the staff mostly stood around behind the counter on their tablet giving you attention as you approached.still a very good experience, may come back again on payday.

Tasty food, and fab if you love wholemeal bread... which I dont, and there didnt seem to be an option for white (and practically everything comes with toast... would you believe?!?!) which is why its only 4 stars, but thats just personal choice.

Disappointing level of service!I came in, sat down, noted one other diner inside enjoying their food. Took my things out of my bag, opened my laptop, got set up and watched the waitress clean three tables around me, then continued to chat with her colleague standing around. 10 minutes later I had to ask is it self service here??Cappuccino they served was burnt, scolding hot and milky, it was not a cappuccino, it was a burnt latte.Ordered a New York sandwich for lunch at 13:10, by 13:50 it was still not served.I know the food is good here but the level of service is not en-par with the rates, at least on this occasion.

The most awful customer service I have ever experienced. Would not recommend this place at all, regardless of the food. Very rude, unpleasant and unfriendly.

I have been on cafe hopping since i arrived in Nottingham 2 months ago.TOAST..The out look is unique, ambience is very relaxing, place is clean, staff are very friendly and that make the toast and a latte i ordered this morning taste soooo good..Id definately make a return..

Impromptu visit, just passing, great little place, had Gormet breakfast, excellent, staff chilled, didnt wait around, would recommend.

Dont take menus on face value - for a matter of convenience I had my breakfast in here, I sat down and browsed the menu but initially wasnt fussed. I ordered and to be fair the food was very well presented and cooked. The service was spot on, not too friendly, not too laid back. Slight overkill with the number of front of house staff, but as I left and half of Nottingham seemed to turn up, it made sense...

My first time here, food was so delicious, will definitely come back again.

Really good breakfast with nice and homey location. The price is a but steep, but as everything is local produce it kind of explains it.
