This place is usually known in the locality for its annual Rathjatra festival..the chariot of lord Krishna is pulled upto Kadamtala from here..and rest of the time that chariot is kept here..this place is easily connected to railway station via Dankuni or Baruipara..but there are no permanent shed ..
