Very good sitting arrangement and nice car parking available...Best time to visit beach is evening time..Sunset is awesome..Less crowded beach and clean and safe beach..Very less public transport available to reach this place..Two to three stalls available for food and drinks...

Its better than others beach in surat

This is the place where Gandhi ended his salt satyagraha. This is nice beach with black sand. The beach is very less crowded. There is few shops around selling eateries. Parking is paid and is managed by locals. Water is calm, but not many people go swimming here. The place is an hour drive from Surat. There is also a dark just before the beach. A watch tower for lifeguard is also present.

Very nice beach, visit with family & friends for picnics. Nice Gandhi monuments are very close. We visited on Sunday but due to cyclone after effect it was windy & sea was very rough. High security was in place & no one was allowed in water. Nice & clean beach.

For family members there is fun n very great sunset view There are no special facilities by government on beach. Needs to be developed more with some kind of water sports. Also need to set up restaurant so tht people can eat there. No cleaning of beach by local authorities or central government even due to Heritage site. Also changing room for ladies should be there.

Its beach so its obviously very pleasant place.. in dandi beach there is more peaceful bcs there is less crowds and there is less pollution, near sea shore there is clean , if you r a peace lover and you want to spend your time with yourself than this is best place for you and of course you can spend time with your family .
