I visited Rustic Door Cafe with my buddies. it was very nice cafe in tricity. Located in very beautiful sector at Chandigarh. It was awesome ambience. I ordered virgin mojito & Dizzy Fizzy tastes very well. Its very nice & presented so well. Staff was very friendly & professional. Nice cafe to hangout with friends.First of all ! A good secluded place from the other places of the food market, having both indoor and outdoor sitting options with ample sitting and good ambience. Eligible for zomato gold discounts is a value for money. Taste isnt extraordinary. They just keep it simple and sober. Tried Marinated Fish and Lamb Chops both were good and served properly. However the place lacks a formal atmosphere & service.

Ambiance is good. The underground area is the best place to sit. The food needs to be little better because the drink and pasta which I ordered was not that good. I hope to see some improvement in the food part too. Although every dish is not bad.

Ambience is nice but food isn’t!!

The upper floor has a weird and uncomfortable ambience. One feels like he is sitting in a classroom, with the kind of tables and chairs theyve got. Its pretty bland in terms of the upper floor ambience. The lower floor ambience is nice, warm and thats where you want to be seated.And the place is shut down now. 🙂

Despite repeated instructions and replacing one order the chef couldn’t make the order to taste and remove chilies. The attitude of the staff was also too casual. Not worth the price...ambience is good but that’s all the cafe has!!

Underground ambience is far better than the top ambience. So, must go for underground sitting. Giving it 4 stars because my experience with food wasnt that great. No just once, but twice I was unhappy with food due to half-cooked pasta and bitter drink experience.Worth a try, but be very choosy with food, else you might regret.

Various drinks were ordered from the menu but none of them were resembling as the names furnished.Gap between the order served and food came on table was more than 40 minutes.At the end food taste also could not resist me to post my reviews.

This food gives you a quiet but resonating ambience with not good but great food, awesome sitting arrangements, Lighting is Dim and good for a romantic dinner with your partner, Good at pocket for the food is worth the time you spend here, I always enjoy this place as this has been my best favorites ever since the days of my Courtship, Youll live the warmth of the staff, the best dish here for my taste buds is the Falafel Gyro followed by Masala tea, and yes they provide one of the best Tea in City and around. Next to it is Hotel Mount View right in front of this place so in case you loved the food and overspent your time here you can move to Mount view for the Tea in case this place is done for the day.

The place has a good vibe and ambience going on. A good place to visit with friends and family.

Food was pretty good, although there were two menus which was cumbersome. I had the penne pasta with chicken which was nice and the BBQ Chicken wings which were decent enough.I had water that was tasted a bit weird tho.

We went there around noon. Service wasnt satisfactory. Majority of the food items on the menu werent available though the food served tasted fine. Do not order any hot drinks such as coffee and tea here. Youll regret it.

Fish n chips were really goodThe Biryani we ordered a metal screw in it may be got detached from the frying pan, but stuff was nice.Service charge is added in the bill without consent although we pay tip to the staff, dont know whether service charge is distributed to the staff

I visited Rustic Door one of the afternoons this week, to catch up with my dear graduation friends - most of whom luckily happened to be in Chandigarh. Thanks to my dear friend Talwinder, who suggested this place - else would have never realized that Chandigarh is also changing with the changing times and we can proudly boast of concept cafes and eating joints with mettle to prove their quality & worth.First of all, kudos for such a great location. What else can you ask for when the cafe is situated right at the famous Gedi Route in Chandigarh. Hats Off also to the awesome ambiance, which lives up to the name of the restaurant, indeed very classy and fresh. I personally liked the interiors and lighting - which definitely add a positive and fresh perspective to the place.Not only does the ambiance, but also the food quality speaks for itself. We ordered a Vegetarian Pizza, Pasta Alfredo and Thai Veg Green Curry (which came with white rice) and must say everything was deliciously yummy. I so liked the Pasta and Thai Veg Green Curry, which was otherwise a very risky dish to order as none of my friends had ever tried it before and also must admit that it is not something which is prepared to perfection at all the places. But, kudos to Rustic Door..Would also like to appreciate the music which was playing in the backdrop, the selection of songs was indeed very riveting. Remember listening to Yeh jo halka halka surror hai.. which is not something you hear every now and then, but have the privilege of listening very occasionally.Would recommend the place to everyone..A good place for a romantic date, friends / corporate get-together. You will not be disappointed.
