Most of the hamster cage furnishings Dabners stocks are too small and the staff arent that knowledgeable but they are polite and provide a good customer experience every time.Seeing Dabners sell hamsters they should have more appropriate bedding and cage furnishings. Small cages and wood shavings arent good for hamsters! Hamsters need at least 750 square inches of floor space. I would also like Dabners to stock 10kg Fitch bedding.

The only place in Croydon where I can find food for my cat. Price is great as well. They have great selection of food, treats and toys!

I love this dabners pet shop. Every time I go into the shop the staff are so friendly And helpful. I got my hamster Patches from there and he Sadly passed away now. They always ask about him. Definitely going to get another hamster from them. I recommend if youre thinking of getting your hamster definitely get one from the shop.

They profit off selling sick animals, please dont ever buy animals from there and do not take any of their advice. We bought two lovebirds from there. At first they seemed fine, but then one of them started showing some strange symptoms. He was sleeping all of the time, his feathers were puffed up constantly even when he wasnt sleeping, and not too long after he passed away. We have been owning birds for a number of years so we took care of him properly, so its obvious that he was already sick before we took him home. The other lovebird that we still have, she is happy and living, but she has had trouble breathing since we got her and sometimes has a stuffy nose, which once again, is because they sold us sick birds. We are extremely disgusted and we will never enter that shop again. They clearly do not care about the welfare of the animals they are selling and only care about getting the money.

The birds are very sick but they still leave them for sale. My daughter was very sad and disappointed, after one week the bird died.

I went with my 2 kids to buy their 1st pet, a Hampster.We was greeted by Tamzin who was extreamly fantastic. she showed us all the Hampsters before my kids choose one she was extremely knowledgeable as she has had Hampsters from a young age. Gave us alot of information and great tips and advised us on certain products. I will definitely go there a again and will recommend this place. Thank you again Tamzin.

Bought some locusts, massively unhappy due to the fact most of the locusts were dead & decaying. (Only 16 were alive out of 58, still charged me full price even though I pointed out the number of dead) The manager obviously has no issue selling substandard products to customers. Pity, this store used to be the best in Croydon.

Having been here multiple times now, I am heavily pleased with their customer service and useful advice. The manager gave me good advice on dealing with our newly adopted dog.I will give them five stars mostly for their service. Their prices for most products are a little high for my liking but they havs a very, very good selection and really know their stuff.Would recommend.

Very bad knowledge about what they are selling. In description is selling gerbils but in the shop only hamsters and parrots.

So I went to buy a hamster cage here and the staff are very nice and friendly but Christ the cages where FILTHY they looked like they had sat on the shelves for about two years the amount of dust and dirt were on them was beyond off putting its a bit horrible to not clean and dust a room literally 2 metres from all the small animals they keep not a good sign, those poor birds lungs :(
