Cowes medical clinic would be by far the most efficient clinic I’ve ever visited. Wait times are minimal, all the doctors, Nurses and admin staff are supper friendly and helpful. Highly recommend

I had my astrazeneca jab at the Cowes Medical Centre yesterday. I have a lot of allergies so I was very nervous, but the admin staff and the doctor were very friendly, caring and professional and helped to allay my fears.I highly recommend this clinic.

Over the many years that my wife I have attended the Cowes Medical Centre we have found all staff, be they medical, administrative or reception personnel, to be professional, compassionate, caring, obliging and friendly. 0ur most recent visit to receive our first of two Covid-19 vaccination injections was no exception and I would have no hesitation in recommending this Medical Practice to anyone should the need arise.

Greetings to all of those who use the Phillip Island Medical Centre! My doctor is Dr. Henryk Struk, my doctor for the past 20 years! His counselling of me has seen me shed around 10kg, my diet has been modified and as a diabetes sufferer, I have reverted from taking insulin after two years of insulin usage! I no longer need to inject myself and my sugar levels are thankfully stable! A great achievement from sound advice, counselling and now a proven fact! Thank you doctor Syruk! John McDougall, Cowes.

After leaving 25 years of city life, to move to the coast, I was worried I would not be able to replace my wondeful city GP. But I was wrong. I have found a wonderful Doctor at the Cowes Medical Centre. I live with stage 4 endometriosis and major depressive disorder, and I have been doubted and second guessed and dismissed by so many doctors that I was starting to give up. Until I came across Dr Natalia Chatsionok. Not only does she specialise in womens health, she is extremely attentive, gentle, kind, and an exceptional diagnostics doctor. She is most understanding and has never rushed me. She LISTENS. The administrative stuff have also always been most accommodating and extremely friendly. I feel most grateful for the medical care I receive at Cowes. Thank you all!

I made an appointment as I moved permanently to Cape Woolamai 2 month ago. I asked the doctor for a referral for complete blood test as I am diabetic, I also had a minor medial condition which I was prescribed a medicine over the counter which was not effective. The doctor asked me to return in 2 weeks to get the referral for pathology. I am 62 years of age and to wait for 14 days to have a regular blood test does not make sense. The pathology were not booked out in any manner and had lots of available time.We dont need doctors who dont care. What happened to country practice where people meant something.

I cannot thank the staff and doctors enough for the service we received at the centre the other day. Rhiannon at the front desk was so helpful and accomodating from the moment I called. She not only fitted me in to see a doctor at short notice but was very supportive in assisting me to make follow up appointments with specialists. Her kindness and compassion at a very challenging time was greatly appreciated.

Always a positive experience seeing someone at the CMC. A very difficult job being a Doc / Receptionist at a medical centre I imagine. The only thing that concerns me is that occasionally staff are abused because waiting times can stretch out... folks, this is not fair. Good doctors are thorough and that means some appointments might take longer than expected. Keep up the good work, folks.

I have never been somewhere that is so money hunger, then actually caring about the patients and then worrying about the money isnt it about the health. I thought we lived in the lucky country well I think were wrong. And their receptions dont have the time or day for anybody, so are all so rude and do not make you feel welcome at all. I put of calling here..

I thank Dr White and his team for giving my father in law the immediate medical attention he needed for tonight. Dr Whites attentiveness towards my father in law is remarkable which is also an assurance to us. No words could express our gratitude towards him and his team when all of us are feeling lost at that moment. Once again, on behalf of my father in law and his family, we would like to thank the staffs who helped us.

Spoke to Caroline on the phone. Not sure whether she was having a bad day or not but she could definitely learn to have a little patience with customers on the phone. She came across as quite belligerent. I didnt step inside the centre because of the phone conversation, which is why I am giving it three stars. I hope Caroline at CMC takes this feedback seriously. It is an honour to serve others. Not a chore.

Really not sure what is going on in this place of, for lack of a better word medicine but when I booked an appointment for a broken collarbone this doctor rushed me in and out with no concern or awareness of what I was saying and then tried to charge me a ridiculous fee that I said I was reallyunhappy with the service and the managers aid that she agreed and that I shouldnt have to pay and could leave, a week later I was sent a threatening bill for the amount previously waived and when I called up to ask about why they lied about their intentions they told me I had to pay or they would get the sheriff after me. If youre serious about your health, do not go here. Staff were short tempered and rude to everyone in the waiting room. Please offer an alternative medical centre for the island as I do not trust the current one.

I am a local and have up until recently,I could not fault the centre,my regular doctor left, thats fiine,but now I cannot even get a appointment,rang today to and asked for the next available appointment with any doctor and was told to ring back in the morning to see if any vacancies come up,or go to the hub,or San Remo, unfortunately I have on going medical issues,and I do not wish to see different doctors everytime,as I find it a lot easier if I form a relationship,with doctor who knows my history well.But overall the staff there are just wonderful,its ashame that I will have to look elsewhere for my medical assessments.
