Absolutely excellent staff we collected our food and the bloke there couldnt have been nicer the food was excellent and still roasting hot when we got home highly recommended to anyone

Food is absolutely disgusting, do not go here!The portions are tiny, the food is dry and bland. The meat used in the curries is questionable.Please go to Khushi Grill or the new Horseshoe for proper Indian food!

Bar staff are Amazing but Resturant staff very arrogant coming into bar pushing their wait around. Bumping into bar staff no apologies given. Even calling customers racists which is so out of order, this from the new Resturant manager, just remember the regulars in the bar keep this place going. Your keep your your side and leave our bar staff alone.I am not the only person to feel this way but only willing to put on pub page. I eagerly await your response

It’s the worst Indian food I have had in my life.The staff was pathetic, excuse was…the actual staff are not here due to COVID.When I entered, they started to write down what was for the GROUPON coupons.Certainly, from the menu but restricted to about 6 items from starters and 6 from the main dish.She called me back to the till to tell me what was available.When I asked, why can’t the management print the menu for GROUPON coupons and put them on display or at least on GROUPON site the list should be there…it’s very deviously advertised.One would think, you can have one dish from starters , one from the main and a naan, but total disappointment.Naan was also the cheapest and plain.The shish kebab came… one kebab cut into two.That put me off straight away…two small pieces.I asked for a lamb dish but was served chicken. Chicken was very hard, over cooked or done a long while back. I asked for hot (spicy), but it was sweeter than an ice cream.Generally, Indian dishes are decorated with coriander pieces on top, but here none.Chef certainly does not know how to present a dish.When I spoke to the chef (certainly well passed his retirement age), he told me that portions are cut into half of what they are on regular menu.Could see two big dishes lying in the open…exposed to all without cover…hygiene???So, a kebab dish, a main dish and a naan on regular menu would have cost me £ 1.50 more but would have fed 2 people, since portions were cut in halves for Groupon vouchers.Daylight robbery.Total rip-off the pricing, portions and pathetic staff.

Food is absolutely delicious.The portions are extremely generous & theres also the option to take home any leftovers.Fresh ideas, dedication and a little respectability was long overdue.Separating the restaurant from the bar is genius,enabling families to dine comfortably without unwelcome disturbances.The staff are young enthusiastic & visibly happy in their working environment.Young Amelia & George were rushed off their feet, yet still took the time to give us personal service during a family birthday meal.The car-park & front entrance is rubbish free & inviting.The bar was totally packed with locals enjoying a brew after a hard weeks graft. Although its buzzing and noisy, the atmosphere was electric.Well done Dave & thank you for your personal attendance on a clearly busy night.

My 2nd time here. Nothing about my meal was any good. Non sizzling sizzlers so was missing the grilled flavour. Overall Lacking in flavour. Chicken tikka you can tell is not freshly cooked.Chilli cheese chips- cold commercial pizza type cheese sprinkled on top that didnt melt. Service is good. Location is decent with ample parking. Food not for me.

Do not prepay for you food on Just Eat, Delivery drivers are unreliable, orders are not recieved. I never received my order, both the Pilot and Just Eat refused a refund. Disgusted and out of pocket. Was a regular customer. Not any more. Will never use again.Hope your driver enjoyed my dinner............ . Your response is both unprofessional and inaccurate, after investigating Just Eat have refunded me. Come to your own conclusions

This is not a “Punjabi grill” as they serve halal food!!Would definitely avoid this place, food is bland and is most definitely NOT Punjabi style food. Portions are small there are much better places to eat in Coventry, I would avoid.

Iv just ordered a tawa box and its that spicy we cant eat it. Ive tried calling but no answer and answer machine is full. Tried to contact through just eat and they cant help...,£23 down the drain...im pretty annoyed as we order from here before and its been beautiful...

Ive just had a delivery from you, the food was cold, some of the food was missing, the delivery man said I had a accident, will come back with the chips, it looked like he had been eating our food, just bone in the box,

Having never been to this pub before, I was very impressed by it. Its split in 2 - 1 part is the restaurant, the other is the pub. I had a set Indian meal, which was very good. Staff very attentive.Would recommend, and Ill certainly be visiting again.

Such a friendly, welcoming pub. Excellent home cooked food at reasonable prices. The beer is good and very competitively priced. The staff are very friendly and always ready for a chat and laugh. There is live music every weekend which everybody seems to enjoy.The pub manager is always coming up with new ideas to improve the ambience of the pub.

This is great family pub. Whether you want to go for a quite drink or have some fun with friends. There are two areas in The Pilot, you have the Restaurant and the Bar. The Bar is more designed for having a laugh, and enjoying yourself. There is a dukebox located in the Bar area along with a pool table.The Restaurant side is really nice, it is more child friendly, there is a ball toy machine so the kids have something they can do other than watch Sky Sports on TV.The food there is perfection, there is nothing that can be faulted.All members of staff there are lovely and easy to talk to. You will always feel comfortable, when you come to this pub.

Loved are sunday lunch it was are first sunday there,quick service, and vety good value will be there again soonfor the roast,Ive also had currys there and really enjoyed them.

Food very nice but the saag and the breads were slightly oily. The waitress was very professional and helpful but was on her own.There are nicer indians at a lower price in Coventry so it was by all means nothing spectacular but we had a good time as a family and left full and satisfied. Worth a visit.

Me, my husband and my son went here today for Sunday lunch - had excellent meal. Couldnt fault any of it. Good size meal - hot and tastey. 2 of us had the classic and 1 had the bigger meal. Very good value for the money.I would recommend anyone to go there for the roast dinner.Karen Glidle

Visited The Pilot on Christmas Day whilst we were doing the rounds in the area. It is a good place and the price of beer is incredible, probably the cheapest in Coventry. Go check it out.

After of my son had recomended it, we decided to try the breakfast. It was good breakfast, freshly cooked and quickly served.

Decided to give the pilot ago lastnight, and it wasnt disappointing it was fully booked but Dave managed to fit us in we had the Punjab meat tawa for two, it was superb could not fault it at all, everything came out piping hot, the staff and Dave made us feel very welcomed, will definitely be going back, well done Dave and staff.

I live on this road and thought id try it out after always driving past to other pubs.food was not great,curries where very bland.i had a triple burger and all 3 where burnt and no bbqsauce topping as per menu,even my youngest left nuggets and chips unlike her.They left starter plates on tables whilst trying to fitmains plates on small tables.they forgot to bring out the dips as paid for.and no condiments where supplied until again we asked.staff was very friendly just useless.

Fish sizzler states king prawns aswel as fish. At first we didnt get any then after complaining we were given tiny prawns. We ordered chilli chips but wanted them saucy they came with powdered spice. On plus side chilli paneer was tasrt but portion far to small
