Great experience for international students. Charming facilities and provides world-class education.
Fantastic facilities! Very welcoming staff, best Library I’m I’ve ever seen! Can’t wait to study there
Injection in my knee Dr was very good explained everything before doing the Injection
Poor teaching standards. Wasted hard earned money, online classes only made it worse. Most Indian students are happy because they come here not to learn but to get a PR.If you want to learn look somewhere else. The only good thing was the access to Springer through online Library resources.
Is one of the best of UK in teaching
Open day, everything was open. Were able to see the digs, lecture halls and meet some of the staff. Really impressed with everything and how clean it all was.
Great place for learning. This one of the oldest university of this area. Teaching is highly engaging with practical activities which make students learn better, faster and accurately. Very good faculty members, highly educated , very supporting and kind.Students enjoy their stay and study over here. This one of ever growing university of UK.
I travelled to the UK in 2019 and I totally enjoyed myself, being my first winter experience. So I had the opportunity to visit Coventry University and it was really great, nice school, good learning environment, courteous staff, I did not experience any form of racism, great facilities. Its a School I would recommend for local and International Students.💯
Not a wonderful experience., the contact no.s never there for you. If you need or not. You would be waiting for 3 hours for a small query when it was closed on covid there is no way you can reach them. On emails take 5 days to reply sometimes no reply at all.. in terms of student experience its not more than one star.
Nice I guess, no swimming pool
My university always the best 😍
If there is any option I would rate 0.Sheety student care, incompetent, unprofessional staff. After an extremly long holding time they passed my calls to 3 different extentions just to check a simple, easily accessible information, until the connection aborted.Either e-mail comunicacion is better. Most possible they disregard your letters or send some general, useless information. 😠😠😠
Splendid! Truly a 5-star university!
I hope all will go good ☺️ V. excited 2 join in wonderful University ...
Friendly people, good food and affordable stores 👌
I am planning to study Logistics and supply chain management how was the placements after completion of the course. Can any one help me out
One of the best Universities in UK.If you care about your family education Coventry University should be the place of your consideration.
Excellent facilities and campus.
Great uni. Has the atmosphere and ambiance of 17th century Rome. The Canteen makes me feel like I’m in 1970s Paris. Each building has its own unique feel to it. In one building you feel like you’re in the Beautiful, quiet city of Vienna, Austria. In another building you feel like you’re in the bustling streets of New York. If you ever want to go on a budget holiday, visit Coventry University.
Well as Im still new here, its an interesting university with interesting buildings and environment.
Poor quality of teaching and resources. Online systems are poor. Probably better off studying at a better resourced University, i.e., Russell Group University if you can. Overpriced compared to alternatives.
I used to play [email protected] 2 courts only available.
The hub is COVID-regulated and most buildings are gradually becoming accessible
Nice university.....
Great university to study in. Would really recommend the place.
Terrible university, facilities are horrendous the halls smell like poo, the teachers dont know how to teach courses properly
University was not busy today.Very few students follow the three covid rules. To my surprise, shops around the Uni were open too. Even the coffee shop in the library was open. Very few people were obeying the distance rules. No wonder why we have a second C-19 wave.
Quality of education is really poor, they never support student with anything. I have got the chance to do a placement yet the university didnt show any support. tuition fees are too much for what you are getting. I dont recommend it at all
Great experience
In the centre of town, next to the cathedral. Wide open streets and lots of students around. Feels like a campus.
I love the vibe of Coventry and the universitys awesome!
Modern university with campus departments spread over the whole city. Walkable. Cheap and full of student accomodation options.
Is it normal for your students to not be able to get their resit exam results even after The next year already started? Is it A normal policy for your Staff to not inform students about The results releasment day? Do you think it is normal and perfectly ok to keep The students waiting and uncertain of their results and next steps? Finally, it you have any IT issues, do you think it is soo damn difficult to send A curtesy email informing students about an issue and estimated fixing Time? Students are obliged to keep The deadlines, but you are ok to ignore them? Please advise.
Very nice and big place
Worst University Ive ever been too. So many inconsistencies. So many issues. Being signed up for courses i never signed up for. So care concerns or check ups until complaints were raised.Id avoid on so many levels.
Very friendly staff
Good university
As a recent graduate of business studies of this university, I want to tell that there are very few jobs available for the graduates of this university. There tuition fees are very very high, but their support in terms of finding jobs is very low. The university just thinks of making money from the int students. Dont waste your money here.
This rating is based on my experience during the pandemic and as a result of the pandemic as there arent many enjoyable social activities. Theres also the online lectures that just dull the experience of learning with different people from all over the world.
Coventry University is a public research university in Coventry, England. The origins of Coventry University can be traced back to the founding of the Coventry School of Design in 1843. It was known as Lanchester Polytechnic from 1970 until 1987, and then as Coventry Polytechnic until the Further and Higher Education Act 1992 afforded it university status that year and the name was changed to Coventry University.
I came here for an open day because they animation course was apparently number 1, but the actual course is Illustration Animation and they mostly teach you illustration. I can already draw, and Im pretty sure most people can too; what they need to focus on is animation. It would be much better if they taught the courses separately. The building was horrible and old, and the only good facilities I saw was the car designing room. Furthermore, when I came here, students deadlines were approaching, and the whole atmosphere felt like students were seconds away from committing suicide, and Im not exaggerating. There were 2 or 3 rooms inside the university filled with Mac Suites available for students to use, but in the 2 or 3 rooms overall, there was only one student working. If deadlines were approaching, why wasnt the rooms filled to the brim? This made me feel very uneasy - something must be wrong. The library is a whole separate building, which the public can attend too, which was so full, some people were standing. So why was the library so full when there were multiple computer suites available inside the university? Was there something wrong with the university or something that students wouldnt touch and were overcrowding the library instead? The whole city felt dull and depressing too - I cant imagine spending a month here let alone 3 years. Good luck, future students.
Excellent lecturers and amazing location
I have totally been cheated. This university promised me that after passing my MBA i would get placement, but they just gave me a non-paid internship for up to 6 months, and gave a condition that if performance was ok, I would get salary. However, after assessing my performance, the employer gave me just a very basic salary which is insufficient to manage even daily cost. They cheated on me and other int students in this way,
Nice place
Its a good university and lot of facilities available for students.
Student support is zero every week I call about my application and they say wait for 5 working days if you don’t hear from us call back again and this process is repeating from two months 😫😫😫
Serene and beautiful
The staff were super helpful, and the registration process was easy and straight forward.
One of the top 15 universities in UK
Would like to say I dropped my cousin off at uni yesterday and was so impressed at the changes the university has made. Coventry university used to be such a dreary place but now the buildings have been completely re vamped. Good work.
Hello/ hi everyone can i help someone is there any opportunity for part-time jobs nearer to university how the situation is going on please help me someone
Its a shame what a pandemic can do to some places
I am a painter/so I am working on this building
I am coming 🌊
I am planning to study Psychology in Coventry University. Can anyone tell me their experiences regards to the university?
One of the worst student affairs i have ever seen.. Only cares about mone,, money and money🙂
Awful, Im a student in the Faculty of Arts. I have about two lectures a week ( at least tutors show up to these ones) they accept anyone so the progress of people who actually want to learn is non existent. Run as far as you can from this university. Ive never regretted more that enrolling to this place. Waste of money and my time, that I could be spending at a competent university actually learning.
Best university for courses related to automobile engineering field since the memories of industrial revolution that started in UK especially in England can be seen here . It is considered as the industrial capital .
Omg
Great!
Nice
Outstanding English and Languages departments. Student support and the overall student experience are second to none.I came out with a double 1st.I cannot recommend Coventry University highly enough; the city is safe, vibrant and culturally diverse enough to add to the overall university experience.
Excellent
Best university
Master degree:nice staff,but low teaching experience,problems exist
A decent university with some good lecturers but not the best city to live in for 3/4 years...
The best thing Coventry university provides students with is the extra cheap International trips. I got to visit Paris and Berlin for 100 pounds each and I have a chance to visit other countries too. However, u should consider that it is a very fast growing university and it has its own challenges to deal with along the fast growth. Some of the challenges might be annoying to students but the fact is that if I wanted to do the same course at Warwick I had to pay 12K more!
Love the place and the vibe.
Great campus. Good practical teaching. Had a superb bunch of classmates. Good in ranking but comparably low tuition fees. Wish Cov Uni all the best.
Good place to study
I have been living in Coventry from several years but it was 2011 when I became a student at cov uni in civil engineering dept. Its nice uni. In the town. Buildings are really close to one another. Staff are great n helpful. Lecturers delivers remarkable lectures. I would definitely recommend this to everyone especially for civil engineering.
This place has good facilities for university group. It situated of Gosfield road and also the roundabout is very close. There are two local bus stops that are close by.
Best university I have ever seen...😎😎😎👍👍👍👍
So far, amazing! 😊🤗 (Media Production)
Provide CAS to student please it has been already late.
I am planning for MSc in global healthcare management at Coventry University. Can anyone help me out here about the Pros and cons of the university please? Is it worth?
Good
Fantastic for Engineering and Maths courses! Modern facilities, and an excellent standard of teaching. Staff are excellent and league tables show this is a top performing university!
Poor faculty communication, making the overall experience of taking a degree awful. I had to go to the finance department at least once a week, to clear up my finances, for 2 years!! thats insane..The teachers are incredibly good, and Very unclear of what they expect from you since one teacher will give a paper an excellent mark and another teacher will give same paper a fail.for a sum of more than £8.000 a year the University is NOT worth it..
Wonderful place
Great location and staff are helpful. Big downside is the marking criteria. They squash a years worth of subject into 3 months and expect you to learn it all. This uni is very unorganised. On induction days they take you to the auditoriums and give a glimpse of the harrier, but when you actually start your course, you never ever see them again. This uni has great potential, but it concentrates more in the night life.
Great University, just finished first year and I can say that i loved every bit of it. Lecturers were friendly, easy to contact and cater for your needs.complete opposite of college where I hated it
I am a first year student law and practise. its so nice. The teaching and class structure. I will recommend coventry uni to anyone
One of the modern universities in UK. Wonderful experience, nice campus. It has a automotive museum with in it. High quality facilities for engineering courses.
If you heard of the so called high rankings by guardian times and teaching awards for excellence, and now youre thinking of enrolling here.... kindly rethink your decision. I joined here for healthcare management and within months it was clear that this university was a poor choice. There are hardly 3 to 4 days of classes in a week, assignments are too easy and people walk in late to classes or whenever they want to. Lecturers are nice enough ( but then, when you see someone only once a week, how can you tell? ) they are helpful and seem to genuinely want to help students. But have you seen the city? And how dull it is? Google the pictures or read up about it. Now if the course was good, this city would ensure you performed well, as there is barely anything else to than study. Only plus is that the cost of living is much cheaper than the rest of uk. My classmates are regretting joining as much as me, so try not to fall for the so called rating that they publicise, in order to make more money. Rather, get some feedback from real students. Lastly, as post study work visa is no longer available for international students, choose another country than the UK, like Australia or Canada or wherever... at least that will ensure you earn back some of the money you spent, in case you do end up in a substandard university.
12th best Uni in England. This institution is growing and getting better. Nice campus with modren facilities, good quality teaching and experienced professors.
I think that this university is just done out here, the amount of nitties r unbelievable therefore i would not recommend this uni, students r absolutely filthy...
