Enjoyed my visit to this natural garden. Park has some rare trees. The elephant leg tree truly resembles the leg of an elephant as the title suggests. A marvelous tree. Not that other trees are any less beautiful. Theyre. Visitors can go for a boat ride on a not too large pond, perhaps at a cost. Well laid out pathways enable young and old to take a walk through the undulating landscape. A memorable experience indeed.

Nice place to visit. You can take a lot of pictures on your own and also few photographers available to make a memory of that place and you.Down they have a small boating facility. And also have some children play area. You will enjoy to keep going down. Once you seen all the places down there getting up is the difficult part for some people. They some seating arrangements and you can feel the calmness and peace.TAN Tea shop ia available for tea purchase.Ticket cost for adult is ₹40.Though its a nice and well maintained place yet they dont have exclusive parking facility. But we can park in the road corners.

This beautiful park was established almost 150 years ago. It has been preserved well and is available for use by the public for a very reasonable fee. The park itself has many rare species of trees, many of them imported from around the world. There are of course many native species of trees also, some of them quite unique like the Rudraksh tree, Cinnamon etc. This is a public treasure and I hope it is preserved for future generations.

Have visited Sims park twice in the last 5 years. One of the best collections of flora in the Niligris. Sims park has an extensive collection of trees and plants of the western ghats. Most of the trees are very old which speaks volumes of the history of the park. Worth spending 3-4 hours to view the entire collection. Spread over a large area and well maintained by the authorities. There are places to rest and relax in between as it can be tiring to walk through the entire park. If you are planning to visit sims park, allocate atleast a minimum of 2-3 hours so that you can experience the essence of its beauty and rich flora. As on Jan 2021, entry fees for adult is Rs.40 (above 5 yrs) and for still camera, they charge Rs.50.

Good place to hang out with friends and family. Park is spread across huge area, boating facility is there too. Playing area for kids is also there inside it. Parking is only an issue, dont take your car nearby to the park, some people will unnecessarily charge you for parking, and they dont even have a proper parking, will ask to park on roadside, and I dont think they take responsibility of vehicle anyway. Overall experience is good.

The layout of this park is in the shape of a bowl, and that fact gives you a unique experience as you go around watching and photographing the beautiful flowers inside. feel it is one of the best gardens youll ever visit. Theyve maintained the lawn and tall trees really well. There are also areas to sit and chill out, picnic-style.
